Where has "google search" and "back page" gone?

Headline says it all. No longer can return to previous page. The Google Search was invaluable. It has disappeared too.

Hi..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that didn't help, back to the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences > Privacy
Click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.

Hello experts,
In the past I helped implement our CRM 3.0 and 4.0 systems. At the time we had some very helpful guides (.pdf) which allowed us to configure the basic exchanges between R/3 and CRM. They were called:
Implementation and Configuration Step by Step
Setup and Load Guide
We are now going through a new CRM 7.0 fresh install and I am looking for those very same guides but updated for CRM 7.0.
At first someone pointed us to the building block guides "http://help.sap.com/saap/sap_bp/CRM_701_XX/Html/index.htm" but those do not appear to be the same content from what I recall in the older versions. They look to help you establish a quick "default" type system even telling you values to plug in. This was very different from the older versions where it explained step by step how to connect to R/3 and pull in values.
Someone then told us that "those guides are in Solution Manager now" but not being overly knowledgeable in SOLMAN I cannot seem to find a way to locate them.
Even in IMG in CRM 7.0 we see several references specifically saying "CRM Setup and Download Guide".
Can someone please help me locate the latest versions of those guides.

Thank you for your response. You are the second person to mention "Solution Manager documentation" as a way to obtain such information. Can you elaborate on how you go about obtaining that type of information through Solution Manager?
We were given guidance to find such documentation through the "accelerator tab" under Project Scope -> Roadmap but we are unable to find that tab.
Please advise if that was what you might be referring to or something else.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.

How can I simply synchronize Search and Edit pages in JDeveloper 11g?
In JDeveloper 10g I used <br>1) at Search side: SetActionListener with From:#{row.PkField}
To:#{processScope.someVar}<br>
2) at Page Definition of Edit side: action setCurrentRowWithKeyValue Value:#{processScope.someVar} plus invokeAction which binds setCurrentRowWithKeyValue Refresh: ifNeeded
RefreshCondition: ${adfFacesContext.postback==false} This doesn’t work in 11g.

I have tried this video and it can be very helpful, but in my situation search and edit pages are based on two different View objects. Then i tried another blog entry http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/2009/11/passing_value_between_pages_to.html , but I don't have ExecuteWithParams action in view object of Edit page because my query doesn't contain Bind Variable. Doing the same way but with setCurrentRowWithKeyValues doesn't work.

When I click on a result of a Google search and then go that web site, the Back button on the toolbar is grayed out and I cannot return to the search results.

When using FF3.6 and making a Google search, when I click on a result and then go that web site, the Back button on the toolbar is grayed out and I cannot return to the search results without going to History. This does not happen all the time; about 1/2 of the time.
This problem is not limited to Google, but occurs with other sites as well.

If you are talking about searches from - http://www.google.com/ - are you logged into a Google account all the time? If so, check your "Search Settings" from the "gear" in the upper-right corner of that Google search page and see if you have '''Open search results in a new browser window.''' check-marked, at the bottom of that preferences page. When that is check-marked and you have Tab options in Firefox set to '''Open new windows in a new tab instead''', you will get search results always opening in a new tab instead of the same tab. As to why that works different for "sponsored links" I don't know, I haven't seen the "sponsored links" for years now, I have a GM script that blocks those advertisements.

How do I get my google search bar back in the middle of my page insead of the Blank searh engine that is on my start up page now

Before I did the last upgrade with Firefox, I had the Google search bar in the middle of my start page. Now , after the upgrade, my Google search bar is up on a tool bar at top of the page and the when you type something in the large Firefox box in the middle of the page does nothing even though it has the Search box to the right of it. The restore last session is under that. I just have a large box in the middle of start page that does nothing. I wish that was my Google search box again.

What you are looking at on the web page is a '''search form''', not a search bar. Mozilla changed the default home page to '''about:home''' which is supposed to be faster because it is on your computer, but they piled on a few ornaments. There is a space which is essentially advertising space for Mozilla, or to tell you that you have a previous session available below the search form area.
You can replace that page with a real Google Search page http://www.google.com which like other Google pages has links at the top to other Google applications and tells you if you are logged into Google such as for GMail.

Since 20mins ago my search bar has disappeared in Safari!
I now only have an address bar?
I have tried to customise and also ~/library/preferences/ as described in one of the other posts but to no avail.
How frustrating!

This is not the Safari forum. What version of Safari are you using? If 6.0 then the Google search at the right is gone. Replaced by a single search / url address search. If 5.17, View>Customize Toolbar.
