Where does a new contact go?

I have synced to a PC at home, and I have contacts turned on for my work Exchange server. I added a contact, which I can find when I search 'All from my PC' but I can't find it in a group.
In the past, when I created a new contact, it would go into Unfiled. I'm not sure where they go now. Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand; you can sync via cable to a contact list on your computer, OR via ActiveSync to an Exchange server, but not both. Does this explain what you are seeing?

You should be able to switch between three different views at the bottom of Contacts (three buttons next to each other below your contacts list) - the leftmost button should show all your accounts and groups next to your list of contacts and you can then simply drag & drop contacts into an account or group :-)

Contacts are stored on the device. The iPhone does not store contacts on the SIM. Make sure you have been backing up the device and syncing your contacts with a supported application on the computer or iCloud or other cloud service. Changing the SIM will not affect your contacts.

When you attempt to turn on AirDrop from your iPhone, one of the options is "Contacts Only". I think your question is that when this appears, which device supplies the contact details?
The answer is that your iPhone (the device you are turning AirDrop on from) supplies the contact details.

But I doubt you can retrieve contacts from there.

Why does a new contact created by a phone number from a mail not show up in my folder of "All contacts"?

I've tried this once before, where I got a text message from a person, whom I would like to add to my contacts.
Even though I tried it several times I did not succeed.
Has anyone an idea of why and how to solve this?

Thank you for contacting Mozilla support. I understand that you have imported bookmarks and now there are two unsorted bookmark folders.
There is one by defualt and there is the one you imported. To better understand how you imported the bookmarks, can you please provide the steps you took to do this?

The master set is stored on Apples servers, a copy/synced set is kept on your device.

InDesign is now locked up because I can't find the place to type in a new Workspace name. Nothing is evident and I get the error tone every time I hit anything. Nothing works, it won't save, and I don't want to lose the work since I saved last.

You should be able to import contacts from a SIM that was used by a different phone. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Import SIM contacts.

RDP for Mac 8.0.5, Where does it store configuration files?

The old 2.1.0 RDP client would store its RDP configuration files in ~/Documents/RDP Connections, and had plists in Preferences.
Where does the new 8.0.5 version store RDP configurations and general prefs?

We do not have the information about how and where that the App stores the configurations.
However, if you would like to get the .rdp file, you can export the remote desktop in the App, it will prompt you to select a location to store the .rdp file.

Only contacts added to the iCloud group will sync with iCloud. To make this your default, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...scroll down to the Contacts section and tap Default Account. Here, choose iCloud as your default. After doing so, new contacts will be added to iCloud and sync with your iCloud account.

Its seems that for many people, this feature was not enabled automatically, instead it is set on a different setting of 'show my homepage' or 'show a blank page'. But it is very easy to change, I just did it myself! Here is how to do it:
At the top left of the screen is an orange 'Firefox' box, click on it. On the right of the dropdown menu you will see 'Options'. Click on it. Then you will see another 'Options', click on it. This will bring up the Options menu.

There is a dropdown selection next to that sentance, click on the little down-arrow, and choose ' Show my windows and tabs from last time'. Then click on 'OK' at the bottom of the Options menu, this will close the menu.

Paragraphs seem to only be dealt with in styles, and the Formatting window for text doesn't seem to have the space after paragraph contrtol that the older Inspector had. What am I missing?

Sorry I did this without looking:
Side panel >Text > Style > Spacing > Turn the triangle > Before Paragraph/After Paragraph/

I just downloaded iOS 7.1 on my iPhone 4s. When I try to enter a new contact in iOS 7.1 I tap on + then on name but no text keyboard springs up to write the name. Where do I find the keyboard ????? Thanks in advance fro some help. I'm new at this.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

When you see the old number come up in the suggested choices look for a blue arrow to the right of the Contact. Tap the blue arrow and then tap Remove from Recents.
