Where do you find 'Authorize this Computer'?

just purchased a new 5c and trying to sync music and photos with my Mac Mini. message is "the iphone can not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items on this iphone"
'choose Store>Authorize this Computer' - i can't find a prompt to 'authorize this computer' in the iTunes store

Hi Scot,
You want to select Store from the top menu. If you have a Mac, it is listed at the top between Controls and Window, if you have a PC and you don't see a top menu, press Control + B to display the top menu. It is between Controls and Help on that one.

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Authorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

Downloaded iTunes 11.1.3; cannot find "authorize" this computer

Cannot find "authorize" this computer. Where is this feature?

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

Intsructions for Authorizing a computer are bad.
To authorize a computer using your Apple ID
Open iTunes
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.
First of all, there is no "Store Menu".
There are Quick Links, which none are "Authorize This Computer"
Second I can't find Authorize this computer.
I can't find it in the footer or anywhere on the iTunes page.

You are looking at the top of iTunes and not the iTunes store homepage ? If you are on a PC with iTunes 11 then pressing Alt-S might get the Store drop-down menu to appear e.g.

There should be a Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (if you are on iTunes 11 on a PC then press Alt-S and the menu should appear) e.g.

"you must authorize this computer before you can download previous purchased"

HT1420 The instructions on how to authorize a computer need links. I can't find store menu and I can't find authorize this computer.

Hi - Does someone know how to authorize a computer so it will play the songs you've bought from iTunes? I've wasted nearly two hours trying. It all began when I tried to remove a previously authorized computer which broke down years ago.
Step 1 - Log in with apple ID, go into account and click the deauthorize computers button (that's what they tell you to do if you can't connect the broken computer to deauthorize it). I managed that.
Result - Now it says I have no authorized computers. Fair enough. Except I'm trying to reauthorize the one and only working computer we own so it plays the music we've previously bought, and so we can use the iTunes store credit we still have.
Step 2 - Try and reauthorize the working computer - the one I'm typing on - it was authorized earlier today - until I had to unauthorize it to remove the defunct computer with that deauthorize all button.
Anyway the instructions to authorize/reauthorize a computer say, "Go to Store menu - then authorize this computer. " Sounds simple!
It's at this point I'm stuck - the instructions are insufficient for me.There are no links to redirect you to the correct place to authorize your computer. It just says to go to store and authorize this computer. When I press store it's connecting me to store but I can't find anything that says authorize this computer - I can just see album covers etc. On the right I can see our account but I can't find store menu or an authorize this computer button in that either. If I click on our account it says that we have no authorized devices or computers. I'm logged into our account with the correct apple ID - otherwise I wouldn't be able to read that we have no authorized computers would I? And I've logged in and out several times and tried to refresh the page.
Could someone please send me a link to the Store menu so I can click on the correct page then hopefully reauthorize our previously authorized computer. We are using Windows 7, but I don't know what version of itunes - it's a fairly recent version though.
I wish they would make removing and authorizing computers easier - can't they just put a button on the main screen or something?

I want to re-install selected apps, especially those I've purchased, to my iPad after I synced the iPad to my new laptop, and upgraded the iPad's software. Now I cannot do so because my computer needs to be authorized. I cannot find the path suggested in the help screen. My laptop is a PC.

If you are using iTunes 11, first you have to show up the iTunes menu bar > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5610 You can do this with Control and B keys.
Finally, go to the Store menu (in the menu bar) > Authorize this Computer.
