Where has the eject button gone??!!

After upgrade 8 the eject button at the bottom right of itunes has been replaced with some stupid sidebar button!
I used the eject button a lot.

I used it mostly for closing the drawer on my external drive.
I cant do this with the shortcuts.
After I pressed burn I pressed eject with the mouse to close the drive.
Now I have to use my button on the drive.
It just frustrating.

iTunes 7 is pretty smart overall, nevertheless I have a few serious gripes with the interface. Firstly the little 'snowflake' icon on the bottom right that switches on the visuals has been replaced by the browse and burn icons. Was there a problem with the previous layout? My wife and I use that button everytime we turn on the visuals on our Mac Mini sound system in the living room. It was super convenient because you could move in a single mouse sweep from selecting a playlist to switching on visuals. With iTunes 7 you have to either select from the pop-down menu or switch to the keyboard and press cmd+T. It might not seem such a big deal to some but it's definitely a backwards step, no matter how small.
The album art selector/display is very cool and niftily programmed however I'll never use it. The reason? Because if you fill it with album artwork, all those images are displayed over the visualiser at the start of each tune, which I HATE. I don't want sleeve designs ruining the beauty of G-Force which I paid good money to see. It's bad enough having the track info show when I already know what's playing! iTunes 7 is simply not configurable enough if you ask me, and hey, you shouldn't have to start configuring Fkeys to make up for the fundemental lack of choice in the program preferences.
I have a pal who loves the gapless playback in the new iTunes 7 because it's great for mix cds. Well maybe that's the best playback feature of iTunes 7 but I'm afraid it doesn't make up for the loss of the visualiser button, so there!

Since I have downloded the new version of itunes the button to turn the visuliser on has gone you now have to click on view then goto the visuliser option. Ok not the end of the world but why have they taken this away.. Also I have found that it takes ages to download anything now from itunes... What has happened

Where has the Genius Button Gone in iTunes 11?

I have found out how to start a playlist from a specific song or album etc by right clicking but I want the single press button back, I love Genius I use this more than any other feature, if I hear a song I like I just hit genius easy, Pleas Please Please do not tell me it has been removed.

Ok man, Im not try'n to hate but whats the difference? Is the one extra click and half second really interfearing with the overall experience?
Besides, the new 'up next' set up is way more user freindly, easier to customize, and flows better than the old set up. With the old set up as soon as you clicked the genius button you got trapped under the genius sidebar heading, in order to adjust the playlist you had to switch back and forth between that and the library heading.
Furthermore, with the implementation of a third party app you could probably set up a custom 'hot key' or 'trigger' to activate the genius feature with a keystroke.
On the otherhand mind you, they found time to make space for the totally useless 'cloud' icon near the top left, so why not at least have the option for a genius button? Im more choked that you cant change the gridview background to 'dark' - or how about the fact that genius, albeit great, never gets better as far as track mixing.

Where has the "rotate" button gone??

I have recently updated my IPad and now I don't see the rotate button that used to be on the top bar. Am I missing something?
I see it in Images of the new Mini ( In the numerous ads I am getting sent to my inbox).

Hi Garibeet, It looks like you are trying to edit photos from your 'Photo Stream' tab from the top. You should see at the top, 'Photos', 'Photo Stream', 'Album', 'Places'. If you are trying to rotate photos from photo stream, then you will need to save it to your camera roll first. Then go to photos, find the image that you've saved, then the edit button should be available.

Where has the Bookmark button gone, that shows ALL bookmarks as a dropdown?

I have had to reinstall my OS, and now with Firefox I don't see the big 'Bookmarks' button I had to the right of the Google search box.
This is with icons set to 'Icons'.
I use to be able to click 'Bookmarks' and they'd appear in a dropdown, like the "Latest News" feed operates.
I can click on Bookmarks button (with the star on it), but that just opens a side pane - not a dropdown that disappears when I've clicked it.

Also note that it only shows the bookmarks menu button if you are using the Firefox menu button and not the classic menu bar, as it would be quite redundant to have both a button and the bookmarks menu up top that did the exact same thing.
Look at what you have in the toolbar and what's in the customize window (you may need to scroll down). If you have one in the toolbar then the other is probably in the customize window somewhere. If you have a lot of addons installed there may be lots of buttons to look through.
If you have trouble you could just click the "Restore Default Set" button in the customize dialog to reset all your toolbars to the defaults which will also involve putting the bookmarks button you want there. If you had any other customizations to your toolbars you could then change them back again.

Where has the bounce button gone?

I downloaded OSX 10.7 Lion yesterday and noticed today that teh "bounce" button has disappeared from Mail. I used it about once a day and really found it useful. Anyone know if it is there please? AP

Current Outlook does not have a bounce function. Neither does Thunderbird or Mozilla Mail. Any software developer who provides such a function is considered irresponsible. See:

If you have it turned on it is now under the music section on the top where you have Songs, Albums etc. It is on the far right next to Match.
If you cannot see it then Preferences and Tick Radio Option
If it is still npt there the Preferences, Parental and untick Disable Radio

Where has the preview panel gone is Bridge CS5?

Today when I opened up Bridge, the preview panel on the right hand side has disappeared. It shows as being selected when I go to the Window Menu but it isn't there. The scroll bar is also missing so I can't view all of the thumbnails. Does anyone have any ideas about why this has happened and how I can return it to it's normal format? Thanks, Michelle.
