Where is 11.5.2.602 msi???

I registered for a distribution license for shockwave player and got the link in my email. When I go to the URL the full EXE installer and the slim EXE installer are version 11.5.2.602 but the link that downloads the MSI installer is version 11.5.1.601?  What is going on? I require the MSI to push to my environment using SCCM. I've spent numerous hours on the phone with customer service, technical support and umpteen supervisors. Why can't anyone give me the link for the 11.5.2.602 MSI installer? I don't see the big deal, this is a FREE product. If this post doesn't solve my problem I am going to be forced to uninstall shockwave on all of my systems to avoid the vulnerability in the previous version.

What's a few more days for an enterprise with many users, when you've been vulnerable since September?

I've been refreshing the forums and checking the distribution page since Tuesday. Still waiting...

Where can I download the iTunes64.msi driver. I can't update my current Itunes without this driver. I can't find it on Microsoft's website or Apple's website.

You can't download the individual .msi files, but they can be extracted from the setup.exe files if required.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)

    Bye,

You dont have to do anything. I gave you a potential suggestion to one solution.
Contact MSI technical and ask them. If the card is under guarantee, they may ask you to send it in and you will probably get a refurbished card.
Your choice to weigh up the costs of sending the card in for repair, buying a new card or considering an aftermarket cooler.

  • Where do I download the crredist*.msi files for Visual Studio 2005 and CR

I've created a VS 2005 application that uses the CR viewer control.  When I run the application, the app generates an error message.  It states that I need to install the appropriate CR redistributable (crredist*.msi).  Shouldn't this file be on the CR cd's?
If not, where do I download it?  The development pc has W7 64 bit.  The user pc's will have WinXP.  I'm using VS 2005 and CR XI R2 Developers Edition.
    Thanks,
    DW

This info was listed in the original post.
Anyway, I found the solution at the link below.
The recommendation is to explicitly target 32 bit processers when building your assemblies. Go to Project Properties, Compile, Advance Settings then change the Target CPU from its default "Any CPU" to "X86." Those of you who have been building VS apps on a 64bit machine for a while are probably familiar with the need to explicitly target X86. This article, "Windows & the World of 64-Bit Computing" (http://www.ddj.com/hpc-high-performance-computing/184405994), has some helpful insights on developing .NET apps on an X64 computer.

  • Where I can buy TPM for MSI Z77A-GD80?

    Hello,
Can you tell me where (some online shop) I can buy TPM (Trusted Platform Module) for MSI Z77A-GD80?
I found only this online shop https://shop.msicomputer.com/App/StoreFront/ProductDetail.aspx?ID=1421 but they cover only USA and Canada. I live in Europe.
One solution is if some forum member who live in Canada or USA will buy that TPM and send me to Europe. Are there any members from Canada or USA? I'll pay you online.

Here is about the only place I could find that may be able to help you.
Read this guys report and then have a look at where he got his stuff from.

  • 11.5.2.602 MSI not deploying with SCCM

I have downloaded the msi and I am trying to install it on our 10,000 stations using sccm.  This normally works just fine.  But this time the program is pushed and all the log files say that it is installed properly.  But if you go to a webpage that uses shockwave you get a message that you need to install the program...  The executable is correct and in the right location C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Shockwave 10\SwInit.exe
If I run the msi locally it installs without any issues.  So I cannot fiqure out why this is happening.  Has anyone else seen this.  We are running XP with sp3 on all of our stations.
    Thanks

your command works.  Our command that we use for everything did not
    RetVal = Shell.Run("msiexec.exe /qn /i sw_lic_full_installer.msi /lime+ c:\temp\sccminstlogs\SWInst.log",0,True)
So I modified your command to this and it works great!  not sure why it needs the /qb-! instead of /qn or /quiet but if failed unless I had the /qb-! command.  So thank you very much!
    RetVal = Shell.Run("sw_11.5.2r602.msi TRANSFORMS=sw_11.5.2r602.mst /qb-! /lime+ c:\temp\sccminstlogs\SWInst.log",0,True)

  • Where can i order/ship an MSI Z68A-G45 (B3) Motherboard here in the Philippines?

Sorry if this isn't the correct Section to post this.
It seems that the MSI Z68A-G45 (B3) Motherboard isn't available to any retailers/resellers here in the Philippines. My question is when will it be Available here? I can't order one from outside the country because it takes time to arrive and it's going to be very expensive for me. I'm not sure if there's an MSI Branch here in the Philippines, if there is one. I don't have any contact number of them. I really want this Motherboard. Thanks

No one you know thats going across to Hong Kong or Taiwan?

I haven't seen any HT capable ones out there. I got mine from Knowledge Micro. They were the only ones at the time that clearly said no HT. At the time there were no HT 655Max  boards out there. MWave also has them.

  • Where to get Reader 9 MSI-file for deployment?

    Hu all,
where can I get the fitting MSI file for deploying Reader 9?
There's only the EXE file from Adobe to get.
    Please help.
    Regards
    Davorin

Well, Adobe support has answered that is an issue of free software and thus not supported.
    Great!
But I think I found a solution by myself:
    After installation there's a directory:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Setup Files
where a msi file is located.
I will try to copy the whole dir and test, if this is enough for deployment.

  • MSI VGA Bios Not available

I ran Sandra last night to pull up sys info. The MSI 9800GT BIO was written in the year 2000. I also know the next comment will be,> what do you think a bios does and why should it be update.
It should be updated to unlock parameters that were not taken into considerations ten years ago.
I have never seen Sandra miss read anything, it has always been on the money, and very conservative in its reply.
Where is the updated BIO for MSI Graphic accelerations?

Where is the updated BIO for MSI Graphic accelerations?
There is no such, the BIOS is not a driver and shall be not updated when everything is working fine.
If need it, it can be provided by MSI Tech.

That VGA is not 10 years old I fail to see how VBIOS can be 10 years old in such case.

  • Missing MSI files SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3

I have hit an issue while installing Service Pack 3 for SQL Server 2008 R2. The existing version is
    10.50.4295.0 (SP2+CU9)
When running the SP3 file the following error occurs
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
The cached MSI file 'C:\Windows\Installer\91a4f43.msi' is missing.
Its original file is 'sql_engine_core_inst.msi' and it was installed for product 'SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Database Engine Services' from '\\ServerName\Share$\SQL\SQL105\ENT\x64\setup\sql_engine_core_inst_msi\', version '10.52.4000.0', language 'ENU'.
To resolve this problem, recover the missing file from the installation media and start setup again.
For more information about how to resolve this problem, see 'Steps to restore the missing Windows Installer cache files' (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=144387) in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
    Error code 0x84B20002.
The next I tried to remove CU9 before applying SP3. The following error occurred when CU 9 was attempted to be removed.
The cached patch file 'C:Windows\Installer\483c7040.msp' is missing.

    Hello Alberto,
    I tried this link
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969052
Using the VB script FindSQLInstall I tried getting some details about the missing MSI files. Just sharing the details incase you may have some details or better insight on what it says.
!!!! C:\Windows\Installer\91a4f43.msi DOES NOT exist in the Installer cache. !!!!
Action needed, recreate or re-establish path to the directory:
\\Servername\Sharename$\SQL\SQL105\ENT\x64\setup\sql_engine_core_inst_msi\then rerun this script to update installer cache and results
The path on the line above must exist at the root location to resolve
this problem with your msi/msp file not being found or corrupted,
In some cases you may need to manually copy the missing file or manually
replace the problem file overwriting it is exist:
          Copy "\\Servername\ShareName$\SQL\SQL105\ENT\x64\setup\sql_engine_core_inst_msi\sql_engine_core_inst.msi" C:\Windows\Installer\91a4f43.msi
It points to a location that doesn’t exist in the central server (servername) from where usually the installation media is present. The folder structures were re-arranged and the path mentioned (\\Servername\ShareName$\SQL\SQL105\ENT\x64\setup\sql_engine_core_inst_msi)
    is no longer there.
Now from where do I copy this particular .MSI file? I've tried using search option but I'm unable to find it.
One more update is that I was successfully able to do the SP3 upgrade on another server which was SQL Server 2008R2 SP2 (No CU on it)
    Hi Jayakrishna,
After your above steps, please put the SQL Server setup media on the same path
\\Servername\Sharename$\SQL, then run the VB script again and it will recreate the MSI file on the path C:\Windows\Installer with the name “91a4f43.msi“.
If the error still occurs, then you can manually restore the missing MSI file following the steps of Procedure 2 in this article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969052 .
In addition, we recommend you use local copy of media to install SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3.
    Thanks,
    Lydia Zhang

  • Diadem V9.1 SP2c - Dataplugin VBOX "*.vob" File - "Racelogic_VBO.uri" - installer - NI-USI.msi

    Hi,
I tried to install the "Racelogic_VBO.uri" Dataplugin in Diadem V9.1/SP2c! During installation there was a message  that "NI-USI.msi" was not found.
In the description there was Diadem V10.0 mentioned as supported Software!?
I've installed "usiUFF58.exe" bevore, but it doesn't work till now!
My OS = WIN XP SP2
    Where can I download NI-USI.msi (1.2.0)?
Will this dataplugin also work with V9.1 ?
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi gunter70,
The Racelogic_VBO DataPlugin says at the download page that it expects DIAdem 10.0 or later, and the UFF58 DataPlugin says at its download page that it expects DIAdem 10.1.  Generally the DataPlugins are posted on the web in the lowest possible DataPlugin version so that the greatest number of DIAdem and LabVIEW installations will be able to use them.  Sometimes the DataPlugin makes use of a feature that was added between DIAdem 9.1 and 10.0 or between 10.0 and 10.1, etc.  In this case we have no choice but to post the DataPlugin in a version that will be incompatible with some DIAdem and LabVIEW installations out there.
NI-USI is the software layer that a DataPlugin "plus into", and it ships with DIAdem, LabVIEW, and CVI (these are NI software products).  When we ship a new version of DIAdem, we ship a new version of USI.  Unlike DIAdem and LabVIEW, where you can have multiple versions installed at the same time on the same computer, NI-USI can only exist in one version on a given computer.  My recommendation to you is to go to www.ni.com/diadem and download the DIAdem 10.1 evaluation version.  You can try out the new features of DIAdem 10.1 if you like (the DataFinder is really cool), but the main reason for installing this is that you will then get version 1.4 of NI-USI.  This latest version of NI-USI will automatically replace your current 1.2 version.  Then even after you uninstall DIAdem 10.1, you will still have NI-USI 1.4, which has been tested extensively with DIAdem 9.1.  This should enable you to run both of the DataPlugins you mentioned in your DIAdem 9.1.
