Where do i send iPhone software enhancement suggestions?
I moved from a palm smartphone to the iPhone and noticed the calendar is lacking some basic functions.
for instance...
On Palm OS, the calendar can be configured to show you you closest upcoming appointment on the main screen. On the iphone i get no notification of anything going on until the appt reminder goes off. I dont see why apple cant put in a notice on the calendar saying you have an upcoming appt (little red circle)like it does with txt messaging and email. I would find that very useful alerting me to an upcoming event and to look at the calendar. just my $.02 So where can i send this so apple people can look at this?

Where do I submit a software design suggestion?
It is said that having bluetooth turned on, lowers battery life of the iPhone. I would like to make turning bluetooth on/off (and WiFi too) like the "Airplane Mode" operation and having it be one of the options at the top of the "settings" page, with a one touch on/off, without having to open up the page.
Currently, I have to make 4 finger punches to turn off bluetooth. Airplane Mode is 50% less, or 2 finger punches. (settings and on/off on the Airplane Mode bar) Why the inconsistancy?
Speaking of inconsistancy, there are several ways to delete things on the iPhone.
1) Phone Mode: Recents: You have a "clear" button. You can't clear or delet one recent call, but must choose "all"
2) Phone Mode: Contacts: You have to open a contacts name, click an "edit" button, scroll down to the bottom of the file, and click "Delete Contact"
3) Phone Mode: Voicemail: There is a big "Delete" button at the bottom of the screen. When you touch a voicemail, the "Delete" button activates and is available. To "Delete All" you have to scroll to the bottom and click on "Deleted Messages" and then the "Delete Button" changes to "Clear All" but I don't know if that clears all the old deleted messages or clears all the current ones too.
4a) Mail Mode: With your inbox showing, you can drag your finger along a given email and the red "Delete" button shows up on the right, or....
4b) Mail Mode: you can click the "Edit" button and the red "Minus" button shows up to the left of every email. You can click it and the red "Delete" button appears to the right of the email.
4c) Mail Mode: There is a trash can at the bottom of the screen immediately. Works great! I can leave trashed emails there for later retrieval and "empty trash" like like my computer does.
5) iPod Mode: I haven't found a way to delete songs there yet without going to my computer and deleting them in iTunes.
6a) Map Mode: Bookmarks: To delete a bookmark, you must click "Edit" first and then click the red "Minus" button and then the red "Delete" button.
6b) Map Mode: Bookmarks: "Recents" To delete a recent map search, you must click "Clear" first, there is no red "Minus" button, and click on the red "Clear All Recents" bar at the bottom. No option to clear a single search.
7) Weather Mode: If I want to delete a city, I must click on a little "i" on the bottom right of the city that I have chosen to view the weather forecast. Then I see the red "Minus" button to click and the red "Delete" button shows up.
8) Notes Mode: This mode has a trash can at the bottom.
9) Clock Mode: Has a "Edit" button on the top which, when clicked displays the red "Minus" buttons.
10) Stocks Mode: Has the "i" like in weather mode in #7 above.
11) Calendar Mode: Click on the event at the bottom of the page, click "Edit" and then "Delete"
12) Photo Mode: No delete method. Must go through iTunes I guess.
13) SMS Mode: To delete a text message or conversation, you drag your finger across the person on the list and a "Delete" button appears... OR... you click the "Edit" button and see the red "Minus" buttons... OR... you click the persons name and then click "Clear" to clear the conversation.
In conclusion...
It looks like Apple had 10 different departments design how they wanted to their section to operate. It seems like SOME departments collaborated with others but not all departments, or more than one operation was assigned to a given department. I would like to see a software update to have a consistant phraseology used. Currently they use Clear, Delete, Edit, Minus Butons, Delete Bars, Trash Icons, or nothing at all.Click here and fill out the form.

iph 4s, using windows 8; downloaded latest update 6 for iphone and iphone software update center could not be contacted or is not available; tried troubleshooting; removed other usb connections and restarted computer; still will not connect to iphone software update center; any suggestions?

Firstly, slap your friend across the back of the head. Secondly, Remove his number as "iphone" save the contact.
have him send another iMessage (make sure it sends as iMessage not text) and it should register as his full number (XXX)XXX-XXXX. add that to "existing contact" as iphone, reply as imessage. should work. -

Per chance is your AirPort Express Base Station (AX) an 802.11g model? If so, that is why you are getting this error message from the AirPort Utility running on the iPad. You would need to use either version 5.6 or 5.6.1 running on a Mac or a PC to administer this base station.
