Where do I store new fonts so I can use them in DW

My graphics artist sent me a new font, and i added it to the windows font folder.....but still was not able to access it in DW.  where should I put it?

Well...where to start? Folks who will be visiting your site probably won't have the font in question. So they'll see your design most likely with their browser's default font. So first off you'll need to find out if it will even be worthwile using a new font that may not be available and usable by your visitor's browsers. But there are some comon fonts that are widely available that you can use to somewhat guarantee that folks will see what you designed the way you meant it. These are called font stacks - you basically use CSS to tell the browser what font you would first prefer it to use and on down the "stack" until, if none of the fonts are available on that machine/browser, it uses it's default (serif, sans-serif, proportional, and script). So keep that in mind (if you'd like to learn more about font stacks and which fonts are commonly available, do a web search on font stacks).
Okay that being said... here's how to add it (but be aware that others might not see your wonderful font):
On your Properties bar, select the Font dropdown and click the edit font list. Then you can add your font from the "Available Fonts" window by selecting it and hitting the left-facing double brackets that point to the Chosen Fonts window. When your done, hit the OK button. Then start using this font stack in your website.
