WHere have the songs disappeared to???? Help
Hi, just got my spanking new 60G Ipod.
Have spent the wkend ripping my CDs and tranferred to them to the IPOD via home PC.
Now have venture to install itunes on another laptop to further rip more CDs. However when connect the IPOD to the (2nd)PC, all the prev songs- about 5GB is not able to see in the IPOD. Instead the new 2GB of songs is only available.
Is this common? where can i find my prev songs in the IPOD? Although I can still see that the total available HD space is about 53GB which means all the songs are still in the HD?
Any cure?? Advise??
actually, there is only 2gb of file on the hd. 60 gb is only 55gb(differeces in file sizes). if you want to be able to see all the music on your ipod when hooking it up to different computers, you have to turn auto sync off on both, or else when you plug it in, it will delete all previous files and replace with the ones you have set on that computer. let us know if you need to know how to turn off auto sync.

Where have the favicons disappeared to in Safari 8.0?
I am simply asking where the favicons have disappeared to in Safari 8.0
OK, your are looking for "Add to Reading List" button.
It is available by default but hidden.
Move the mouse pointer to the very left in the Safari address bar, a "+" sign in a circle will appear.
Click it to add an item to Reading list. -
I have an iPod touch 4g. It's white I just got it a week ago. It had iOS 5.0.1 for default. I could get music on my iPod with syncing it from my pc. I have already uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling as well as putting my iPod in dfu mode (hold power and home button). I need help please
If you have not taken the iPod apart, Apple will exchange it for a refurbished one for $99. You can do it an an Apple store

I have an iPod nano version 1.0.4. I've created playlists on my iTunes and copied songs into them. But whenever I sync my iPod nano, the songs disappear from the playlists. They stay in the main library, however. Does anybody know of a way to keep them from disappearing from my playlists?
It's a plain old playlist (with a folder icon next to it). One more fact to complicate things. I just had my hard drive replace under a recall from Apple. Before I replaced it, plain old playlists worked fine.
But I may have just solved the problem. When I was having the problem, I was creating the playlists by going into the "File" tab and clicking "New Playlist Folder". This time I clicked the + sing in the lower left hand corner of the iTunes window. Instead of a file folder icon, there's now a musical note. And the songs now seem to be staying. I'll also play with the smart playlists and see if that help too. Thanks B-Rock for inspiring me to explore a bit more.

Why is it that whenever I download a song from itunes that a small grey button appears next to the song (apparently this is the download progress) but whenever I hit it to resume, the song disappears. I am getting annoyed with having to copy the songs manually onto my phone. Thanks for anyones help. Cheers
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items. -
I wiped my ipod classic and then my computer crashed, so i no longer have the songs i purchsed from itunes on my ipod or computer! I have a new computer now with itunes installed, can I get the songs purchased previously from itunes somehow?
Yes, you can!(:
STEP 1: Open iTunes
STEP 2: Navigate to the "iTunes Store". It can be found under the "STORE" tab.
STEP 3: On the right side of the store there should be a "Quick Links" Section. Click on the "Purchased" link.
STEP 4: Navigate to the "Music" tab and click on "All Songs". Then at the bottom of the screen there will be a button that says "Download All". Click the button and your songs will be begin downloading!
NOTE: This will only work with songs that you bought from the iTunes store, if you imported them from a CD, you will have to do it again.
NOTE: You can also do this with Apps, Movies, TV Shows, and Books.
NOTE: You may have to sign in with your Apple ID to verify the download.
Hope this helped! Enjoy your music!(: -
I deleted songs in my iphone on the music app but when I sync with the computer the songs disappear. How can I delete songs on my phone but keep them in iTunes?
I use iTunes Match so I can't confirm this on my computer (my Music tab looks different), but as I recall, on the Music tab you have the option to check to sync selected playlists, artists and genres, and then check which playlists you want to sync below that. Then, like songs, you would uncheck the playlists you don't want on your phone and sync to remove them.

I can't figure out how to get the music on my iPhone5s to shuffle. If I use the arrows to skip a song, it shuffles through a handful of the same songs then goes back to the song menu. Help please!
Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

Why do my new songs show up with a duplicate to download from Itunes when I already have the song
Recently I;ve noticed a lot of duplicates showing up in my library, they have the cloud icon next to them indicating I have the song waiting to be downloaded but I already have the song. Once upon a time, we could isolate duplicate songs in our library and delete them. Why is this happening? How do I stop it? Will I lose both if I delete the "cloud" one?
Go to preferences.Go to store .UNCHECK show itunes in cloud purchases.Click OK.I had this happen.you should not lose your songs.I did not lose mine.I believe you are merely hiding the cloud song from view.Did you "bite"at the pop-up to update itunes software.I did. That may be the culprit.

Where have the charts gone in iTunes 11?
In genereal I like iTunes 11 but I can't find any top 10 charts for music, movies, TV shows apps or books! Where have the charts gone?
Thanks Poikkeus but I still can't find it! I assume you're referring to the music pulldown menu? There's no Charts selection in there. Maybe it's different for iTunes Australia?
