Where is a good and appropriate place to sell old Sun hardware?

i've been digging through my old Sun hardware collection and finding a lot of things I just don't need, like SBus cards, memory modules, CPU modules, etc. I know I can throw it on ebay, but I hate selling anything on ebay and I'd rather use a "Sun" focused venue. I don't intend to get much for most of this old stuff, but i'd rather see it go to someone who might use it than to the electronic waste recyclers.
so, are there any mailing lists, online forums, etc. where i can find the right audience? (I didn't find a "classifieds" or "for sale" section in these forums, so I didn't want to post anything here unless that sort of thing is relatively common and appropriate here)

Where is there good, straightforward installation and configuration docs?

I have installed BI server on a linux box, and the client on a Windows box. we aren't using the default rpd, but rather the OBIA7960, Business Intelligence Applications. I created an 11gR2 database for the obia7960 schema, put the new rpd in OracleBI/server/repository, created the directory under OracleBIData/web. However, there are configuration problems: What nees to be configured on the client box? ODBC? How should the odbc.ini file be configured on the server, if at all? What about the instanceconfig.xml? variously, I'm getting log in errors trying to get into xmlpublisher: oracle.apps.xdo.security.ValidateException. Where is a good source to find examples of what these files should look like?

Thanks for the reply. I have used the 'official' documentation of course, but that is part of the problem. Anyway, yesterday I went through the installation from the beginning. Everything works up to validation the installation, i.e. the bi server check and the client check with nqcmd. However, the steps that need to be done and what configuration needs to be done in odbc.ini, instanceconfig.xml for web, presentation, and scheduler, etc. are unclear once a different rpd is used. Also, on the client side, a Windows box, how much is ODBC used or is it TCP through the Oracle client tools? The environment is this:
Linux Server with BI Server processes and 11gR2 database with BI Applications schema. The rpd is the OBIA OracleBIAnalyticsApps796.rpd. Where does this name have to be set in the configuration of the files on server side and client side?
The client is an appropriate Windows box with the Administrator and other client tools.
The confusion arises in the connection between data sources....the database schema or the rpd? Where and how do those need to be set?

The EJB 3.0 spec is still being revised, so all the documentation out there should not be considered authorative. There aren't any major changes in the works, but the details and syntax will likely change between now and when the spec is declared final. We will put out a Java EE 5 Tutorial beta (with EJB 3.0 info) in the fall, when all the specs have stabilized.
Oracle's site on EJB 3.0 has some good stuff, although it's based on an old draft of the spec, so keep that in mind.

Hi, I want to sell my NI myDAQ, but not sure where is a good place (not craigslist or ebay).
I have been searching all over for a place to sell some used labview equipment I have. I do not really want to sell on ebay or craigslist, as I would like to sell to someone who knows what they are buying. Does NI have a place to sell used equipment, or do they have a buy back program? Either might be a good idea. I have a brand new NI myDAQ. Anybody know I good resource to sell at?

Import goods and Sell directly to Customer

Dear Gurus,
I have a scenario in which the customer (outside INdia) will send their goods to India. And from India it has to be sold to the final customer (In India) without any further processing.
Should the place at which the goods will be rcieved (India) be configured as depot or warehouse.
What will be the difference? Also what all tax I had to consider if I import theses goods and then sell it to final customer.
I am new to such kind of scenario.

Further inputs I got from my friend is that since the selling price on the imported component would be higher than the imported cost, it is better to go for Advance Licence where also, the import duty is exempted.
Of course, the procedure to be adopted for this, should be explained in detail by your client and based on that, you can configure accordingly.
Last but not least, whatever be the process, in standard, you cannot address this issue. You have to go for zee development, as you cannot store Advance Licence details (from MM side) and those details, you will have to capture in export invoice which is a mandatory, as per Customs Law.

Depends on where you are. If you have a local MUG, their newsletter might have classifieds. If you're in a craigslist city, that's a good place, too.
But auction fever can do a lot for what you wind up getting, you know, so don't rule out ebay.

Instead of giving monetary benefits, the company prefers to give the free goods for the customer in the ratio of 1:1 occasionally.
in standard sap, normal pricing procedure will be assigned to ur sales area Doc. pricing procedure (A) Customer pricing procedure, where as free goods also will be assigning it to ur sales area,but the document pricing procdure will be as C- denotes free goods.
In sap, the free goods condition type is NA00, and even access seq. also will be Similar to condition type (it's ur wish to maintain like that), and the pricing procedure as NA0000.
the transaction code for freegoods is VBN1, where u can maintain ur condition records, here there will be a two option.
1. inclusive and 2. exclusive. maintain the records and save it.
kindly check the item category TANN, there pricing relevance should be B- free goods.
u have to maintain the free goods stock in ur plant. (its juz for transaction purpose).

Urgent: Performance problem with where clause using IN and an OR condition

If I modify the statement to remove the "or (:1 is null))" part at the bottom of the where clause, it returns in .16 seconds. If I modify the statement to only contain the "(:1 is null))" part of the where clause, it returns in .02 seconds. With the whole statement above, it returns in 477 seconds. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply, but I have already checked what you are suggesting and I am pretty sure those are not causing the problem. The hr2.full_name column has an upper index and the (4) line of the explain plan shows that index being used. In addition, that part of the query executes on its own quickly.
Because the sql is not displayed in an indented format on this page it is a little hard to understand the structure so I am going to restate what is happening.
My sql is:
select a_column
from a_table
where ((:1 is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement)
or
(:1 is null))
The :1 bind variable is set to a varchar2 entered on the screen of an application.
If I execute either part of the sql without the OR condition, performance is good.
If the :1 bind variable is null with the whole sql statement (so all rows or a_table are returned), performance is still good.
If the :1 bind variable is a not-null value with the whole sql statement, performance stinks.
As an example:
where (('wa' is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement)) -- fast
where (('wa' is null)) -- fast
where (('' is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement) -- fast
or
('' is null))
