Where is a good place to post a small Applescript job/project?

I need a script involving image manipulation and server upload as a folder action. Where should I look for someone to write it for me?
The script should enable any person without knowledge about image-manipulation and/or FTP-clients to exchange magazine covers in a shop with the latest issue.
How I picture it would work for the user:
- There is a folder with subfolders named after magazines.
- Drag'n'drop a JPG or PNG on one of the subfolders.
- The script activates in the background and resizes the images to a width of 150px and renames it to "subfoldername".jpg (Maybe pictures can be made to JPG if any other format ...?) The old picture can be overwritten.
- The image is uploaded to a certain directory on a webserver (via FTP or ...?). There is only one directory for all images.
What would be a fair compensation for something like this?

Here is the source-code for a drop-let. Just drag&drop an image file onto that App and it will be resized and uploaded via ftp. This should be a better way to trigger that event, since with your plan you would have to link a folderaction to each magazin folder.
So using this script you just update a text-file with all the magazin-names, and drag&drop the images onto the app (you can place it in your Dock, too)
You will have to change the properties in the source-code to make it fit your ftp-url, username&password.

Where is a good place to assemble a team?

Greetings.
I'm a recently graduated Game Developer. My specialty is C++, but lately I've taken it upon myself to learn J2ME so that I can produce mobile games. Currently, I am about 25% through my first game, which is a collection of brain teasers and puzzles, simliar to Nintendo's Brain Training series.
The problem, as any of you know, is that it takes very long to develop a game alone. I want to find other people to join and work with me in creating unique and entertaining mobile content. If we can get a few games/apps made together, I'd like to have them published so that we could form an official company.
Unfortunately, I have found no reliable place for this online. Surely there are Java hobbyists out there who would enjoy such a prospect? Do any of you know of good places to seek team members?

I used the library JExcelApi. The code I use to generate the excel is as follows, where I need to include in the PATH variable the directory where the user want to save the file.
What I need is to show the window for the user to choose where they want to save the excel file and overwrite the variable path.
How do I do? Any sample code to make the save browse and get the path?

Object Path Outline Stroke creates jagged edges for curve

When I outline a stroke, the nodes created along the curve are not smooth. Have these weird funky loops.
Here is the images as just a stroke with 40 point weight. The segment showed has 3 anchor points.
Here is the funky loops that I discussed above.
Any idea how to smooth out the curves better and avoid this issue? Trying to build a font in Illustrator before I transfer to Fontographer but this is problematic for all my curves.

Here are the anchor points. The nodes and handles all snap to a 10pt grid (sorry about the bounding box, but you can still see the anchor handles in there).
These are my brush definition settings.
I did create the curves using pen tool, then applied the brush definition to the path.

Questions about creating plugin_stage directory and creating the plugin

I am new with EM and am working on creating an EM plugin to monitor our web application by using JMX. I already have a very simple mbean server running and have generated very simple metadata and default_collection files. The next step should be to convert those files to an Oracle Plug-in Archive (OPAR), but before creating the OPAR, I seem need to create the plug-in stage directory which have various sub-directories and files. I searched the whole Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Extensibility Programer's Reference 12c Release 2 (12.1.0.2) and Programer's Guide as well as online, I couldn't find how the plugin_stage is created. I hope there must be a way to create that directory, or manually creating it will be tedious. Any pointer will be highly appreciated!

There are two issues here. One is the structure of the staging area, and the other is how to do incremental development of a plug-in efficiently. Regarding the first, the directory structure is pretty straightforward and once established for a particular plug-in doesn't need to be changed unless you are adding support for some new subsystem (e.g. adding jobs). There is no tool to create the directory structure.
The question of doing incremental development is mitigated by allowing you to use the "emctl register metadata" command once the initial version of the plug-in is deployed. This allows you to modify metadata and reload that particular file without having to build and deploy a new version of the plug-in.
Bottom line is that there is no plug-in developer IDE so you'll have to work with the pieces that are there. We appreciate your feedback so please keep it coming as we look at improving the plug-in developer experience in future releases.

You'll get out of much trouble (especially what comes to passing references (pointers) to methods and reference (pointer) variables).
Java is 100% pass-by-value, where "values2 are either primitive types (ints, floats, chars) or references (pointers). You can never have 'direct' access to objects like in C++.

Can imovie11 use plugins?, and if so where is a good place to get them?
