Where is default & smartbar in forms stored? can we modify it?

Hi,
We have Default & smartbar which is included in all the forms as deault menu & toolbar. where can i find it & how to customize it?if any one say where i can find, i can customize it.
I found one menu / mmb file in orahome/cgenf61/admin the file name is OFGMNUT.MMB
is this the one used by forms by default? if yes where can i find the smartbar?

Download the forms 6i demos from www.oracle.com site.
I that you can find the .mmb file of default menubar.
You can change according to your requirements...

I want to replace current menu with "default&smartbar" menu when tab is changed.

You canot edit default&smartbar menu. Because thats oracle default internal menu.
But if you want you can get a copy of $ORACLE_HOME\cgenf61\ADMIN\OFGMNUT.mmb menu and then modify it to your requirements.
That form has same menus and functions as default&snartbar menu.

What is the package name where the default SE11 programms are stored ?

Can any one help me in finding out the package name where the deault SE11 programms are stored... Programms like Creating database table, Creating domains Etc......

put such things into *a reference form* what is meant by a reference form do u mean the main form?
Create a property class (PC) for your FORM-MODULE-properties,
put this PC into the reference form.
Create there an object group (OG), put the PC into the OG and the inherit the OG to your local form.
Automatically you have then the PC inherited too.i did all what u mentioned..
Bbut the problem is that the DEFAULT&SMARTBAR
can't be seen in allllllllllll my forms in the main menu inspite of i put it into the form module property ->in the intial menu property.

SMARTBAR in FORMS 9i without DEFAULT menu

I need in my Forms 9i the SMARTBAR without DEFAULT menu.
DEFAULT menu and DEFAULT&SMARTBAR menu is possible, why not a SMARTBAR menu (internal)?

The reason that there is no Smartbar on it's own is because the smartbar is driven off the menu - Menu Items can expose themselves on the smart bar if required, but any smartbar item has to be in the menu (but it can be invisible).
So to only have smartbar would involve a menu full of only invisible items, but that would mean that peoplw would not be able to add their own menus to co-exist with the smartbar.
You can always edit the menudefs.mmb file (it comes with the 6i demos which you can pull off OTN)

I'd like to access the location where the default templates are stored. I've checked in: "Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Logic" but did not find anything.
I see that user templates are in: "Macintosh HD/Users/PROFILE/Library/Application Support/Logic/Project Templates"

That is not correct.
User Project templates are stored in the location you stated but the Default Project templates, which is what the OP asked about, are stored within the app as Blueberry stated....

Where is the default SSN/SIN maintained or can it be maintained?

Does anyone know where the default SSN/SIN numbers are maintained and if I have the option to set the value to the same default value in all countries when we do not know the number yet? Currently the default for Canada is 000-00-000 and for the US it is 999-99-9999 and this is causing me issues when trying to use IT 0031 and transferring employees between countries since the SIN/SSN audit fails.

SSN can be maintained in IT0002 ( Personnel Information ). You can default the value using a dynamic action or using a field exit on the SSN field with the assistance of an ABAP developer. I think dynamic action option will be a good solution.

Hi,
I want to change the default value in form..how can i do this?
Fo exa...in purchasing when we go to auto create..in action tab we see create been defaulted whenever we open the form and also there is one more option called add to...so whenever i open this form..i want to see add to there..
How can we get this?please advise?

I have a question that maybe silly but annoying to me. I need to provide a form with report, where some items in the form have been given values automatically, and these items (display only) are supposed to show given values in the form automatically.
I used the APEX form with report. The update and delete worked well. But I cannot show automatic values when insert. By default APEX insert form makes every item null; I tried to give value for two items: P5212_USERKEY, P5212_DAILY_VER_DATE with process before header, after header, after regions and before footer, and computation, or set values of these two items in the branch when user hit create button (submit). It never worked out, the two items always displayed null value, and when I insert, I got "ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("TBSBI"."DAILYVERPRODNOTE"."USERKEY")", since I have set up constraint in database that these two columns should not be null.
Could anyone help on this? any suggestion would be appreciated.

If you have made these values 'Display Only' they would by default not save the session state. Accessing the page items will always return NULL. Did you change the 'Save Session State' option to 'Yes'?

Highlight Fields as default for PDF Forms

Hello all,
I've recently designed a PDF form with some required fields, which get marked in red as soon as you open the form. However, some Acrobat Reader users have to click first on "highlight fields" in order to see the required fields. Is there a way to set "highlight fields" as a default for this form?

The suggested code didn't work for me with Adobe Reader 8.0. However, since I am a novice at this, I may not be adding the code correctly -- can you please tell me if this JavaScript client code for layout:ready is correct or not? I added the code in red. (I am using LiveCycle Designer ES Version 8.2.1.4029.1.523496). It seems to be in the right place because if I alter the code to unconditionally set app.runtimeHighlight to false, then when I open up the form with Reader 9.0, the highlighted fields are off.

Thank you for posting on the Adobe Forums, kindly try the step mentioned below.
1) Right click on any of the PDF file and choose the option open with
2) Select choose default program
3) Select Adobe Reader/Acrobat from the list
5) Check the box "always open this type of file with selected program" (not the exact same wording)
6) Click OK
If you are on Mac, CTRL+Click on the file.
Go to Get info
Go to Open with
Change it to Adobe Reader/Acrobat and click change all.
