Hi Friends,
I've JDk1.5 and Tomcat installed on my system,I am going through some servlet tutorials and i need to run them.So,i guess i need to have servlet.jar file in my classpath.Can someone tell me where from can i install that?I have this link

But,I dont want the whole J2EE download,i just need a customized installation or just this file.Please help.

If the page you linked does not work then it should so what happens when you try? It is possible that it might be a simple matter of you enabling cookies or trying another web browser.

you have to put your serlet class file in
Tomcat\webapps\
Here create a directory as you wish
then, Tomcat\webapps\your directory\WEB-INF\classes
and you have to copy web.xml to WEB-INF directoy.

Hi James,
8.5 is way past it's end of life so not much info or samples available any more. We did not have much Java support in that version and what we did have should be installed with the Developer version. Look in the Program Files, Seagate Software, Viewers folder. There should be a java viewer jar file there. The help file should also have Java help info.
If you don't have the developer version I suggest you upgrade to the latest version. Java has become a large part of CR and the functionality has expanded considerably.
