When using the prodesign site you need to follow the Note: Very Important Instructions section verbatim in order for the download to work properly. Those steps essentially set you up as signed in to the Adobe site so that the files can be downloaded.

Scanner support in Photoshop CS6 Windows 64bit
Does CS6 restore the twain scanner function on Windows machines that was lost in CS5, or do I have to continue to keep CS4 on my desktop?
ThanksThe TWAIN support in Photoshop CS6 for Windows is exactly the same as it was in CS5 and earlier. You can download the TWAIN plugin from adobe.com, and install it in the 32-bit version of Photoshop. You will also need to install TWAIN drivers for your scanner by getting the appropriate software from the manufacturer's web site or installation disk. You will need to run the 32-bit version of Photoshop to use your scanner.
There is no 64-bit TWAIN support in Photoshop on Windows primarily because the TWAIN data source manager (DSM) that Microsoft ships with Windows is 32-bit only.
While it is possible for more technically experienced users to download and install a 64-bit compatible DSM to replace the Microsoft version (see twain.org), there are two problems: first, the Photoshop TWAIN plugin is 32-bit only, and will not work in the 64-bit version of Photoshop regardless. But even if it did, and you installed a 64-bit DSM, the second problem is that there are virtually no 64-bit compatible TWAIN scanner drivers (data sources) available from scanner manufacturers (it's a classic chicken & egg problem--there's litte demand for 64-bit data sources, so there are very few 64-bit data sources.)
Dedicated scanning applications like VueScan are popular among people who have more demanding needs for controlling the scanning process, or do a large volume of scanning. The WIA and TWAIN plugins for Photoshop are intended for more casual use, and may be preferable to the expense and overhead of a separate application.
Hope this helps,

Where can I download Windows 64bit version of Lightroom?
My understanding is that this exists?
After my purchase of an upgrade from 1.4 I only get a download option for the 32bit version. I'd really like to have the 64bit version so it can support all my RAM.
Can anyone explain where or how I can get that version?
Thanks,
HåkonI have Windows XP 64 bits SP2. I understand that this isn't officially supported, which of cause is disappointing to those of us who wouldn't touch Vista with a bargepole.
As stated above I tried installing the 64bit version using the method outlined in the blog post that was referenced. Unfortunately Lightroom does not seem to behave very well at all under Windows XP 64bit, at least not on my machine.
Lightroom is my main piece of software which is why I installed the 64 bit version of XP (when it was announced that Ligthroom 2 would be 64 bit on Wondows). So this is a bit disappointing all said.
Ligthroom 2 does work in the 32 bit version, but I was hoping to be able to use all my RAM and perhaps get a little performance boost from better memory management with the 64 bit version. -

Recreating Dreamweaver CS6 configuration leaves non functional extension
After recreating the Dreamweaver CS6 configuration folder due to a very bad extension installation, I am unable to remove the bad extension from the Extension Manager list, is it possible to manually remove it since it will never work if I do not install it again?
Please delete all files from "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\EM Store\Dreamweaver CS6", "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Mxi Flag\Dreamweaver CS6" (Windows) or "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/EM Store/Dreamweaver CS6", "/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Mxi Flag/Dreamweaver CS6" (Mac).

I need the eyedropper tool in Dreamweaver CS6. In all other Adobe programs it is in a Tools Panel on the left of the screen. Where is it?
DW doesn't have one.
Keep in mind, DW's interface is still very Macromedia-esque since it was acquired by Adobe.
What are you trying to do?
The answer to that will allow us to get you the directions you need to get it done. -
Where can I find my settings file in Dreamweaver CS6?
I was given a brand new computer two days ago by our IT staff. They were kind enough to load all of my software onto the hard drive. However, they did not migrate any of my settings over and now I have a problem. All of my ftp information for my website was on the old hard drive, but I need to have all of that information to set up the new hard drive.
Can anyone point me in the proper direction?
Ubiquitous information:
Dreamweaver CS6 v 12.0 Build 5808
Windows 7 OS
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!!

Without access to the actual DW program that used to be installed, you're going to be stuck manually adding your FTP when you re-create your site definitions for the new installation. -
Adobe Dreamweaver Cs6 Clash with Windows 8
I am trying to test out Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 for the 6 day trial period on Windows 8. After one use it doesn't want to load again saying that the program unistalled itself (error 16) and I should reinstall. If it does this on the trial, it would after I buy it, do it as well right. Are Adobe dreamweaver and Windows 8 enemies? Must I rather turn to Netfusion?? How do I know the product will work if the trial does not work at all??
See if the following links are helpful. The first is for a help document provided by Adobe and the second is a posting where at the end the user was able to resolve the problem by changing some permissions.

Hello,
Where did you get the installer file from?
You can try the link below and download and install Dreamweaver CS6.
During the installation process you would need to select the option to insert Serial number to authenticate.
Download CS6 products
Select relevant file as per your operating system.

Installation issues including AAM, Dreamweaver CS6 and Phtoshop CS6
Hi Everyone,
This discussion is a continuation of a thread that was started in the 'Creative Cloud' discussion forum. It's important to read this discussion first to get a background regarding the underlying issues first.
To continue, this new discussion will keep the issue in the open - I don't want it hidden away as I believe others may benefit from suggestions and issues along the way.
Quick recap:
My UK organisation purchased 6 licences each of Photoshop CS6, Dreamweaver CS6 and Acrobat 10 via an Adobe License Certificate.
The license keys were given to me to download and install the software.
I downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/downloads but on installing was told that the key was invalid.
Contacted Adobe support several times and finally found that the software had to be downloaded from https://licensing.adobe.com.
Didn't have an account as these are held by my organisation's purchasing team.
Adobe added my details to my company's account eventually.
Downloaded and installed the software.
At fisrt I used the software and, as with most software rushed through for a deadline, discovered various bugs (mainly in Dreamweaver it has to be said, as I haven't really had chance to use the other two products yet). So...
Attempted the automatic update process. This failed due to restrictions on our firewall.
Checked the Adobe site which said check the log files. Checked the log files and found a warning (this is detailed in the other post metnioned above).
Chatted with Adobe support twice at this point to try and pinpoint the issues. They suggested downloading the updated updater(!).
Dreamweaver update process went 65% of the way through before freezing with 5 seconds left on the clock and Photoshop failed altogther saying that the updater was invalid. Dreamweaver gave me the error number U44M2I218, as discussed in the other thread by Ken.
I completely uninstalled every Adobe product, including Flash and Air
and ran the Cleaner Tool. After reinstalling and attempting the upgrade process for only Photoshop and Dreamweaver I received the same issues as discussed previously.
For some reason this caused issues with my OS and I've had to rebuild. This time I'm running Windows 7 instead of XP SP3, but these products are not getting installed until someone from Adobe
can give me clear direction as to what I need to do.
To bring this up to date I received a PM this morning from Jeff Wright. The message reads:
To: mandelbrot
From: Jeff A Wright
Sent: 23-Oct-2012
Subject: Private Message: Regarding your updating difficulties
Good day Paul Weston,
I am contacting you regarding the difficulties you have been having applying the Dreamweaver 12.0.2 update. If you have contacted our support team if you can please provide me with the case number it will allow me to review your interaction. In addition if you can please let me know your preferred e-mail address we can bring this conversation into e-mail as opposed to sending private messages back and forth. This will be especially important when we need to look at your installation logs for the update which you are having difficulty applying.
Thank you,
Jeff Wright
My reply:
Hi Jeff,
Unfortunately I don't have any case number(s) even though I spoke to several of your colleagues in India, bit via chat and telephone. Each time no case number was given to me. At one point I did fill out a survey, also!
If you can trace it from this, my email address is <<emailadress>>, I'm linked to <<organisation>>NHS Trust and our primary contact used to be a gentleman called Eddie Drake (either <<emailaddress>> or <<emailaddress>>). Failing that, our software license certificate number is <<id>>, end user id (whatever that is) is <<id>> and our Adobe order number for this consignment is <<id>>.
I don't want to hide this away from the community and have opened a new discussion to this end - any PMs or emails will be dropped into this unless you choose to use the discussion as a contact method.
Paul.
Please feel free to add constructive comments anyone.
Regards,
Paul.Sorry but that's not working for me - I clicked the link that you specified and got this page:

Where is the structure, header & navigation tag location? - dreamweaver cs6
I am a novice at building a web site and I just purchased CS6 and decided to view a tutorial at How to make and style a web page in Dreamweaver | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials. The tutorial is for CS5 and it refers to "structure, header and navigation" in the insert panel. Where are they in CS6? I have attached a picture of my insert panel.
Any assistance will be appreciated. You dragged the window to the toolbar, no biggie, the other options that are available are right there for you to see in the tabs next to it. If you click and drag the dotted area to the left of those tabs, it will undock from the toolbar area.
Like I said, a lot changes with DW from version to version, you really do NEED to use a tutorial for the program you actually have in order to learn about your actual program.
Here are some video tutorials for DWCS6...
