Where in the name of crust is all my iPad stuff?

I recently installed the ios update on my ipad, and before doing that , i made a backup and saved it to my computer. After installing the update, it asked me if i wanted to start with a fresh ipda or to restore from i backup, and i chose the backup. After it installed, the ipad was empty. It didnt have any of my previous apps, or music. The only thing it seemed to install from the backup is my contacts, my e-mail logins, and my notes in teh notes app. Where the **** is everything else? I have a midterm due tomorrow that i have been working on in the "Pages" app, and i already had about 11 pages written in it, and now the app is not there, and if i simply download it again, it obviously wont have my work in it.

The backup does not contain your apps nor media content. You now have to sync your apps, music, etc. back from your computer or redownload them from the iTunes Store.

but I made all automatic with UIX, I need that the link when I listing this colum, don't say a fixed name, I want that this link save the file with the original file name. 2 things, maybe when the file was saved, the info about the original name not was saved too, or the method that write the link, don't use this name, only a fixed name.

I once used a multi-pane interface where I could browse absolutely all authors by genre and sub-genre.
Unable to find how I got there.

Where is the name?

Hi I imported some music from Cds. While I was doing that, I wrote the song name and the artist name instead of the track name, but when I play them, the name doesn´t show in the iTunes only I can find it in the file itself.. What can I do to make this names show in iTunes

If I understand your question correctly, You edited the track information before you ripped the CD, but put the information in the wrong fields.
If that is the problem then, for each track you ripped from the CD, do "Get Info" in the iTunes Tracks window. Hopefully the information you wrote is in there somewhere, just not in the place where iTunes looks for it. For each track, you will need to do the same thing, putting the information in the correct fields.

How can I change the name of my computer on my iPad?

Since I performed a clean install of Mavericks on my iMac, the computer-name changed a couple of times unexpectedly.
Now, I end up with one of the previous names to be recognized by my iPad instead of the correct one.
So, a WiFi-sync is no longer possible.
Is there a way to change the computer-name on my iPad to the correct one?

Where is the movie I just rented on my IPad? I can't find it.

I downloaded a movie from the ITunes app on my IPad. Now I cannot find the movie to view it on my Ipad. Where is it? I hope someone can help me out. This is pretty embarrassing.

The videos app is on one of your home screens (it could have been placed in a folder). You can also launch it from the spotlight search. When you launch Videos, select the Rentals category at the top of the screen.

Can't address the problem directly, cause even though my iPad4 is Cell+Wi-Fi, I've never put a SIM in it and never had the need to text, SMS or iMessage, from it. When away from the office or home wireless network, I tether it off the iPhone. Skype, both text and video, work just fine thru the Wi-Fi link, though.
HOWEVER, when I was hashing out the contract details to get the iPhone 5 about 14 months ago at Telcel, the representative distinctly mentioned that both Visual Voicemail as well as iMessages would be included in the package and they would be mandatory cause "I was getting a (subsidized) Apple iPhone" on a 24 month leash. Then when the gizmo came out of its box for SIM installation and activation, she went thru the motions of making sure both were working properly. So I assume the carrier has some say in the matter.

I can't find my Favourites on Firefox, where is the icon? I imported all my favourites when I downloaded the program.

Where does the name space prefix come from

When I test my mapping in the Integration Builder both my mapping type and my name space get prefixed with nsX (ie ns1, ns2, etc). How can I tell in advance was the X value will be?

Hi Patrick,
there is no possibility.
According to the XML namespace declaration the prefixes are just internal aliases with no external meaning.
E.g. <ns1:abc xmlns:ns1="http://www.sap.com" /> and
<iLikeLongPrefixes xmlns:iLikeLongPrefixes ="http://www.sap.com" /> are totally equivalent according to the XML namespace specification.
Therefore, everyone (human or machine) who produces a program can choose the prefixes as he wants. Moreover, he may change the rules for creating these prefixes without being incompatible.
Consequently, the namespace prefixes should not be important for you.

Check the sleeve the CD/DVD came in for the SN, I never had a problem. When I purchased the LR3 upgrade from LR2 I chose a hard copy not a download. On the CD sleeve was the SN, and after installing and opening for the first time LR3 prompted for the new SN (not the same as the LR2 SN). As I recall, this was the process. Install, open, enter the SN. This resulted in 2 versions of LR available to me; LR2 and LR3. I found the process painless and fast. Subsequently I downloaded updates to LR3.

Where is the easy answer for getting all music, purchased or not, from the nano to my itunes library again?

I can't believe that Apple doesn't have a way for Nano owners to put their music on their Nano
back on their pc's in the itunes library after it is erased by their 14 year old son!! I have a music
collection on there, purchased and from CD's, and I want it back on my pc too to make playlists.
