*** where have the ipod classic games gone?

DOes anyone know where the ipod classic games on itunes have gone?

Where have you been these last few years? All iPod clickwheel games were removed from the iTunes Store as of October 2011. Any you still have in your library can be used with a compatible device, but they can no longer be purchased or redownloaded from the store so keep a good backup.

  • Where have the shortcut website links gone?

I know this sounds lame, but where have my icons for websites gone? I guess Firefox updates the browser automatically because I did not update it. And now I log on this morning and my Facebook, Wikipedia, Pandora, etc shortcut icons are gone. I loved having those on my page for quick links. And now it looks like in the update they were all erased.
And the new Facebook extension is too intrusive. I have multiple people who log onto my computer so having all the information on the tool bar will not work for me.
In any case, is there a way to uninstall the latest version of Firefox. It looks like I am working off version 8.0.1.
    HELP!

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

  • IPod Classic games gone from iTunes Store?

Okay, forgive me if this is a dumb question, but after the restyling of the iTunes store, it seems to me that iPod Classic and 5th generation games are gone. I can't find them anywhere, even searching games names like Song Summoner. Did Apple really condemn non-Touch iPods to having no new games?

In iTunes 9, go to the iTunes Store, move your cursor over "App Store", click the arrow that appears, and then click the third option - iPod games.

  • Okay ive been under a rock for some time now.. and Where did all the iPod classic games go??

  • Where have the CSV bill reports gone?

I download my quarterly bill in CSV format as some calls are claimed back from an employer.  Since the change of the website I cannot find where the CSV download option has gone to.  Can someone please direct me to it?

    Hi AndrewD,
    Welcome to the forum!
CSV files are available for the calls on the current bill only. To get to it:
    - View your most recent bill;
    - Click on ‘What you used’ on the navigation menu on the left of the page;
    - Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the text link (‘Download Data’) is for the CSV file;
    - Click on the text link to start the CSV download.
    All the best,

  • Where have the original beautiful pictures gone?

    Hi!
I seem to have lost the pictures originally provided with the iMac and/or OS X Tiger. Where were/are these pictures stored? If deleted by accident: can I restore them one way or the other?
I got my iMac five days ago and started working with it since the day before yesterday. I could find beautiful pictures already available on it. I was very glad with these pictures, but infortunately I seem to be unable to find them again (or maybe I deleted them by accident...?).
Who can help me to find them back or to get them back?
Thanks in advance for helping me out!!!
iMac Intel   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Have a look in:
    HD/Library/DeskTop Pictures/
That is where I found mine just now on this Powerbook. My OS is 10.4.8 Your version may be different and may put them elsewhere. I doubt it.
One of the pics that form the wallpaper is "Aqua Blue.jpg".
You could use finder to look for that. I found the location by using finder to look for the extension "jpg".
If it is some other pictures you mean then there are many of them serving various purposes in the OS and the bundled software. My 'jpg' finds alone were about 1500.
The pretty background pictures ought not to dissapear. You might have swapped a picture of (say) the clown fish for a plain vanilla tone, by accident in System Prefernces. Go into the 'Desktop' pane of System Preferences and check what options it has and change if desired (try this first), alway assuming you have not wiped them. If you have, all I can suggest is you reinstall the OS and update a drastic solution. I doubt if 'Pacificst' will be able to pick the pics out of the install package.
You could use pics of yourself, but your friends might get cheezed off. Sys Prefs can use any file in a folder in non 'hidden places on the disk'.

  • In Mail, where have the pull down menus gone?

On the previous Mail, I would use the pull down menu to access "Take all accounts Offline", for example.  Now, after a recent update, there are no pulldown menus.

    Thanks a lot, Michael.
Now I wonder why these changes are seen as improvements.  What was an easy to use program became one where I needed an instruction book.  Seems like a step backwards to me.  Not blaming you of course.  Thanks for coming to my rescue.

  • Where have the psb file previews gone with PS CC?

I've just worked on a large 16 bit image file in PS CC and saved it as a 4Gb .psb file and now I no longer see a preview in the OS or Bridge, just a PS icon. This is a major issue for me as I work with large files all the time and therefore have to save layered psb files on a daily basis. The lack of previews now when working with PS CC is more than an inconvenience. With CS6 I get psb previews ok.
Any ideas? I tested two systems running Snow Leopard and latest Mountain Lion to no avail. I also already tried removing all caches, ran utilities to clean and repair permissions etc.
Is this a bug in PS CC?
Any helpful suggestions would be most welcome but I will reluctantly be going back to CS6 until this is solved.
    Cheers
    Morgan

Thanks. I have now posted the question there. I have found yet more bugs in the last few mins using PS CC so I will keep relaying my findings as I feel like a beta tester already. Oh joy.

  • Where have the headers and footers gone?

    Hello,
I am opening some old spreadsheets in Numbers and the headers are missing. They dont magically appear when i print the doc either.
I can see the headers and footer when I do a "quickview" of the file, but when I open it, they arent there and I can not find an option to view them.
    Any help? Thank you.

    Hi Andrew,
Though Numbers 3 currently doesn't have page headers, there are some workarounds that can achieve the effect of having headers (though, for footers, you're limited to page number).  See this in Print Preview:
You can set up extra Header Rows in your table and have them repeat on each printed page. The Table Name only shows on the first printed page, so you may want to uncheck Table Name before printing:
See this thread for an example of how this workaround worked for one user.

  • I have an ipod classic. My library is or was on my PC but I no longer have it. All I have now is my ipod on it. Can I (and how) transfer the content from my ipod onto my new PC

I have the ipod Classic. My original library was on my old PC which I no longer have. Is it possible and if so - how? to transfer my libray from my ipod onto my new PC

There's a 3rd party program called copy trans suite that I use to move files from my ipod to my itunes library and/or my pc.  I bought it because my itunes library had become damaged and the only copy I had of it was on my classic.  Since then I've regularly backed up my itunes libary to prevent it from happening again.

  • Where have the 'how to' file upload docs gone?

I am coming back to APEX after a bit (like when it used to be HTMLDB) and all of my links are broken. Where have the HOW TO documents gone? I need to add a page to an application where users can upload an image.
    This link no longer works:

Sounds like this is what you're after:

  • I have an ipod classic where the screen lights up but is completely blank so am not able to access any music, playlist or menu etc.Any idea how to fix this

I have an Ipod Classic and currently the screen lights up but no information appears - just a blank back lit screen.Any ideas how to rectify or is it beyond saving?

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:
