Where does these web services reside???

Hi all !!!
I am damn new to ESOA and Web services concepts....
I am working in PI 7.1. I would like to use the existing web services that are reposited by SAP Labs..But I am unable to find them in My PI 7.1 pack....Actually where do they exists??
How can we use them?? I would like to develop a composite web service with the existing ones.
So experts please help me out !!!
Thnak you in advance
Regards
Pavani

Hi Pavani,
You need to have Enhancement Packages installed on your ERP.
Then you can enable the Enterprise Services from it. You can consume it using any UI tool like WebDynPro etc.
These Web Services reside on SAP ERP.
No ESR of PI 7.1 is required.

  • Where does the iPhoto library reside?

    Where does the iPhoto library reside on your hd?  when I go to the search bar above, it shows 2 libraries!  I am about out of hd space so I am hoping that it has been duplicated somehow.  It's about 36GB. =)
    Thanks for your help!
    MK

    By default it's in your Pictures Folder.
    If space is an issue you can move the Library to an external disk:
    Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

  • APEX JS libraries - From where does these are getting loaded

    Hi All,
    In every page I can see APEX is loading following JS libraries.
    <script src="/i/javascript/apex_ns_3_1.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="/i/javascript/apex_3_1.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="/i/javascript/apex_get_3_1.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="/i/javascript/apex_builder.js" type="text/javascript"></script>I was thinking these must be specified in the page template, but it's not the case! Could you tell from where does these are getting loaded?
    Thanks,
    Hari

    They are included by the #HEAD# substitution string in the page template.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14373_01/appdev.32/e11838/themes.htm#sthref1670
    This substitution includes the standard APEX CSS and JS references and the contents of the page HTML Header property. From APEX 3.1, the standard CSS/JS can be suppressed using the Include Standard CSS and JavaScript HTML Header property.

  • (261936172) Q general Where are the Web Service source files?

    Q <general> Where are the source files for a Web Service created
    with WebLogic Workshop stored? How do I deploy the Web Service
    on a different WebLogic Server? Is there a way to bundle the
    Web Service project files manually to distribute them?
    Is there a way to configure the directory where Workshop stores
    the files?
    ANSWER: (by Adam Fitzgerald, [email protected]) The .jws files are stored
    in the project folder. This can be located on a local system, although by default
    they are in c:\bea\wlserver700b\sample\workshop\applications. The Web Service
    structure is understood by WLS 7.0 so by archiving the appropriate folder you
    can transfer the Web Service in its entirety from one deployment to another.

  • Does WL70 Web Service Support Sessions?

    Does anybody know how to make WL70 Web Service support sessions?
    The "javax.xml.rpc.session.maintain" property on Stub does not seem to work.
    Without session support, it is almost no use for us because we have to authenticate
    the user each time.
    Thanks in advance.
    - Hao

    It is just not working for me. I am using static stub.
    After tracking the HTTP traffic, I found that the WL70 server is not issuing any
    cookie. I have configured all the parameters for tracking session in the web application,
    but I still don't see any cookie in the HTTP headers from the server. I also tried
    to invoke the service using a browser, still no cookie seen. Is this a bug or
    there is some other configuration for the server?

  • Where does the song metadata reside (cover art work and other information)?

    I edit the metadata for each album/song - add cover art, correct any album name or artists erros, make some notes to myself to help search/browse. Where does this data reside - with the song file or the library file or somewhere else? BTW I don't download the cover artwork from iTunes. I just find it online and copy and paste it into the metadata window. I have too many obscure albums to rely on iTunes.
    The reason I ask is because I double backup my music and iTunes files. Normally, when I rip new albums I just add the new files and updated library files to me backup hard drives, by sorting by the modified date. But I'm now going back and editing all of my oder albums/songs metadata as I just described. In order to make sure this information gets backed up I'm simply backing up the entire iTunes Music folder, which takes all night cause it's around 500GBs. But I'd prefer to only add the modified files to the backup, which usually only takes a few moments.
    When I sort by modified date the albums/songs I edited metadata for do not show up as modified that day. So, is it pointless to always backup the entire folder when all I have to do is back up what was modified? And if so, what are those files?
    Also, is there a good app that will compare two hard drives and keep them in synch? So that I can basically do what I want to do automagically? Set one as the master and one as the backup, and ahve the app always synch the backup to the master. That would be nice!

    If you're not downloading artwork from iTunes, all of the tags and artwork are stored with the individual song files. Some iTunes-specific data, like play count and rating, are stored in the iTunes Library database file.

  • Where does the View Controller reside ?

    Hi Gurus,
    Some basic doubts : I can't see the View and Window Controllers in SE80 . Where does it reside ? or it can only be reffered through code.
    Thanks in advance

    The controllers can be accessed only by code, calling the wd_get_api on the wd_this, wd_comp_controller attributes.
    Ofcourse, you can check the interface methods etc of  if_wd_view_controller in se24.

  • Where to deploy Web Service Proxy

    I have built a web service proxy, now I need to decide where to deploy it. It will be invoked by an inegration process.
    My choices are:
    (1) Our main PI integration server. This is HA and UNIX based, and is the "big, robust" box with lots of resources.
    (2) Our PI remote adapter engine. This is a lightweight Windows-based box that is not HA, used mainly for PI to access windows file shares.
    I am assuming I should deploy to (1). But since this is where the integration process is running (which is the client to the web service proxy), is there any reason they should not be on the same box? I thought a read a help doc that said to not install a (web service? java?) proxy on the main integration server, but I can't find the reference now. Wasn't sure if a deadlock scenario was possible, like when one web service calls another web service on the same web server, and there is heavy load.
    Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
    RBL

    Hi Robert,
       Although i do not have an exact answer, i'm just thinking out loud.
    Since the integration processes run on the ABAP stack of the XI system and you would be deploying your webservice on the Java stack of the system, i do not foresee any dead lock situation as such.
    ANyways, i will wait with you for the experts to comment.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Why does my web service web.xml reference a class that is not a servlet?

    In jDeveloper 10.1.3, I created the simplest web service I could think of. I created a HelloWorld class that has one method that accepts a name as a parameter and returns "Hello " + name. Using the wizards, I was able to get it to run just fine in my development environment. However, if I generate a WAR file and deploy it to Tomcat 5.5, it chokes on the web.xml. Here it is...
    <pre>
    <web-app xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd"
    version="2.4">
    <servlet>
    <description>Web Service MyHelloWorldServiceSoapHttpPort</description>
    <display-name>Web Service MyHelloWorldServiceSoapHttpPort</display-name>
    <servlet-name>MyHelloWorldServiceSoapHttpPort</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>com.dex.b2b.HelloWorld</servlet-class>
    <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>MyHelloWorldServiceSoapHttpPort</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>MyHelloWorldServiceSoapHttpPort</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    </web-app>
    </pre>
    The servlet-class value is my simple HelloWorld class, not a servlet. How is this suppose to run, if the servlet-class value is not a servlet? It certainly did not run in Tomcat 5.5. I can't get it to run on Oracle App Server 10.1.2 either.
    Thanks

    Async process can be fire and forget, meaning you don't ever want to response from the client. You can also have a response that will return in any time in the future.
    A human task is an example of this. You create a work list for someone. The BPEL process waits for the person to either accept or reject.
    The beauty of calling a BPEL process is that this is managed out of the box. If you are doind some bespoke development then you may need to use correlation sets.
    cheers

  • Where is the Web Service fault in the WSDL definition?

    Hi all,
    I have created a Web Service out of function module, using the SAP standard wizard. The creation went fine, I can receive the WSDL file via the SOAMANAGER application. But: In this WSDL file it seems that the Web Service faults (i.e. the exceptions of the underlying function module) are not part of the "wsdl:operation" definition (even if they and their format are defined in that file).
    Is that a bug or do I miss something here?
    How are the faults integrated in the response definition of the service?
    Thanks in advance for your help!
