Where is apache support?

Hi there.
Does anyone here know where to find the Apache support forum.
Only thing I
could get is: www.apacheforum.com
Is this the official one? I have noticed that most questions
there remain
unanswered.
Regards,
Deon

It's been a while, but I think the only 'official' support
from the Apache
foundation is their mailing list...which used to be very
busy.

    Bill,
    Thank you for your reply!
You may have guessed I am a bit  exassperated. (See this discussion from yesterday.) (Re: How do I get past the Error: 16 problem?
I am trying to move Adobe Acrobat IX, Photoshop CS6, Photoshop CC and Bridge to a new computer (Mac Pro (late2013), Mavericks 10.9.3) from an older Mac Pro using the same OSX.
I keep getting the error 16 message whether I try to open Acrobat or Photoshop (I have a paid for DVD of CS6). I have uninstalled and re-installed. I have reset permissions on 2 folders ion the system Library. I have either deactivated or signed out of ALL the Adobe products on my old computer. I signed in as 'Root' and tried to open the software. I have re-downloaded all the products except CS6 which I own. I have restarted the computer. I have repair the drive using Disk Utility and Disc Warrior. In short I have tried everything I can think of and that which has been suggested my others on this Forum.
    Thanks again,
    Jerry

This is an open forum, not Adobe support... you need Adobe staff to help
    Adobe contact information - http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
-Select your product and what you need help with
-Click on the blue box "Still need help? Contact us"
    -or by telephone http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/phone-support-orders.html

  • PPD File:Where is a support center?

I have a question about a PPD file.
    Where is a support center?
    thx.

A PPD file is a “PostScript Printer Description” file, an ASCII text file that contains information used by applications and/or PostScript printer drivers to customize the PostScript being generated for a specific PostScript printer model.
There is no “support center” for these files. Typically, they are generated by the manufacturer of PostScript printers and provided with the host software for same. They are also often bundled with operating system (i.e., MacOS and Windows) releases for popular devices.
Generally speaking, hacking around with PPD files is not recommended since much of the interaction between PPD files, drivers, and applications is poorly or not documented.
I have attached the official documentation of the PPD file format for your perusal.
You might want to ask us a specific question that we may be able to assist you with.

  • Where is FCP support??

Where is FCP support?? Does Apple not offer support??
Having a major issue with flickering video that is making me regret ever using this cluck crap!

    David Bogie Chq-1 wrote:
I believe you can pay for FCP support but this is a user-or-user forum.
"Flickering video" is not an adequate description to begin letting us help you. The power users will ask you for your complete machine/OS?FCPX specifications and screenshots or a movie of your issue.
(I thoroughly loathe FCPX so) I understand your frustration but I think you will find flickering video is highly unusual and we should be able to help you solve this issue with enough information a bit of time.
    Thanks David,
Where is support? This is my main question, FCP Studio had phone support.
After importing a XML from DaVinci Resolve a few clips seem to be corrupt, if i play these clips it breaks FCP and the video in the viewer flashes from the video to black almost every other frame,  i have to restart the computer to get it to play normal again.
I have a 2013 Mac Pro and FCPx is sluggish as ****! I alway work from Proxies and the interface still is sluggish and clunky! So frustrating!

  • WHERE IS CREATIVE SUPPORT AND FIRMWARE FOR THEIR PRODUCTS???????

@WHERE IS CREATIVE SUPPORT AND FIRMWARE FOR THEIR PRODUCTS??I swear I can't believe Creative is getting away with what they are doing. I can't tell you the amount of people that are infuriated with this company. Creative seems to be more concerned with releasing a hundred versions of the same type of mp3 player instead of supporting the mp3 players they've already released. I have owned multiple Creative products including soundcards and mp3 players. The lastest one- the Creative X-FI(with wireless lan) is one of the glitchiest players I've ever owned yet their last firmware update was 2 years ago- 2 YEARS!!
!!! I've had it with this ridiculous company. They would be the envy of Apple if they could only get their customer support together instead they'd much rather watch their customer base slowly evaporate.
    Dave

I TOTALLY agree. Not only does their product support blow, so does their customer support. I can't find anywhere to contact these people regarding my warranty return status. I have typed the RMA info in for 3 days now and all I receive is an internal error! WTF
The contact us link is just another link back the same options on the page. SO "contact us" really means "Good luck clicking around in a circle until you give up." I really hope that they send me my product back, lord knows I can't track its status anymore.
This will be the LAST thing I ever purchase from Creative until I've heared that they have gotten their act together.

I'm ordering the 650i for myself... 680i just too bad, dun have internal PATA, which I worry that the JMicron thing will come back and haunt the user...

  • No one is helping me.  Where is tech support?!!

No one is helping me.  Where is tech support?!!

    Hi,
There are different ways to view your pictures, catalog view, folder view or collections view.
Catalog is just info on all the images stored in its database, previous import is just that, a quick way of locating the files you previously imported.
Folders is just all the different locations that images are stored for lightroom.
Collections are just collections of pictures based on metadata.
They are all the same pictures just different ways to find them.
Have a look at the lightroom queens free quick start guide, http://www.lightroomqueen.com/free-ebook/lr5/

  • How do I find where the Apache home directory is?

I am working with a server on which someone else installed Apache. In fact, they have both Apache 1.3 and Apache 2.0 on it. Only Apache 2.0 is active. I don't know what they used to install it or where Apache came from. The people who installed it cannot be reached.
How do I find out which directory is Apache_home?
At first I tried looking for files and directory names that I thought would show up in the Apache_home directory tree:
Tried 'locate apache' in root, and got dozens of directories or files with the word "apache" in them.
Tried 'locate httpd.conf', and got two listings (etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf and usr/lib/opcenter/fastcgi/httpd.conf). One might be for each of the Apache versions?.. but which is which?? Are either of them under the "apache_home" directory??
Tried 'locate libexec' (one of the directories Im need to find) and got user/libexec and user/local/libexec.
Is there a configuration file or something that has a statement like "$Apache2.0_home=XXX/XXX/XX" that would tell me where it is??
    Thanks in advance.

No, Apache _home is a sort of the base directory for
the apache installation. According to some literature I read today, this directory should've been /usr/local/apache/bin/, but that's not where I found my apache install (cygwin, I let the installer handle all the defaults).
Mine was under /usr/sbin/, and to be correct I was looking for the httpd.exe (cygwin specific) file.
I'd suggest running a find / -name (file you are looking for) to locate your resources.

  • How can I tell my apps where their Application Support folders are?

Hi there- I thought I had this solved with an earlier post but looks like I don't.
I just installed an 120GB SSD in addition to my 500GB HDD in my Mid-2010 MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion. I did the following things:
    1. Carbon copied my entire HDD onto the SSD (everything but the /Users and /Applications folders)
    2. Booted from SSD and changed the "user folder location" to point to the users folder I left on the HDD (in System Preferences+Users and Groups+Advanced Settings.)
    3. All of my apps showed up as brand new or were malfunctioning in some other way. I've figured that this is because they can't find their Application Support folders (which may be in the Users directory on the HDD) Upon seeing that my Apps didn't have any data, as in, they thought they were brand new, I moved the Applications folder to the SSD too. This doesn't solve the problem.
    4. I then set up a symbolic link on the HDD that points to the actual folder on the SSD. Still nothing.
But the apps are all missing their Application Support files. My EyeTV thinks it's brand new and unactivated, my screen saver program is confused, Audition won't even open, and so on and so forth. My concern is not the " You are launching this app for the first time" message. I'm fine with that- I only care about the fact that none of these apps know where any of their files and settings are and I can't tell them.
How can I make these apps (or Mac OS) know where all these files are? I didn't think I messed with too much...

I justlokerd on my iPod and I can't find it eithr.  It does appear in the App store on the computer. The App store on the iPod will not allow you to purchas and app that is not compatible with your iod mode/iOS.
