Where do you switch phone for left handed users

Want to set up phone for a lefty so items are listed on the right side of the screen not the left.

I don't think you can. I've read a lot of reports from upset lefties in relation to the way they use their iPhone. I think it's an oversight in design... a big one really.
I would love to be wrong though! Maybe someone else knows?

With respect, you actually cannot store folders on the left side of the Dock - only on the right side. I wonder if you're talking about Launchpad, which looks like a silver rocket and shows you your installed applications? It's not actually a shortcut to the Applications folder, though. You can certainly drag Launchpad into the left side of the Dock from the Applications folder.

Trackpad button for left-handed mouse users

Dunno if this has been documented elsewhere.
When PC style mouse is set-up for left handed use and then disconnected, the trackpad button remains useless and can only be used IF secondary button click is active.

Do you know if Apple will propose the Apple Watch with the buttons on the other side for left handed who wear their watches on the right wrist?

For those who say go to an Apple store and ask them, the people there are uninformed. I have been to 2 different stores in 2 different states and was told you wear it like any other watch. That would make controlling the digital crown awkward. I have since found online that you do indeed establish a hand at set up as stated by stevejobsfan0123. When on the right wrist the digital crown faces the hand and is at the bottom instead of top as it is when on left wrist. I guess I'll know for sure when mine arrives - not till middle of May.

Have you made arrangements for Classified system users of Adobe Creative Cloud products?

I am a classified system user of the Adobe CS6 Suite of tools. Am I shut out from the Creative Cloud updates going forward? Have you arranged accomodations for us classified users or do we need to switch to other software over time as CS6 becomes obsolete?

where can i find drivers for my iphone 3G? I have an Acer netbook that will no longer sync with my phone or my new iPad. The drivers for the phone can't be found by the computer. Where can i download them from?

All the necessary drivers should be installed when you install iTunes. I don't believe they are packaged separately.
Try downloading and re-installing iTunes. If that doesn't fix it, remove iTunes, reboot, then re-install.

Feature request: Add left-handed users support for Show Pointer

Show Pointer is a very useful tool for precise movements and operations on the touch display.
However, the way it currently works is optimized for right-handed people (as the button is on the left side and you maneuver with the right hand.
As there are very many left-handed people among creative individuals, I'm kindly asking to add left-hand support to Show Pointer, which would effectively mirror the user interface of the tool (button on the right side).
This could be configured in the Photoshop Touch setting panel.
I would really appreciate someone from Adobe reading this and adding this to the product backlog. Thanks.

After installing new version of iMovie, I noticed I chose my home country instead of USA, so that the language is not English but I want subtitles in my movies such as trailers to be English. How do you switch the language? Is there any way that I can install it again without any cost?

TS1398 Where do you get passwords for wiFi networks that pop up under "choose a network"? When I tap one it asks for a password. When I tap "join" nothing happens (join is also faded).

How do you find out who is operating a network and how do you then contact them for a password?

If you don't have access to an available wi-fi network - one that is password locked/protected, you can't join that network - not unless you know the owner of the network and the owner gives you permission to access the network, which means giving you the password for the network.
If the wireless network is not locked/password protected, you should be able to join it. If a free public wi-fi network, many require agreeing to their terms of use which is done via a web page with Safari. A free public wi-fi network at a restaurant that I frequent requires logging in each time with a website provided - without a user name and password. My iPhone connects to the network automatically but I won't have internet access until I login with the website provided automatically with Safari.

Irratic magic mouse behavior: Left handed user

Hello,
I have a magic mouse that I use on the left-hand side of my MacBook Pro and experience irratic mouse behavior and unexpected jumpiness - i.e. while working on a PowerPoint presentation, the screen jump to a different slide even when I'm not touching the mouse. The screen often jumps on its own even if I'm not typing or using the magic mouse. I've tried several fixes, including:
Setting up my preferences to Ignore trackpad when mouse is present
Setting up my preferences to Scrolling without intertia
Tryinf a couple of apps (Mountain Tweeks and MagicPrefs)
I'm wondering if my continued issues have to do with the fact that I'm using the mouse on the same side that I plug in my computer power cord and speakers.
I've search extensively for a solution to this issue and have been unable to solve it. Any insight would be appreciated.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
If the "Show Bluetooth status in the menu bar" option is not enabled in the Bluetooth System Preferences, the Bluetooth icon will not display in the menu bar. Enable this option in System Preferences, then check the status of the Bluetooth icon in the upper right menu bar. If the Bluetooth icon does not appear in the menu bar, restart your computer.
Slide the On/Off switch on the bottom of your mouse to turn it on. Note: If the battery compartment cover is not installed properly the On/Off switch may not function correctly or may be difficult to operate. Remove the battery compartment cover and carefully reinstall it.
When your mouse is on and paired, and the batteries are charged, the indicator light glows steadily.
Check preferences
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences, then choose Bluetooth from the View menu. The Bluetooth preferences pane will list the Bluetooth devices paired with the computer, the status of the devices (paired or connected), and whether Bluetooth power is on or not.
Click the gear icon and choose "Connect" to connect a device that is powered on.
Keyboard or mouse intermittently stops responding

Click the mouse once to reconnect it with your Mac. It may take a moment for the mouse to respond.

Check for signal interference
Wireless networks that operate on 2.4GHz may cause interference.
Move cordless phone base stations, microwave ovens, and other 2.4GHz electrical devices away from the Mac if you suspect interference.
Keep wireless devices within 10 meters (33 feet) of the Mac.
Avoid putting metal objects between the device and the Mac.
Mouse does not track as expected (jittery, jumpy, slow, fast).
The Apple Wireless Mouse can be used on most smooth surfaces, however if tracking issues occur try these options:
Choose System Preferences from the Apple () menu, then choose Mouse from the View menu. Set the Tracking slider to adjust how fast the pointer moves as you move the mouse.
Try using a different surface to see if the tracking improves.
Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present.
If multiple Bluetooth wireless devices are in use nearby, try turning them off one at a time to see if the issue improves. Bandwidth intensive devices could affect tracking.

I'm using a T410 and I'm using left handed mouse configuration. I've installed MS wireless laser mouse 5000: it's working fine, touch pad buttons works fine too, that is - the buttons are configured for a left hand use. The problem is with the buttons of the track point: they are configured for a right hand you only, and i don't know how the fx it.

Restart of the eMac cleared it up. Was having problems with the two Airport Extremes working correctly. That was an amperage problem with my circuit protector - a whole nother story!
