Where is Adobe's Flash Player Update reminder hiding?

Question

within a flash click the opposite mouse button
and you may change some Adobe flash settings
like allowing camera and microphone access.
but once you've done that Adobe dumps
a kind of version checker on your system.
you'll see that after the next boot, when a big
standalone window with 'An update to your Adobe
Flash Player is available" mid screen occurs subject
you player is not the latest.
where is this hecking cookie or whatever stored - can't find it
in the registry nor within Docs & Settings or elsewhere.
in my opinion a good role model for all spywarer and really
disgraceful for such a big company.

disable the Adobe auto-update in the control-panel thus
"falling behind" the latest version number on purpose.

wait until Adobe comes up with a new version and access any
flash site

click the opposite mouse button where you may change the Adobe flash settings camera and microphone access. do nothing just exit FF.
you will not find any chzange or new Adobe registry entry or a file
on the hard disk.

shutdown and reboot
Adobe pops up prior any setup with its big warning window stating "Install" "Remind me later".
and this hiding deep deep in the system is a malware behaviour.
and that was the question all about.
