Where is Acrobat X Pro in CS5.5?

I Installed CS5.5 years ago and never needed Acrobat. Now I need it and it's supposed to come with CS5.5 and I don't have it installed. Any ideas why it wasn't installed when I installed CS5.5? Can I reinstall all of the programs on my Mac and see if that works? Thanks.

when installing adobe suites, you can pick and choose which programs you want installed.  you either failed to select it upon initial installation or possibly uninstalled it after the fact.  or maybe something else happened.
in any case, to install now, start your cs5.5 installation file(s) and you will again be given the choice of which program(s) to install.  tick acrobat X and go.

    Moved to CS6 (Design & Web Premium, Win7 64-bit) but I'm not happy with Acrobat X Pro--I need my comments on the bottom of Acrobat window and not on the right side. Can I uninstall only Acrobat X Pro from CS6 Design & Web Premium collection and reinstall Acrobat 9 Pro from CS5 safely?

    You cannot uninstall single products. You need to uninstall the whole suite, then reinstall it with custom options to exclude Acrobat. And of course it would be kinda smart to reinstall Acro 9 before reinstalling CS6...

    I downloaded the CS5 Master Collection trial for the Mac, which doesn't have Acrobat Pro in the Trial.
    I purchased the license, but Acrobat Pro is still nowhere to be found.

  • How to activate Acrobat 9 Pro part of CS5 ?

    My PC runs Windows 8.1 64b.
    CS5 runs perfectly but Acrobat 9 Pro which is part of the package refuses to work unless being activated.
    The problem is that there is no indication whatsoever adressing the activation process...
    To be noted is that Acrobat 9 Pro has been duly registered on my Adobe account.
    So where is the problem ?

    I am not sure that Adobe realise there is no procedure existing that explains how to obtain the serial
    number for Adobe Acrobat Reader 9 Pro as supplied with CS5 Design Premium.
    You need a separate serial number for Acrobat Reader 9 Pro. I am still unsure how to get it but I am trying.

    I own CS5 Design Standard.  The box says it comes with Acrobat 9 Pro.  I haven't needed to use it before, but now I need to.  Acrobat is not listed under All Programs with the other Adobe software, so I tried to re-install it.  But the install disc doesn't mention Acrobat.
    Where is my Acrobat software and how do I run it?

    Well that was easy!  Thank you for providing correct information, I now have Acrobat without any problems.  I do appreciate your help, but PLEASE can Adobe do something about their help and support systems?  This correct answer took maybe 5 minutes of your time, max.  I wasted three hours yesterday trying to get assistance on this, being told first that I had to pay for such support, then chatting to a support person who ended up telling me there was NO download, I couldn’t get this product by any means except I’d have to purchase it again.  Why should I waste three hours answering a simple question, and get a wrong answer?  Why is it so hard to get on to any actual support in Adobe?  Again, I appreciate getting the right answer here (THANK YOU MANISH-SHARMA!) but this is not always the case on these forums, often you waste time posting your problem, wait for days and get no useful answer, and are left with nobody to speak to, nowhere to go next.  It is very, very frustrating and makes me unspeakably angry.

    if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
