Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

Upgraded to Firefox 23 and now my yahoo bookmarks don't have the option to open all tabs in a folder. How can I do this.

The option to open all tabs in a folder is not available any more on my yahoo toolbar. On this computer and my home computer which I just upgraded to firefox 23 and that option disappeared. I need to open all tabs in a folder at one.

I haven't explored the Yahoo! toolbar in detail, but it was just updated recently. I noticed the description "new user interface" on the versions page. You also can use that page to re-install the earlier version and see whether the missing function returns.

Will the next version restore the very useful "Bookmark all tabs" option? This was the closest Firefox feature to Opera's "save session" option; I can't believe it was taken away.

Sometimes FF has crashed and lost its "memory" of the tabs I had opened. I want to have a backup in case that happens, so I know what tabs I had up and can restore them.

I used to be able to save all opened tabs as a bookmark group.

Newest version did not have option to 'bookmark all tabs'

I have used Firefox for years and love it. Recently updated from 3.6.24 to a newer version....8 something, I think. It did not offer 'bookmark all tabs' which I use regularly. Almost daily I have multiple pages open with info. I want to refer to again so need to bookmark all of them.
I then did a search and found a site where I could dl the older version of Firefox, 3.6.24. Then today I dl'd version 3.6.25. Checked immediately for the bookmark all tabs option and it was there. But also got a message saying that was an older version and recommended I update to version 9 something.
I would be happy to do that IF it has all the options I now have, especially the bookmark all tabs.

where the option to hide all my profile information to contacts only? i just had someone look up my facebook page somehow and then link a picture of me from there. i'm actually pretty pissed off about this as it can't even get rid of my facebook link in the profile. is there an option that hides everything?

Your profile information cannot be completely hidden as it is used in the Skype directory so that people can actually find you. Similar to a phone directory. Some options are statically public. If you do not want that information to be public it would be best to keep it blank. My profile on all my accounts remain as blank as can be. If people need to find me in the directory I provide them with my Skype name or e-mail address. To view your profile information and edit it just press "Ctrl - I" while in Skype. It is less restrictive than editing your profile on the website.

Where is the option to close multiple tabs? It used to be a Right Click in the "List All Tabs" function. Now it's gone!

Well I figured out how to get the Tab Bar back where it should, down below where you can easily get to it, but now I see that the "Close All Other Tabs" option which used to be in the right click menu of the "List All Tabs" arrow has disappeared.
Is there anyway to get that back? This design change is really not as good as 3.5. Also tell that person to slow down. Who can understand what he's saying?

In Firefox 4 the Tab Bar is a regular toolbar and that causes the toolbar context menu to show if you right click.
You can right click the tab that you want to keep to "Close Other Tabs"

Is there an option to bookmark all tabs in Firefox 4? There was in earlier versions but it is missing on my system at least since I upgraded.

In Firefox 3.6.17 there was an option Ctrl, Shift, D to bookmark all currently open tabs since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 this option has vanished. I used this every week to take a snapshot of open tabs. I don't know if this is how Firefox is supposed to be or just an error in my installation of it as I don't have any other computers with Firefox 4 on to check against.

The option to save all tabs does not appear to work in ver 4. the promt is missing at sut down. How is this corrected?

In ver 3.6 there was a prompt at shut down to save tabs. It seems that option is gone in ver 4. How can I fix this?

Where has the "Show more bookmarks" arrow on the end of the Bookmarks Toolbar gone?

On previous versions of Firefox, when the window width is less than the amount required to show all your bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar, you had a drop-down "Show more bookmark" arrow at the end of the toolbar to reveal them.
However, in this new beta it's gone, and I can't find anywhere to bring this functionality back.
(On the machine I'm writing this on, it still has Firefox 3 so I can see this feature, however on my Macbook Pro I've installed the latest version of the beta version, and it's not there)

Some themes still keep it visible. FXChrome 5 for example. But by default, not sure. Can't seem to find any reference to it either in terms of userChrome.css

Where has the line that showed all my add-on icons gone to?

I have add-ons for no-script, screengrab, and forecastbar. Until yesterday, they all displayed icons (or actual weather info) on a line just above the bottom Microsoft line and at the very bottom of the browser. Now they've disappeared. Noscript shows as "options" first time I get to a page, but never displays status (names of scripts allowed, etc.) and won't display once I've set. Screen grab icon and weather info have completely disappeared. I've tried reinstalling, but it makes no difference. The only thing I've done in the last day is install the latest version of Adobe Flash. How do I get this back

I tried the toggle of view/not view and it makes no difference. I tried safe mood of firefox (ver 3.68) (firefox -safe-mode). No difference! Strange thing though, four other of my Windows 7 machines exhibit no such ill affects.

Where´s the option: "apply to all itens of this type...."

I need to deselect all "show mouse click" but I´m not found "apply to all itens of this type" in the properties panel. What´s happens? Is not present in 5.5 version? Thanks

Since the new update with Maverick, the page has gone so my ipad isn't syncing Calendars and its Contacts have been deleted. I back up to computer and not ICloud

Couldn't agree more.
Typical Apple "Here's a free update to Mavericks but we're not going to tell you that it mucks up syncing contacts via mac" they just let you find out the hard way, after you have a problem perhaps.
I did notice in iTunes there was a tab missing but didn't realise what it was till my son had a problem getting back his contacts as he's not on the cloud.
What else I wonder will just not appear when required.

I just upgraded to Aperture 3.3.1 and the setting to set the white balance to a certain temperature in K has gone...

Set the drop-down selector in the ""White Balance" brick to "Temperature & Tint". Then you can set again a color temperature.
