  • Where do we block costcenter from HR to FI

    Hi,
Please tell me where do we block cost center which come from SAP-HR payroll posting.

Do you want payroll to stop positing to cost centers?
This is derived from Position -> Employee master data. You can make changes in employee master data.
Blocking cost center is not advisable, as it is used in other modules.

  • Where do I block my podcast?

I know that it should be simple to delete my podcast from iTunes. Unfortunately, I don't know where to go to find my RSS feed in order to insert the iTunes block tag. Where do I go to put in the tag so I can delete my podcast?

To check the feed URL registered with iTunes: go to your iTunes Store page. Click the 'Subscribe Free' button. Click on 'Podcasts' in the sidebar.
When your podcast appears (may take a few seconds) control-click on its title and choose 'Copy Podcast URL'. Paste into TextEdit or a browser's address bar to see the URL. If you open it in a broswer (FireFox is better than Safari for this) and choose 'View Source' or equivalent from the 'View' menu you can read the actual feed code.
If you have a question about your podcast please post the URLs of the Store page and the feed: please include the http://to make the links clickable.

  • Is there any exception used any where in the block

    Hi All,
Is there is any Exception that can be used inside any where in the pl/sql block.
    Thanks & Regards
    Srikkanth.M

Yes, Srikanth.. many kind of exceptions are there which can be raised within a pl/sql block, after a begin keyword..
for example: if you have wrote select query, it can raise no data found exception (if select query doesn't return anything), multiple rows fond exception ( if query selects multiple rows) other select query related exceptions like table or column not found..
    Exception List is here:

  • Where is the blocked pop-up indicator now that the status bar is gone?

In Firefox 3, we had this:
    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Pop-up%20blocker?s=pop-ups&as=s
When blocking a pop-up, Firefox displays an information bar, as well as an icon Popup-blocked-en-win.png in the status bar.
Firefox 4 BETA, the status bar is gone. How do I easily add a blocked pop-up to the exclusion list so it will open in the future?

Thanks for your reply to this question. I believe that "show the blocked pop-up" ''was'' an option in FireFox's built-in popup blocker. As the OP mentioned, it is listed parenthetically on the [[Pop-Up Blocker Help Page|Pop-Up Blocker Help Page]]. Also, I don't run much in the way of add-ons and extensions, and no extensions were disabled when I updated this morning, but nonetheless the option seems to have disappeared. Since this problem doesn't have many "me toos," maybe it only happens under specific circumstances?

  • Can't Open fb or yt. I used to live in China where it is blocked.

Basically, when I lived in China facebook and youtube were blocked on my laptop. Now I am back in England, my computer still thinks its in China or something and I still can't get on fb or yt or any **** in fact... lol
Any help is appreciated I couldn't find anything about this...

Have you tried resetting your modem/router, then restarting your Mac and testing it? If that doesn't solve anything for you, try changing your DNS servers in System Preferences>Network to use those from OpenDNS:
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
then click Apply Now, quit System Preferences and restart Safari.

  • Any reliable cases where larger block sizes are useful?

So I did some googling around to read up on 16kb or larger blocksizes. I found a series of articles by Jonathan Lewis and Richard Foote (plus other DBAs whose posts I trust ) debunking the usage of larger blocksize. I have not been able to find a single article, blog post, forum post, with a legitimate case where a larger block size actually improves performance. Its hard to google this stuff because the good stuff is buried beneath all the trash.
So have any of the Oak Table people and other guys who write articles where they do quality testing find cases where larger block sizes are useful?
I don't have a specific need. I'm just curious. Every time I  look this up I get buried in generic copy and paste blog posts that copy the docs, the generic test cases that were debunked, by the guys above, and other junk. So its hard to look for this.

Lurking in the various things I've written about block sizes there are a couple of comments about using different block sizes (occasionally) for LOBs - though this might be bigger or smaller depending on the sizes of the actual LOBs and the usage pattern: it also means you automatically separate the LOB cache from the main cache, which can be very helpful.
I've also suggested that for IOTs (index organized tables) where the index entries can be fairly large and you don't want to create an overflow segment you may get some benefit if the larger block size typically allows all rows for a give (partial) key value to reside in just one or two blocks.  The same argument can apply, though with slightly less strength for "fat" indexes (i.e. ones you've added columns to in order to avoid visiting the table for very impoartant time-critical queries).  The drawback in these two cases is that you're second-guessing, and to an extent choking, the LRU algorithms, and you may find that the gain on the specific indexes is obliterated by the loss on the rest of the caching activity.

  • Credit block of ship-to-party

    Hi thr,
I have this strange problem where a credit block is coming up on Ship-to. This custoemr has account grp as 0002 which is an exclusive ship-to and when I use VA01 and try to create a sales order and first input ship-to it says order receipt/delivery not possible, credit customer blocked. But when entered along with sold-to all is good. There is no credit data maninatied for thus ship-to, so how is the error coming up?
    Thanks very much !!

I assume when you enter the ship-to party, the system checks only at the company code(and to credit control area) level. Normally at the company code level, the credit limit may be maintained at for example $1.00. When you enter the sold-to party number, the system finds the payer number and then for this payer it finds the corresponding credit limit through FD32 record. If the limit does not exceed, then this will not block. It looks this is what happening in your scenario.
Just check any payer is added in the ship-to party customer master record. If not, add, then re-test.
    Regards,

  • How do I "block" contacts on my iphone 5C

After upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS 7 I discovered that within Contacts I now have the option to 'block' a contact which is awesome!   My wife has an iPhone 5 and also now has this capability.  My service is through AT&T Wireless and her's is Verizon.
But the new iPhone 5C I purchased for my college aged daughter (also on Verizon) does NOT have this capability.   Is this feature not available on the 5C?  Or is this a Verizon 5C thing?  Since the 5C is described as the 5, only in a cost reduced hardware platform it SHOULD have this capability as my wife's does.  I feel misled.
If it is an attempt by Apple to differentiate the 5C and 5S, why didn't Apple make this OBVIOUS in their literature???   Knowing of this difference, and any others that are yet to be found, I may have purchased the 5S instead.
Having this capability on the 5C should not require an app to be installed, free or not.
Thanks in advance for any clarity / insight on this.
Interested in knowing if anyone else with a 5C can tell me if they have this feature available who might be on a carrier other than Verizon.

I beleive the Contact Blocking is an iOS 7 feature, hence why your iPhone 4S & 5 now has it where it didn't before.
I know of the following areas where you can block a contact.
Any Contact with IN the Phone app
Any "Unknown Number" in the Recent tab in the Phone app
Any Contact with in iMessages... Click the name at the top, then the i with a circle around it. Scroll to the bottom.
    Settings---> Phone---> Blocked---> Add New
However, from what it looks like you can not block any contacts from with in the Contact app.
You may want to look into Verizon's own blocking system, this is done on they're end. So the phone won't even see it, and it's for any type of phone. Just sign into your VW account.
Left column you should see "Block Services."
Center/top Manage Family Safegaurds and Controls.
Then the very first one should be Call & Message Blocking
Right side of screen is the View Details & Edit. Select that, then you can select which phone you want to apply the blocking to. Once on that screen you can enter the number(s) to be blocked. You can make it so it's for just that phone you want to apply to it. Or all the phones on the plane.
Just make sure that you know that it blocks the number for 90 days, but you can reblock it once the 90 days are up. And that you only have 5 sets of numbers per phoneline.
I've used it in the past and the people who've been calling me hasn't call me since. Even after the 90 day blocking period. Probably because they got the hint. lol

  • How to block the material qty to 1 while creating sales order (VA01)?

    Hi All,
Scenario :  We have 20 Materials each with 100 qty in Plant. In the sales order we should have all the 20 materials with qty one. The sales order should throw an error if the material qty is more than 1 and should not allow to create a sales order.
so is there any transaction code where we can block the entire material qty to 1 from the same plant while creating sales order?
Note: We should not set in MM01 "Minimum order qty". Assume we have 100 material in plant we can't set for each material one by one "minimum order qty".Instead of that is there any option to set the whole material qty to 1 as minimum while creating sales order?
Kindly guide me how to proceed.
    Thanks,
    Renjith

If you have access to idoc before calling the processing Function module, Adding header text segments E1EDKT1 and E1EDKT2 to the idoc will create the header text.
