Where do OVI Mail downloads go on the phone?
Hi, some messages I receive with Ovi Mail, contain attachments. When I choose to download these, I see the progress bar... download finished... but then cannot find these documents anywhere. My phone is an E72. Where do I need to navigate to find the downloaded attachments?

If you save the attachments, the type of attachment decides where it will go.
Photos for instance go to the root of the "images" folder on either main memory, mass memory or a card.
Or another example, html files go to the "other" folder.
Try to locate your attachments with the File Manager, it lives in Applications/Office and look for the file name.
If you use Nokia mail instead of the mail feature under "messaging", you will have full control of where attachments are saved.

First, you do not have a 3G if you could upgrade it to 6.1.3, because 4.2.1 is the last version that will work on the 3G. So you either have a 3GS or you somehow hacked the phone to install an incompatible version. Assuming you have a 3GS the most likely reason for your problem is you have a gray market phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. When you upgraded it you removed the hack, so the phone is now locked to its original carrier. -
Had to remove itunes from my computer to reset the computer. Now I'm having problems syncing my iphone with the computer. Computer is saying it wants to download updates to the phone but that will delete things I downloaded straight from the phone. Help!
iTunes thinks you have a new computer because you restored the OS. Open iTunes and authorize it to the same account you have on the iPhone. Did you restore your iTunes content from a backup after resetting your computer? Have you been syncing regularly with the computer, and does the iTunes library on the computer contain your apps, music and videos? If so just sync and your content will be removed then restored.
If you have not hopefully you have now learned something. You can recover apps and purchased songs by connecting the phone, without syncing, and choose "Transfer purchases..." from the File menu. -
I am having issues get my email in one of my mail accounts so I tried to "DELETE" the whole account. But my phone will not delete a mail account. And the phone is getting really hot and battery was full 2 hours ago and now at 25%.
Well, you don't say what happens when you try to delete the account. So I don't know what else to recommend. However, if your phone is not charging, is that the mains charger or the computer USB? Also, if it not showing any change to battery percentage, then something is wrong with the software. The next step in user troubleshooting after the reset is a restore from backup. However, considering the condition of the phone right now, I would be more than willing to say your backup is going to be corrupt. But you can try. If that does not fix the device, then you restore as new, not from a backup. If the phone works, then you can try restoring the backup again, but if it messes up, you are going to have to restore as new again. If the restore as new does not work, then you need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar or Authorized Apple Service Provider to get the hardware checked.

Where is the audiobook I bought on my iphone? How do I download it to the phone?
I bought an audiobook with my iphone. My first problem was that it didn't work after I got away from WiFi. I would assume that most people listen to audiobooks in the car like I wanted. How do I get this book to be in my phone without WiFi!!?? My second problem is that I touched a little cloud with an arrrow in it next to the part 1 after which it dissapeared from my phone. What is that cloud? why the arrow? What am I supposed to do with it? Does anyone now where part 1 went? How do I get it back on the phone?
To download an audiobook you need to have wifi. Once it is finished downloading you can play anytime, anywhere. The little cloud with the arrow means download so it sounds like it didn't finish downloading while you were in wifi area. I have had problems with my audiobooks, I just spent 45 minutes with Apple trying to find a solution, argh I was missing all my books and even the 'audiobooks' tab under my music. I signed out of iTunes on my iPhone, rebooted it, then resigned back in. Audiobooks tab was back and allll my books! I really hope that works if you haven't already fixed it!

OVI Mail POP3 access in the future?
Since the inception of OVI Mail, we have been able to access our email with other clients via IMAP. I've searched high and low to see if POP3 access is on the future roadmap, but find nothing. Does anybody know if it's coming?

Mail stops pushing to the phone
Anyone have this issue? My icloud e-mail stops getting pushed to my phone. If I go into e-mail it downloads messages that were waiting but don't get pushed. This has happened on my 4s and my wifes 4. I had to hard restart to get it back to work on both phones. I had this issue with earlier version of iOS and Apple issued a fix for it in a later release. Just wondering if other poeple are having the issue.
Thanks!!!My iPhone 4S also does this. Email from an iCloud account pushes for part of the day and at some point quits. I have to either go into the mail app to get mail or restart the phone to get the pushing to work.

Hi I've been trying to set one of my songs as my ringtone but it doesn't give me that option plz help with that.
I've also downloaded music from the internet via UC Browser and on my old phone it would save it to my playlist but on the Iphone it doesnt y?You can't download music through anything other than the iTunes store or by syncing music that you have on your computer that is placed into iTunes. Once the music is in iTunes, you can sync it to the phone.

My Mac has stopped receiving mail. I have a mac.com address. Mail is still coming through to my iphone and my wife's ipad but nothing is coming through to my imac.I have mail from half an hour ago on the phone but nothing newer than 18 Feb on the mac. Everythng was working fine until recently and I have not touched any settings! Can anyone help?
So I tried something else recently and it seems to have fixed the issue. My mail is now getting new mail again and refreshing after waking from sleep without having to restart mail. Give it a try and hopefully it will help you too.
First, make sure your Mailbox List is visible (Shift + Control + M). Then select all of your inboxes, mailboxes, and folders (not just the root folder for nested folders, make sure to select them all). Then under the "Mailbox" menu, select "Rebuild."
It may take a while to rebuild them all if you have a lot, but like I said it seems to have done the trick for me. I hope that proves to be more of a long-term solution. -

Downgrading of any version of iOS isn't supported by Apple. If you search the web, you'll find instructions that may work, but you're on your own should any problems arise. For many people it goes without problems, but for some it's reportedly bricked their devices.
If you haven't done so already, try restoring your iPhone as a new device, not from a backup, and run just with the included apps for a bit and see how it performs. Cache corruption or incompatible software can cause performance and stability issues. No guarantees, but it's worth a try to at least try to identify what's causing the problems, iOS 6 itself or something you have loaded.

E72 sent mail showing only on the phone
Hi all
Whenever i sent mail from my nokia E72 copy gets into sent folder. I am subscribed to my imap sent folder. When i'm at home checking my mail i see that none of the mails i have sent from the phone are showing up in sent folder. Every mail i sent from computer is there, but none of the phone sent ones....

Ovi Suite: Managing albums on the phone
Hi all,
Anyone out there know if there's a way to manage your (picture) albums on the phone via Ovi Suite? My main goal is to get folders/albums that I already have on my computer onto my phone into an album/folder with the same name (e.g. 2010 Birthday Party).
The albums can be created on Ovi Suite, but I don't see any way to transfer them to the phone. (I can send all the individual pictures to the phone, but then I'll be stuck w/100s of pictures and no way to organize them w/o going to each one manually and assigning it to an album created on the phone).
Any ideas guys? If there's even a way to do it in Explorer I'd be open to that too

Shut the Phone Down Pull the SD Card out. Put the Card in a SD Card Adapter then you can put it into the Computer to put your pictures on it.. then when your Finished return the Sd Back to the Phone install it then you can turn your phone back on..b33

downloaded 2 files and can see them in app as downloads but cannot find them using file manager root explorer. need to move them to sdcard
Ah, I think this might be caused by [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=596370 bug 596370]: If the file you click on is automatically opened by another application, Firefox will delete it when the browser closes. If you want to save the file permanently instead of just viewing it once, you can press-and-hold on the link and choose "Save Link" instead of just tapping it.
This is a known problem with Firefox that I hope will be fixed in a future version.
