Where do I save a .atn action file? I don't see the proper folder

I have W7 computer, with PSE 10.0; I downloaded an .atn action file and it is now in my "downloads" folder. Where do I save this .atn file? I do not see a Workflow Panels\Actions folder in the PSE 10.0\en-US folder. The directions say to save it in that place, in order to have the action show up in the Guided Edit panel on PSE 10.0

When saving Numbers files I use to see the progress of the save. I no longer see its progress. The files are being saved. Any reason why this is happening??

I'm on OS X 10.7, your profile says you're on 10.6.8, so i can't duplicate what you are seeing. If I was to guess, I'd say it is related to changes made for Lion where versions are periodically saved automatically in the background, where you wouldn't want a progress window always popping up. "Save" has become "Save a Version" and, though I hadn't noticed, probably also does not pop up a progress window..

I don't see the junk folder where do I find it?

Please help. When exporting a 720p video using Quicktime Conversion in FCP it saves some extra temporary files to my computer. The file is called ICMMultiPassStorage. This file gets so large that eventually the program and exporting process crashes.

This file gets so large that eventually the program and exporting process crashes. I have been able to locate the file using GrandPerspective and close out of FCP to delete it. But when I try exporting the movie again it creates the ICMMultiPassStorage file again. I have made sure my scratch disks are set to my external hard drive so I know that isn't the issue. How do I fix this problem so these temporary files are not being stored on my internal hard drive instead of my external?Thanks!

Try exporting the timeline "using current settings" via Make QuickTime Movie, then submit that clip to Compressor for the transcode. This should be faster and less painful.

Within reason, Pages v5.2 documents are forwards compatible with Pages v5.5.3. Apple introduced the single file format document as a default with Pages v5.5.3 which is not backwards compatible with Pages v5 on Mavericks.
However, they also provided a File > Advanced > Change File Type > {Single File, Package} menu that allows you to change the current Pages v5.5.3 document into the backwards compatible Package type document. You would follow this transformation with a File > Save operation to complete it.

Using:
OPEN DATASET file FOR OUTPUT FILTER 'compress'.
OR
DATA: l_command(100) type c.
   CONCATENATE 'compress ' p_file INTO lw_command SEPARATED BY space.
    ENDIF.
    CALL 'SYSTEM' ID 'COMMAND' FIELD lw_command.
When I see the file content it contains junk characters.
If I want to see the data Do I need to uncompress the file.
con't we see the data without uncompressing the file?.

Uncompress is required to read the content of an Compressed file.
OPEN DATASET DSN FOR OUTPUT FILTER 'compress'.
OPEN DATASET DSN FOR INPUT FILTER 'uncompress'.
The first OPEN statement opens the file so that the displayed data can be read into it in compressed form.
The second OPEN statement opens the file so that the data is decompressed when it is read from the file.

If you downloaded the correct version for your iPad model (and the different models have different ipsw files), then you should be able to navigate to it in iTunes by pressing and holding the shift key on Windows (command key on Mac) when clicking the Check For Updates button.

Simultaneous actions: Don't see the option to do together

I've been reading and studying for days, and I see references around the web to setting a simultaneous start on the dropdown menu at the bottom of the more options window. Yet no matter what actions I add, I never see the "start them together" option. Has it changed from a prior lifetime?

Where does iWeb save my individual .html files?

I'm using iWeb for the first time, and I'd like to upload some test pages to my domain to see if how things look before REALLY taking over my current index.htm page.
But I can't find where iWeb is saving my .html files so that I can upload them individually via Fetch.

Publish your site to a local folder or to the desktop. The individual html files are inside - including a copy of the index.html file.
If you upload individual files/folders you will probably break the site structure if you don't know what you're doing. You can upload the whole folder - and not the external index.html file - and get to your site from the URL.....

.... or you can simply double click the local version of the external index.html on your desktop to launch your site in the browser without going to the trouble of uploading it via FTP.
