Where is background color stored in CS3 Bridge?

I would like to change the background color of the Bridge interface to match my desktop and Photoshop (both of which are currently #C0C0C0, or (192,192,192). I can go into Edit/Preferences/General, and play with the User Interface Brightness and Image Backdrop sliders and eyeball it, but I'm looking for something a little more precise.
Is the color saved in an XML file somewhere? (I looked in Adobe Bridge Panel Preferences.xml, which seemed like the most likely candidate, but did not find anything that looked like it.)
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Hi
I think there is a bug in the first release of Forms 6i,
where the prompts got the same backgroung color of the
related item (in fact, it must have no back color,
because it has no "background color" property).
Try applying a patch over it.
I update all my works from developer 2000 to developer 6i (forms 6.0). All my screens are now irregular becoz, the text field prompt background color property is not present in forms 6i. Can you help me how to solve this prob.
(one more solution i found is, can do the prompt as separate canvas object, but is there any way to set the background color for prompt entered in text field.)
Thank you
Raj

  • Vnstati background color

    Good evening,
    Since today I am using vnStat 1.11 and the daemon is running smoothly on my Arch Linux install.
    However when I try to create a graph with the vnstati command it returns a graph where the background color is being defined by the CText in the configuration file.
    The problem with this is that the text itself will be the same color as the background and thus not readable.
    I did try to set the background color to transparant, however this does not make any changes.
    I did try prefixing the color codes with a # character only this does not matter. Also I tried using the -D parameter but this seemes to be fine.
    Below I added the vnstati configuration, the command I use and the image it results into. To clarify things I made the CText red which should result in red text and not a red background.
    Does someone had this before and can help me out?
    # vnstati
    # title timestamp format
    HeaderFormat "%x %H:%M"
    # show hours with rate (1 = enabled, 0 = disabled)
    HourlyRate 1
    # show rate in summary (1 = enabled, 0 = disabled)
    SummaryRate 1
    # layout of summary (1 = with monthly, 0 = without monthly)
    SummaryLayout 1
    # transparent background (1 = enabled, 0 = disabled)
    TransparentBg 1
    # image colors
    CBackground "000000"
    CEdge "AEAEAE"
    CHeader "606060"
    CHeaderTitle "FFFFFF"
    CHeaderDate "FFFFFF"
    CText "FF0000"
    CLine "B0B0B0"
    CLineL "-"
    CRx "92CF00"
    CTx "606060"
    CRxD "-"
    CTxD "-"
    vnstati -i eth0 -s --config /etc/vnstat.conf -o /tmp/vnstati_s.png -D

    I believe it has something to do with a conflicting package. I made a quick clean install on a virtual server and vnstati is outputting it's graphs like a charm. However on my normal server it still gives wrong background colours.
    I did double check the GD library and it is the same on both machine, even the optional dependencies.
    The only thing I could imagine was that maybe the seperate php-gd package could conflict with the normal GD package. However this did not seem to be the cause as when I uninstalled the php-gd package the images still had a wrong background color.
    So far no solution yet, any help is appreciated.

  • Where Preferences for CS3 Bridge Stored?

    Where are the CS3 Bridge preferences stored OSX 10.5?
    I want to trash them.
    Is this it: User> Library> Preferences:
    com.adobe.bridge2.plist

    GB
    The plist file should be situated in the user-library - preference folder: com.adobe.bridge2.plist
    The main cache folder is in the same library in the cache folder: cache - Adobe- Bridge CS3 - Cache. If you manual trash both the plist and cache and restart bridge both files should renew them selves to fresh settings.
    However, deleting cache destroys also all prior cache so you need to rebuild again for every folder you have cached before.
    Further more it is not that easy to find a preference file, at least I don't know. There is an other place with Bridge settings in the user library under Application Support - Adobe - Bridge CS3 but not a preference folder.
    In the system library are also some Bridge settingfiles and for real mystery you should select the Bridge application Icon itself in the application folder, use right mouse click and select show package content. In here there are a whole lot of settings that I really don't know anything of, due to the fact that I'm a photographer and not a technician... :-)
    If you have now plist file you probably would be better off with a re install from the CS3 disk

  • CS2 Bridge vs CS3 Bridge = Colors don't match

    I was wondering why a JPG of eyewear with clear lenses shot on a white background and which have no color cast whatsoever displays with a light pink cast in Bridge 2.1.1.9 and displays it's normal 'neutral tone' in Bridge 1.0.4.6 ?
    The folder they're in has both CMYK and RGB (sRGB) versions of the same product shot and only the RGB ones display with a noticeable pink cast in CS3 Bridge. High quality thumbnails is turned on and when I open the image in PS10 it's fine. The lens' RGB value in the affected area is neutral and pretty close to 232/232/232. There are no color casts anywhere.
    As a test I just created a 232/232/232 box on a white canvas and saved it as a JPG. I've discovered that if I save it as a progressive JPG the 232/232/232 box displays as light pink on a white background in Bridge 2.1.1.9. If I save it as a Baseline (Standard) JPG it does not have the false pink cast. The same test images all display correctly in Bridge 1.0.4.6.
    Is this a known issue or something particular to my system?
    Russell

    Hi @Lommarti
    Although HP does not support Photoshop, I was able to find something that might help; How to Convert RGB to CMYK in Photoshop.
    If you can print from other programs without any issue, then you might consider contacting Adobe for help adjusting your color settings further.
    You can also use the following document to ensure the printer is not at fault; Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP ENVY 5640, 5660, 7640 and Officejet 5740, 8040 e-All-in-One....
    i hope this helps.

  • Can I change the background color of a video thumbnail to view a silhouettes transparancy in Bridge

    I see this question asked a ton on here, and never EVER am I finding an answer.  I know in the past (Adobe CS 5) in Bridge you could view the transparency of a black silhouette image against a medium grey so you could see the content of the clip.  Adobe changed that with CS 5.5 & on, and never seems to want to answer question when we members ask.  PLEASE ADOBE ANSWER!!
    How can I view a black silhouette image in Bridge when Adobe had decided to make the transparency black instead of grey? (Ideally the transparency of a video file should show as a grid as it does in ALL OTHER Adobe products.
    PLEASE HELP.  We use bridge heavily in production to organize our assets, and this change not being addressed kills our asset searching time because we have to open each clip to view it, rather than being able to preview it, which is what the Bridge is for.
    Thanks.
    P.S.  Do not tell me how to change the programs background color as this is not the question.  The question is how do I change the color of the transparency display for video clips.

    Hi Peter
    The associated FCM file provides us a clue as to Captivate's
    pedigree. What we know today as Captivate is a product that was
    born into the world and dubbed "FlashCam". This file contains
    information about margins. So FCM means, FlashCam Margins.
    If all you are doing is adjusting the colors a bit, you may
    copy the associated files to new names. Then modify the colors as
    desired and all should be well.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Execute listcube in background - where is the file stored on app server

    Hi,
    I want to execute listcube in background.
    to execute in background, the only output option available is Store in file (appl server).
    My question is where is this file stored.
    there is no information in the job log nor is there any spool.
    Also, can I determine myself where is this output file written.

    I have a couple of questions that could lead to an answer to your question...
    Does your BW environment have one or more application servers, in addition to the Database Central Instance (DBCI)? If so, do you use logon groups for SAP Logon so that the logon loads are balanced?
    I'm asking these questions because if you have a multiple application server environment and logon balancing, you may not be logging onto the same server every time that you're executing LISTCUBE and it will save to the directory path of the server you're logged onto.

  • Bridge CS4: Changing preview window's background color

    How can I change the preview window's background color? (default is black) It happens that I have some black images with alpha (transparent background)  and being all black they blend with the preview window's background color. can this be changed?? I looked everywhere and the only thing I found is how to change bridge's appearance, but not the preview window's bg color. Thanx in advance

    Try changing the thumbnail style to HQ or ?, and see if that makes any difference.  In Quick thumbs it may not display layers.

  • Dynamic Page background color - where to change?

    Where can I change color of table background for dynamic page?
    Thanks in advance

    Krzysztof Jungowski

    Hi,
    sorry for posting html code. I have found the solution.
    The dynamic page body is rendered by
    PORTAL30.wwv_render_report.show() procedure. I can add aditional parameter "p_table_bgcolor" to procedure
    i.e. p_table_bgcolor => '#CCCCCC'
    The default colors are definied in package definition PORTAL30.wwv_render_report.

  • Flash CS3 debugger window background color

    Is there any way to get Flash CS3 to use the same background
    color from your actionscript settings in the debugger? It's always
    light gray--I like to use a black background for my actionscript,
    but now I'm probably going to have to change to gray since it
    appears the debugger ALWAYS uses a gray background regardless of
    your settings? (My text is white and I can't see it against the
    debugger background)
    Is there any way to change this?

    if you're wanting to look at the contents of variables,
    unlike the AS2 debugger, the movie needs to be paused, for example
    at a breakpoint. Once the movie's paused variables will appear in
    the 'Variables' window.

  • CS3 Table Background Color Won't Change

    I have been inserting tables and doing the CSS for them fine

  • CS3 Background Color Bleeds Through, why?

    I've searched the forum and haven't found an answer. I know
    this maybe an amateur question but I just can't seem to figure out
    a solution.
    Disclaimer: I'm new to CSS at what I know about div tag I
    learned from an online tutorial.
    When I insert the div tag and specify an infinite background,
    the background bleeds through eh boxes that hold my text.
    I select the entire page in DW and
    insert a a div tag;
    -wrap around selection
    -ID : layout
    -New CSS Style
    Background;I set the back ground color by sampling the color
    that I brought in with my sliced image from PS.

  • Help With Editing The Background Color On PHP-Based Photo Gallery Software!

    I recently installed and began using some PHP-based photo
    gallery software for my website. I've been able to customize other
    areas of the software's appearance (text color, etc), but am unsure
    of what need to be done to change the background on the 'Default'
    skin from white to black. Any suggestions? Below are copies of the
    code from the 'index.php' and the css from the 'default skin'
    portions of the software:
    <title>BigMusicGeek.com -- Your Online Concert
    Photography Authority!</title><?
    include "config.php";
    include GAZ_DIR_FS_ROOT . "includes/init.php";
    include GAZ_DIR_FS_ROOT . "includes/classes/gallery.php";
    $gaz_gallery = new gallery();
    //$gaz_gallery->gazimage = 78;
    echo $gaz_gallery->show();
    ?>
    a.gaz_nav {
    color: #FF0000;
    a:hover.gaz_nav {

    If you've set up your site definition properly in
    Dreamweaver, you should
    be able to copy the table in design view from home.html and
    paste into
    gallery/index.php and DW will correct the paths
    automatically. It /might/
    even copy the relavent JavaScript over (I don't have DW on
    this computer to
    test that).
    But to answer your question, any path to the images must
    point to the site
    root (where your images are stored). The links will likely
    need to point
    there as well. For example, the Home button in your table
    gets its image
    from:
    src="Home Navigation Home01.png"
    In order for that to work from pages in the gallery folder,
    it will need to
    be linked with either a site root relative, or a simple
    relative path:
    src="/Home Navigation Home01.png"
    The above example tells the server to look for the image in
    the site's root
    folder.
    src="../Home Navigation Home01.png"
    This example tells the server to get the image from one
    folder up from the
    current folder.
    Likewise for the links. ie: href="Home.html" would become
    either
    href="/Home.html" or href="../Home.html"
    href="phpBB3/index.php" could become href="/phpBB3/index.php"
    or even
    href="/phpBB3/"
