Where do we find existing web services?

Hi Everybody,
Where do we find existing standard SAP web services? I did not find it on se80
thanks and regards,
Ramya Shenoy

Hi Ramya,
You can find all SAP developed services in Service Registry ,The purpose of Service Registry is a registry for Web services. Located centrally within an SOA landscape, it contains entries for all services and service definitions in that landscape, with references to the servicesu2019 relevant WSDL metadata and to the locations of the callable service endpoints. The registered services are classified using semantic-rich classification systems to enable browsing of services by classification.
The Services Registry provides visibility in an SOA landscape providing answers to questions such as:
Where are services located in the landscape?
Which services are modeled but not yet implemented?
Which services are already configured and can be invoked?
To make searching for services in the Registry even easier, a query user interface has been embedded in the respective tools in the development environment. Developers can directly browse the Registry and retrieve the WSDL file of the service that has been selected for consumption.
The Services Registry is a central system that can be used by:
Developers u2013 to find available Web services they can reuse
Administrators u2013 to find available service endpoints and manage the connections between consumer and provider systems
    SAP and non-SAP applications Integration.
SAP Service Registry based on UDDI3.0 Standards, use SOAManager is the transaction to view the Service Registry.

  • TS3991 where can I find my web page I created on web me?

where can I find my web page I created on web me?

I'm not sure what web me is.  Are you referring to iWeb, Apple's former web page editor/manager?
If you mean the web page that was on MobileMe, it's been deleted.  Last month, MobileMe was shut down and iCloud took over.  Unfortunately, iCloud does not provide a web page service, nor a photo gallery.
However, if you used iWeb to create the site, then you should still have the files on your mac.  These can be uploaded to another web provider, which you would have to subscribe to.  There are hundreds if not thousands of providers around the globe.

  • How to access existing Web Service

I want to access the web service (SOAP) from java classes.
Can Any body help me by sending sample code providing that how to send my XML content to the existing web service and get the response from that.
I want to further analyse that it is succedded or not from the response of web service (the response is also in XML).
    Thanks,
    Dipen.

You are in the wrong forum - web services are not available with Sun webserver. Speaking of examples to check out, I would recommend you to install Sun appserver 8.1 or 8.2 and check examples that come with it, specifically in "samples/webservices" and "samples/xml" directories.

As an Oracle trainer, I consider the OBEs to be very important. I doubt that Oracle will get rid of them.
However, it takes time to make them. I suspect that they are created when a new feature needs to be demonstrated and the product management has the resources available.
I just wish they would make the original set from Oracle8i available. They provided some very important basics which have long since hit the archive pile.
I'm sure that some of the ACEs would be happy to upgrade them to Oracle10g/11g level. I know I would be willing to contribute to that effort.

  • New operation for existing web service...please help!

    Hello,
I created a web service using "Create Web Service" wizard from SE37 for my function group - ZTEST. There are total 2 function modules in this function group - ZTEST1 and ZTEST2. It has been deployed under SOAP runtime. The service is active and tested successfully. In SOAMANAGER, I see ZTEST1 and ZTEST2 as different operations. Now I have created a new function module ZTEST3 under function group ZTEST and want it to be available as third operation in my existing web service. How can I do that?

Under "Internal View" tab of service definition right click and select "Modify Operation" it will give you option to chose other FMs.

  • How to add a new filter in an existing web service method (BIWS - WEBI document)

Hello Experts, we have 7 web service query's connected to a dashboard. Basically it is one WSDL URL and 7 Get Methods...Web service queries are BIWS (via WEBI document instance). There are filters setup for each of these web service methods.
Recently there was a request to add 2 new fields to the webi document and also the 2 fields need to be included as filters in the 7 methods. I know there is an option to edit the method, but when i edit the method, i cannot find the 2 new fields in list to set as filters. Can anybody help me understand how to add filters to an existiing web service method? I do not want to delete the method and republish the block as web service.
Any help will be great and points rewarded.
    Thank you
    Ann

    Hi Ann,
The reason you are not able to see any of the new columns as a option to select in your web service block is because when you have published that block, they were not present. Add these two new objects in your block and publish it again. You will be prompted for duplication content. Select the highlighted block for duplicate and now you can see the new added objects in the filter option. Update and this will overwrite your published block. Please note, web services do appear to behave weirdly when used with dashboards so I request you to please try it in a separate test report first.
    Hope that helps.

  • Help needed in how to find out Web services in CRM

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i am trying to check out what all CRM business objects are supported as web services as standard SAP functionality.
Any pointers on this will be really helpful.
    Thanks,
    Udaya

    Hi Udaya,
Did you check in the Enterprise Service Browser in NWDS?
    (Assuming CE7.1 infrastructure)
I currently do not have access to confirm on CRM business object, but in the Services Browser some standard services were available.
This information should also be available on SOAMANAGER or Service Repository (http://<server>:<port>/sr but I haven't checked it personally.
    Hope this is helpful.

  • Photoshop CC – Where can I find "Generate/web assets"?

On MAX there was a demonstration of a new comman to be found unter menu "File/Generate/Web-Assets?
Am I blind? Where can I find this command?

According to Photoshop Help, that feature is still a work in progress.
The MAX demo was a preview of something we are working on. This feature is not part of Photoshop CC yet. We plan to ship this feature later this year.

  • ATG - Axis integration for existing web services

    Hello,
I am currently using the web services as defined in the ATG2007.1/DPS/WebServices/userprofilingWebServices.ear
I have a need to extend this to do pre-processing before hitting the getProfileId and my understanding is that I need
to use a Handler to do so. But when I try to modify the web service by trying to point to my own Handler in the
    webservices.xml file with:
    <handler>
    <handler-name>com.mycompany.security.RemoteIPHandler</handler-name>
    <handler-class>com.mycompany.security.RemoteIPHandler</handler-class>
    </handler>
this handler doesn't seem to be registered (the change is in the JBoss 4.0.5)
and is never called. Does anyone have experience trying to use a Handler for
the out-of-box user profile web services? Am I even modifying the correct file/layer?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Doug

If you have SOA Suite licenses, then you can use OSB. OSB provides support for REST.
    cheers

  • HP 110-243wb w/Windows8.1 - where do I find my web camera and are my speakers my microphone?

Dear Experts: I gave up my Dell that I got in 1998 and got this HP for Christmas. I want to try Skype and have downloaded the program. My question is this: Where do I find my webcam and microphone? Thank you for any help.
    This question was solved.

    Hello @Coloradolady1,
I understand that you are trying to Skype on your new HP 110-243w Desktop PC. According to the HP 110-243w Desktop PC Product Specifications page your computer does not have a Webcam and Mic built in so you would have had to purchase them separately. What webcam and mic did you purchase? If you could post the model numbers for them or how they are connected I can attempt to help you.
Please re-post with the requested information. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
Please click the "Thumbs Up" on the bottom right of this post to say thank you if you appreciate the support I provide!

  • ESB unable to connect to existing Web Service

Use Case: We have an existing webservice which is RPC encoded and that had to be invoked from Oracle ESB.

    Options we think are
    1) Convert the RPC encoded to Document wrapped. If this option has to be followed, what are all the factors taken to be account ?
    2) Try to design the existing functionality using adapter and connect to it. (don't know whether this is possible as the deadlines are bit tight).
    Thanks,
    Nagarajan K.

    Thanks very much! It works.
However, another problem comes. For the two fields that I "POST"ed, it seems that one can reach the servlet but one cannot. When I retrieve the values from the servlet using "req.getParameter("XXX")", one of them got null. But obviously my applet does not send null values.
Any other thing is needed? Thanks!
