Where is an "Import History"

Dear  SAP-Administrators,
Where (Table, Folder, File) can I find the Information about “Import History” of an ABAP-System.
Will be this list built from different sources or it is possible to find this list in some Table.
Many Thanks in advance.
Vladimir

Hi,
This data is stored in usr/sap/trans/data and in /buffer.
But never manually change the data in this folder and files. It always risky.

  • Wrong user ID in import history

    Dear Experts
There is an unusual Behavior observed in import history for some of my systems. Generally, in the imoprt history screen, if you do GOTO -> Display More, the column user shows the userID who has performed import for the particular request. However, in my case, the userID shown is TMSADM irrespective of the userIDs used for the import. Can somebody explain this strange behavior?
    Thanks
    Javed

    Hi Juan
I am doing import from the same system. Sitting in PROD and importing in PROD too.
By the way, I feel you are right about RFC. The system is indeed using the RFC for import, even for the same system but how I can't understand. By the way I just noticed something. The TMS setting for Prod is setup like this
    Transport Domain:
    Name:DOMAIN_PRD
    Controller : PRD
    Backup: DEV
    Transport Group:
    Name : GROUP_DEV
    RFC Address:
    SYSTEM: PRD
    Target Host: <prodcution hostname>
    User: TMSADM
I did a RFC check with the button alongside and RFC check is fine. The difference with this setting and the other system setting, where this is working fine is that Transport group is set to GROUP_PRD in other systems whereas here it is GROUP_DEV. But I am unable to make the connection with the observation and result. Maybe you can see something in it.
    Thanks

  • How to copy import history to a table?

    Hi All,
Can I copy "import history" to a table by ABAP script?
How can I get "Import History"?
    1. Go to Transaction: STMS
    2. From menu click "Overview", then from the submenu click "imports".
    3. Click on a system , click menu "Goto">"History">"Import History"
I want to copy this view to a table.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I am a basis guy without any knowledge of ABAP
I know to export as an excel sheet. But I want to copy the same to a temporary database table as I want to run some query like this on that temporary table.
    SELECT * from <table> where <returncode>>=0008 AND <yesterday> >= <Date> <= <today>

  • Where are my important files located in Leopard 10.5?

I had an old file from apple titled "Where are my important files located?" which applied to 10.3. I could not find this same doc for 10.5. It had the location of all the important files for safari, mail, address book, etc. and was handy when I was mirgrating files or backing up or so forth. Is there now an updated file/doc for this with regards to 10.5 Leopard? Or is every important file's location still located in the same location? Thanks

    Hi Teal,
I'm a big "foggy" on a lot of the OS X 10.3 "Panther" stuff but I think you'll find OS X 10.5 to be pretty similar in most regards.
As far as your user information, everything related to your user will be in the /Users/username location. The "Library" folder is probably the most important when it comes to application related data such as Safari, Mail, Address Book, iCal, etc. Some applications will have a folder directly inside the library folder (/Users/Username/Library/ApplicationName) and some will store data in the Application Support folder (/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/ApplicationName)
The important thing, is that all of your user data is stored in the /Users/Username location that will often be represented by a "House" icon when signed into that user.
Where it gets a little tricky, is some applications will store data in the /Users/Shared location and the /Library location. So if you ever do a total system migration there's a possibility you'll need to reinstall some applications. A Time Machine backup can assist with system migrations as it does a full and complete backup of your HD, including the User's home folder.

  • Status in Import history of Transport Management System

    Hello Experts,
I tried to import a TR from a DEV  to a QA.  After the first attempt I got an error RC=8. I retried the operation and as I can see in the overview of the transport logs, it worked (succesfully completed). Now I am only wondering why the status light of the mentioned TA is still red (RC=8) in the import history.
Does this light not shows the actual status?
    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,
Juan mean to say here that in the 1st run the transport failsed for some reason and in the 2nd run the same transport request imported successfully with warning (Yellow light).
    Any way import is over.

  • Transport Import History save to spread sheet

    Hi,
I have successfully saved the Transport import history as a spreadsheet.
    i.e. System > List > save > local file > Spreadsheet
However, the Return code column is blank? Probably becuase the image did not convert to text?
Does anyone maybe know what I can try to get the return code populated next to the transport in the spreadsheet?
    Kind Regards,
    Chris

    Juan, Thanks for the info.
I have also found this table to be very useful - TPALOG.
From this table I was able to extract the import history of the system I was looking for as well as the return code.
    Kind Regards,
    Chris

  • Is it possible to see the Import History???

I am importing a lot of folders with photos from a hard drive but I lost track of what has been imported already. Can I find the import history somewhere in iphoto 11??

No.  But if you start to import the same photos again you'll get a warning and be asked if you want to import the duplicate or not.

  • Lost Transport Import History after the system refresh

    Hi,
We forgot to take the backup of the TPALOG table before the system refresh. We refreshed our testing system from production system. Right now we donu2019t have the old import history for the testing system. We played with TPALOG table and TPALOGHDR to synchronize TPALOG table with ALOG*  files. But we are not able to do that. I remember we had synchronized the TPALOG table with ALOG* files in the past. Please advise for any function/program to achieve this. Thanks.
    Thanks.
    Raj.

    Hello Raj,
The mechanism behind the import history is that STMS will look in table TPALOGHDR to check if the time frame for which the import history is called, is between STARTTIME and ENDTIME.
If it is, it will use the entries in table TPALOG.
If not, it will read the ALOGxxxx files on /usr/sap/trans/log and update table TPALOG.
Modifying the ENDTIME in TPALOGHDR will force reading the ALOG files again and will update the internal table TPALOG. In most cases, using the first date you find in the ALOG file that covers the missing transport.
To reduce the possibility of competing accesses to the action log you can select a system-specific name. For this purpose, set the tp parameter ALLLOG in the STMS transport tool as global and with value:
    ALLLOG = ALOG$(syear)$(yweek).$(system)
This will create system dependant ALOG files like, ALOG0318.D01
It should be noted that : The import history in TMS is only available for periods after the last copy of a system. The reason for this is, that TMS needs some information about the ALOG files which are stored
in the database. During a database copy, this information is destroyed and there is no possibility to restore this data.
    Best Regards
    Niraj

  • Where is the Page History down arrow?

Where is the Page History down arrow? This should be part of the forward/back icon in the address bar. Not showing in Vista.
All I have is the Forward and Back arrows - no down arrow that would bring up recent pages in order loaded.

If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

  • I wander where to set import job for transports

I wander where to set import job for transports to be imported automatically. On transport domain controller I can not manage other job than the one for the system itself.
On the system which is not transport domain controler I have only display function

are you asking for 'automatic import' in QAS/PRD ?
When you go to STMS import queue in a particular system like QAS, there you can see a button 'import all'. This will enable to you schedule automatic import periodically in intervals for eg. 15 min or whatever you want.
just click on import all and it will ask for inputs and schedule
OR, do you want to confirm for RDDIMPDP job ?
Run report RDDNEWPP to schedule RDDIMPDP
Edit: Note 11677 - Transports with event-controlled RDDIMPDP

  • About How to delete STMS - imports- goto- history- import history log

    Hi guys:
How to delete STMS ->imports->goto->history->import history log ?

    Hi,
    Sap recommends:
    Use
Over time, a large number of potentially large files can accumulate in the subdirectories cofiles, data, and log of the global transport directory. These contain important information, but they also require space and become obsolete.
    Procedure:
To generate a list of all deletable files in these directories, enter the command tp check all. Files are considered deletable when the accompanying request is not marked for import into an SAP System. The list that is generated is stored as the check.log log file in the tmp subdirectory and can be read.
If you want to test the command tp clearold all, enter the command tp testold all. tp testold all simulates the actions performed by tp clearold all and writes the results to the file testold.log. This file is in the subdirectory tmp. The log file contains details of the actions of tp clearold all when cleaning up the transport directory.
To delete files from the subdirectories cofiles, log, and olddata, and to move files from the subdirectory data to the subdirectory olddata, enter the command tp clearold all. (This command works using the list generated in step 1.) The tp clearold all command writes the results to the clearold.log log file. This file is located in the tmp subdirectory.
For more information on the parameters for these commands, see Transport Profile. To get the current values, use the command tp showparams <sapsid>.
You do not need a connection to the database to execute the commands that are mentioned above. The function is independent of the installed SAP R/3 release.

    Pl award suitably.

  • STMS import history hangs

    Dear gurus,
In our QAS system when I push the "Import history" button in STMS, it hangs forever. SM50 shows that SAPLSTFI report is updating TPALOG table with TMSADM users, but actually there is no change in the table.
Could you kindly guide me what logs should I analyse to get the issue resolved?
    Best regards,
    Yerkebulan

There are no errors in SM21 regarding my issue.
Today I've recognized that last entries in TPALOG table are different than previous ones: PROJECT column is empty and LINESEQUENCE column all 0000.
I guess PROJECT column is a kind of counter.
Does anybody know what it means and how to fix it?
