Where is drag lock for my new Magic Pad?

I just bought a new magic pad for my iMac. I really like it and I have touch to click enabled. I am trying to find an easier way to click and drag other than click with my thumb and draging with my finger. I read something about drag lock that would do this but I don't see if in the System Preferences. Have things changed? Is there a way to click and drag that doesn't involve an hard click?

Two ways to do this:
You can use the 3 finger drag option in System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click tab > check 3 finger drag. Note this method will alter other 3 finger gestures.
The other method is in System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad in list on left > Trackpad options... button > check Enable dragging with or without drag lock. This is a double tap and hold method of dragging.

"Drag lock" for Bluetooth mouse?

I'm quadriplegic and have recently been put in a new wheelchair that makes using a conventional mouse and keyboard (which I've always done, albeit slowly) impossible. My new setup involves a microlite switch & SwitchXS for text input; I also have a Bluetooth module on my wheelchair that turns the driving joystick into a mouse, with right and left click functionality. Unfortunately, it can't drag items (you "click" by nudging the joystick to the left or right, so there's no way to maintain the mouse down state and move the cursor). I've been using a dwelling utility, but it's terribly annoying to have to break my workflow by moving all the way across 2 1920x1080 screens & back, and get the timing perfect, whenever I need to drag.
I'm looking for something like Windows has in its preferences, where you hold the left-click for a specified time & it turns on drag. Alternatively, I'd be willing to give up right-clicking if that could be mapped to drag lock. I'm even willing to pay a developer at this point, as dwelling is just not a satisfactory option. Any suggestions?

Messages in iOS6 now turns on caps lock for every new word!

Does anybody else have this problem? Do you know if there is a setting that will allow me to turn this off? I've looked but can't find anything.

The padlock indicates a secure connection to the server. You don't want to get rid of that.

HT4009 I purchased Paprika Ap for my new i pad and realized after doing so that it was "paprika for I phone. Can I exchange it for ap for i pad?

New to ipad and searched for paprika app. clicked on one and downloaded. After doing so, I realized it was an app for the i phone instead of the I pad. Are they interchangeable - can i use this i phone app on my ipad or can i exchange?

You can use the app on the iPad assuming that you have the required iOS on the iPad. It will be in the native iPhone screen size - half size on the iPad. You can enlarge it by tapping on a 2X in the bottom right corner, but it will be pixelated and low resolution. But it will work.
You cannot exchange apps and the terms of the Apple stores are that all sales are final. But you can always try if you want to do so.

No iPad 3 has been announced yet. If the current iPad does what you need, and you can afford it, then you might as well get one now and start getting use out of it - unless you want to wait an unknown number of months for a un-spec'd/unnounced product

Mac Pro Dragging/Locking Up During File Downloading??

Within the past week I have been experiencing a problem with my Mac Pro where it drags/locks up and delays anytime I am downloading something. For example if I am downloading something it may take me several times pushing a key when typing to get it to show up or having to click an item or button several times to get a response or for it to work. This applies in all areas or anything I try to do it is not specific to any software. This only happens when downloading though... The files are being saved to an external hard drive so there isn't a problem with hard drive space. The moment everything is downloading everything is back to normal. I have also noticed that this also happens when uploading as well??
I have had this mac pro for about a year and half never experienced this problem before... The specs for it are 4GB RAM & 2 X 3 GHz Dual Core Processor
Any ideas or suggestions?? Any help is greatly appreciated!! I have already tried running repair disk permissions & IceClean and neither of them corrected the problem??

Replace and repair the external drive (might want to research make/model and compatibility).

Tryten lock for macbook pro

Hi, I need a physical lock for my new MacbookPro to chain it to my desk at work. Any suggestions? Is the Tryten lock any good? Any brand or lock to stay away from. Thanks for the advice.

Well, in short, there is a reason why the security lock in your MBP is called a "Kensington lock" or "K-Lock"
I have always used their locks and they work fantastic. I've used both the "ClickSafe™ Keyed Laptop Lock" and the "MicroSaver® Keyed Ultra Notebook Lock." They also have a "light" edition which is not on the site (for home use or on the road.)
I used to wire the cable through my desk at work (high traffic area.) So, if anybody wanted to try to steal my MBP they would have to take the desk and the chair with them...

I assume you mean a wireless mouse. It would be helpful The hard surface of a desk is not so kind to it. I use a square of fine black artist's felt and Hoover it now and then to keep the dust down.

Magic Trackpad - One Finger Dragging/Drag Lock Not Working

So I'm loving my new Magic Trackpad, but my one finger dragging and drag lock does not seem to be working.
First of all, it is enabled under System Preferences-->Trackpad. No matter what I do, I cannot get one finger dragging to work. I logged in under my wife's account, enabled it there, and tried but still no luck. It doesn't appear to be working under either of our accounts.
I've yet to create a brand new account to try, but my wife's account just as well be new, as it's virtually never used.
Note that I did have a Magic Mouse previously and using MagicPrefs. I'm curious if this might be causing issues, but I haven't tried removing it yet.
Any ideas? Physically clicking while dragging is about to drive me crazy.

QUICK FIX: Change the option for the three-finger gesture to dragging; it works.
Although I wish I could do one-finger dragging and keep the three-finger gesture for Navigation.
But not being able to drag or select text/pics, was a more urgent desire than Navigation, so I changed the option on the three-finger gesture.
I have had the SAME PROBLEM with dragging and drag lock (whatever 'drag lock,' is, I haven't seen explained; it doesn't work for me, yet).
_Everything else I've gotten to work_ (secondary click in left/right corners took a while - now I learned that I actually got to push down/click; or, at least, doing that makes it work).
But, one finger dragging - still no go.
I'll try the suggestions here. Check out the apps mentioned. Subscribe. See what happens.
P.S. - It doesn't 'shock me,' that a brand new product with first version software is not perfect, nor that I/we may have a bit of a learning curve.
My right wrist was ready for a rest and my left hand eager to get into computer use, so I love this product, find it 'graceful,' and pleasant and have confidence that it will be improved by Apple and others, and ourselves as we get use to it.
