If you are planning on downloading this DON'T! wait for a new version this is full of bugs and i can't even use my itunes right now because it is so buggy. i have unloaded quicktime, loaded the standalone and they didn't work. i have unloaded itunes and quicktime and reladed both several times and still didn't work. i don't know what to do.
does anyone know where i can find the download for old itunes for windows versions?

I was one of the legion with problems in downloading iTunes6 and QT7 for Windows until I tried something (I must say that I am not a pc wizard and I don't know the technical reasons for why the following worked, it just did! So if there are any pc geeks out there, be sure to chime in). Anyway, this is what I did. First uninstall QuickTime if you do have it on your pc. If not, just go to the next step:
Go to START, then RUN. Type in regedit and then click OK. Your REGISTRY EDITOR should open. You should see HKEYLOCALMACHINE in the scroll down menu on the left, with a small box to its left. Make sure that the inside of the box has a negative sign - this will open up the next set of subfolders. Next, make sure that the subfolder, SOFTWARE, has a negative sign in the small box to its left. Next, make sure that there is a negative sign in the box next to the subfolder entitled, Apple Computer, Inc. You'll see at least three subfolders: iPod, iTunes and QuickTime. Click once on the QuickTime folder until it is highlighted and then delete it. You will be asked if you want to delete QuickTime and its subfolders. Click ok and then close out the Registry Editor.
Next, download the stand alone QuickTime 7 at this link (you may have to cut and paste this link to open this website):

When you download the stand alone QT7, you may get a couple of error messages (I did), but if you repeatedly click ok (like I did), the QT7 player should load with no problems.
Again, I am no pc geek, but this worked for me and I have gained access to iTunes6 (with video capacity) and my complete library is intact. Nothing like trial and error!! Good luck -- I hope this works for all of you frustrated Podheads out there!

Hello. I just remember a song that I saw many weeks ago and know I might be interested to buy it cause I pretty liked that song. The problem is that the song was not free on Itunes Canada so I couldn't buy it. Well, the point is that I was wondering if there was any list of all the songs that have been post like Song of the week. With that list, I could find the song and I could see what were the others songs too. I could certainely discover new artists as well.

Well there really isn't any serial number, or at least my copy from the app store doesn't have one. It is tied to your iTunes/app store account. In the app store, look at the help menu....

Sorry I would not know how to score a copy of the Program disc. I would not even trust it if I did.
Photoshop is one of the most pirated software out there and in cases loaded with malware.
Ok then, create a admin account on XP, log in and try running the cd there.

I won't be spending any more money on expensive books now that I know you can't actually get one that applies to the latest version.
Don't get me wrong. I like books. Classroom in a Book series is an excellent resource to have. You will learn a lot from it. Just don't get side-stepped by Creative Cloud's update schedule. No publishing house can keep pace with it. If you stay informed about new releases from Adobe's "What's New" Blogs, you will get your money's worth out of your books. Online Help (F1) is another good resource to use since it is updated fairly often.

Just to be clear for others who might read this thread: There is a free trial available for both CC and standalone (perpetual license) customers. The free trial for both sets of customers is called "CC"; but if at the end of the trial you want to convert to a standalone (perpetual) license, it's just as easy as with previous versions. The latest iOS is v4.3.2 and that is what you will get when checking for updates in iTunes with your iPod touch connected. That will start the download process.

There is no serial number for a trial version. You get the serial number when you purchase. You should be able to select an option to continue with the trial if it is not indicating the trial is over. If the trial is indicated as over, that can happen prematurely for a variety of reasons.

You have it backwards. You enter the car BT system key code into the phone when initailly pairing the devices. Consult your car sound system manual to find the code.
