Where do new busses get their numbers from?

When I create a new bus in the Environment mixer it will have a number that seems to be coming from the MIDI channel number of one of the software instrument tracks-is that correct?
Is it possible to change the number of an existing bus? or do I have to create all 64 busses and choose the number I want?
Won't Logic just force the number it wants to use if I have created all the bus objects? i.e. if I choose to number a bus 3, and logic sees the MIDI channel of the top most software track[or audio track] is different won't it just undo my choice?
Can this be done in Logic Pro X?
Has Apple finally started selling APP Store gift cards, like iTunes does?

If you were not syncing the contacts in your phone with a contact manager or cloud service, there is no way to get them from the car to the phone other than manually re-entering them in the phone.

First of all, there is no need to put the entire text of your post into the title of your thread.
Next, does your daughter have an iPhone? Do her friends have iPhones? If the answer to both questions is "yes", then it is possible she is not texting them, but using iMessage to communicate with them. iMessages will not show up in the texting traffic on a line as they are not texts, but messages sent thru Apple's servers.
For all "texts" to show up in the texting activity of an iPhone, you must disable iMessage on the device. Any messages sent as iMessages(blue bubbles around the text) on an iPhone will not show up in any texting activity.

Your contacts should be on your computer. You should be syncing them regularly.

I recently purchased an Iphone and set it up. When I looked at my Contacts, there were hundreds of Contacts in the Contact list. I recognized most of them, but I'm wondering, where did it pull the Contact information from? It seemed to have pulled the information from numerous souces, based on what I saw in the Contact list.

How do I get footnotes to continue their numbering from previous chapters in epub?

I have INDD CS6 and have been trying to export an EPUB from a book file with about 4-5 chapters,
The problem is this:
I have footnotes throughout the various chapters and I want the numbering to be one single string (in other words 1-2-3-4-5-6-etc. no matter what chapter it is in...thus, not a restart of the numbering for each chapter).
Now I have it working in the InDesign files, so that if I made a PDF, I would get what I described above. HOWEVER: when i go to make an EPUB, i get the footnote numbering starting over at 1 for each and every chapter.
I have tried to force the number to start manually (i.e. in chapter three i set it to start at #6 footnote) And it reflects that it in INDD (and in the PDF), but when i go to export EPUB— no dice. Starts at one ...
SO if someone has an answer as to how to fix this in INDD, I would really appreciate it, since we teach EPUB classes to people and I like to have the best information for them. If this is an export bug, so be it, I would just like to find out one way or the other.

well now three times the Canadian case manager has called me to say he had to follow the rules and call me and to say there is nothing he could do.
I think the problem may be that as the US parts is run from offshore - maybe India, the system is set up so that they cannot enter a NON US address - so they cannot send it here.
so HP are not sending the part that should have been included just because of how the HP Parts computer is set up

That's not a problem. With a new device, you could connect to iTunes, set it up and restore from the backup of the old device (either including, or not, the contacts). Then, with the same iCloud account setup on it, you could enable contact syncing and go from there. In the iCloud settings on the iPhone, you can selective enable/disable the things you want to use iCloud for. Contact sync via iCloud is a separate on/off setting, so you can use iCloud just for email and contacts, and nothing else if you wished. Then use iTunes sync for everything else.
Personally, even if you use iCloud for all its possible features, I'd still suggest backing up in iTunes once in a while too - an iTunes backup is more complete than an iCloud backup.

I live in US. When some one calls from india, No caller ID is displayed on iphone. How to see the number. I already verified that the callers did not blocked their numbers from being visible.

I have a scenario where I need to get a file from a website.
Basically on a weekly basis one our customers are going to upload a file that contains all the information for delivery's for the coming week.
the way this used to be done is the user would go to the website directly and download the uploaded file.
However now we want to do it as an automatic integration using PI.
Does anyone have an idea how to do this? Is it even possible?

I am sorry, I misunderstood this. I thought you want to download.
The upload is done with a HTTP POST, so you can use the HTTP receiver adapter.
Use the prolog and epilog to simulate the form data post.
Use an HTTP sniffer to get the whole HTTP stream, when you upload the file to the website to see, what you have to put in the HTTP adapter settings.

There is no built-in setting for redirecting a bookmark to a new tab.
Is it possible that the computer which does that has an add-on such as the Tab Mix Plus extension installed? TMP has a setting for that (Events > Tab Opening).
