Where is driver for hl-dt-dvd-ram gh15l ata for vista 32 bit pavillion a6610?

I installed Norton security 2012 and it uninstalled the previous version as well as corrupting the driver for the DVD-Rom which now doesn't appear and needs the driver reloaded. When I go to the drivers site at HP they don't list that driver just a driver for a later version.
Thank You

  • Cannot install latest display driver for Vista 32-bit Equium A200

    Hi all,
I am trying to update my display driver to the latest revision posted for my model laptop on the Toshiba site but on running the setup exe Im returned with an error stating my system is not compatible with driver ver 7.14.10.1461.
In info clearly states it compatible with an A200 (PSAE2).
    Anyone had a similar problem.

    Hi!
On the Toshiba website I have founded only Intel display driver for your A200 PSAE2 so I think you have an Intel graphic card.
Well, I had this problem too and the solution is pretty easy: Go to the device manager => right click on graphic card => Update driver.
Now you can install the driver without problems.
    Bye

  • Still no working driver for Vista

Heck, at this rate we may be up to RC or RC2 before a working driver is released. I stated in another post that I would not post anymore on this board until a working driver for Vista was released, but was shocked to see that the driver for my Audigy 2 has not been updated and the release schedule still states TBA!!!
For those who are interested, the Vista Transformation Pack #4 provides the best of both worlds. A very similar look to the Vista GUI and the updates, drivers and support that Windows XP offers.
Honestly, why spend over $00 for a sound card and then lose most, if not all, of its functionality just to say that you are running Vista. I know that Vista is neat, but it is a resource hog and who wants to use their motherboard's onboard sound?

Actually the latest Audigy 2 ZS driver for XP works on my Windows Vista Beta 2 build 5456.5.
I've since reactivated UAC, but not driver signing since several drivers are unsigned.
But disabling UAC got my whole Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro Creative cd installed, with the exception of the DVD-Audio Player. I then installed all the software updates (except the DVD-Audio), and then the latest driver for XP and the AudioConsole that is part of the install. I did need to run the driver setup twice and let it reinstall AudioConsole over the one it installed the first time.
All works except Soundfont Banks. They don't load, the Soundfont Bank Manager will keep trying to if I start it, but it's a no go. Windows uses only the Microsoft Roland Midi Synth (but it works).
All EAX stuff in AudioConsole works. The software from the cd works too, but since alot isn't being used they're mostly useless. I just use Windows PlayControl and Creative AudioConsole to control stuff.
There's a problem with Windows Media Player where visualizations only play with cd's, but not mp3's from the hard dri've. If I toggle the Audio Quality from, say, 6/44,000 to 6/48,0000 (where I leave it), then the visualizations will show for one song then deactivate again. Kind of given up on it as I'm not about to toggle that and reset everything for every song.
Haven't messed with MediaSourcePlayer yet, except to open it and turn off all the remote control stuff.
Played some games, some music, some DVD's. Stuff sounds fine. When I plug in my headphones it switches my 2. speakers off correctly.
I did need to install PowerDVD 6 Deluxe to get commercial DVD's to play. (Adult movies played fine as they're not copy protected.) Weird DRM error in WMP when it tries to play normal Hollywood DVD's. But PowerDVD plays them fine. The PowerDVD 7 Upgrade removes 6, then fails to install. So I needed to reinstall 6, then update it to 2003e again. It works.
So, it'll be nice to get drivers and software that completely work but until then the XP drivers and most of the software does work.

  • Tecra S10-106 - 3G driver for Vista Ultimate 64bit

    Hello,
I am owner of a Toshiba Tecra S10-106. Due to the fact that Vista Ultimate 64bit is much faster as Vista business 32bit, I would like to use Vista ultimate 64bit as operating system, but I can't find the 3G driver for Vista 64bit. All drivers can be downloaded from USA in english and can be used in german, only the 3G driver is missing. Can somebody else send me a download link or tell me where I can find a suitable driver for Vista 66bit?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
To enable the card you will also need to install the 3G RF Power control utility which is here at http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/3grf-en-20090217134719.zip.
That is only half the story as I think you also need to install the Value Added Package here http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/vap-en-20090217134137.zip as this then enables the hotkeys to turn on and off the 3G wireless card.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards
    Phil

  • Compatibility of graphics driver for vista with xp

I have a HP Pavilion a6320in desktop. It came installed with Vista OS. I have now installed Win XP. Will the graphics driver for Vista:  NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 420, 6150 LE, 6150SE nForce 430, 7100/NVIDIA nForce 630i and 8200, also work for Win XP?

    OK.
Now that is new information that you should have shared earlier with us.
You need to use all of the drivers that are available at the ECS website for the  ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 motherboard. Do not use the HP drivers for the replacement motherboard.
FYI ..Once you replace the motherboard with a different brand than delivered your desktop PC ceases to be an HP desktop PC.

  • Drivers for Satellite L300-1AN for Vista 64-bit

    Hello,
I just bougt a notebook, Toshiba Satellite L300-1AN, and i Intend to install Vista 64-bit OS but i didn't find drivers for Vista 64-bit (only for Vista 32-bit). Can you help me withsome information or some links?
Another question (I am not an expert): my notebook have 4Gb RAM and some guys told me that only a 64-bit OS can use all my 4Gb RAM. Is this true?
    Thank you,
    Calin

Usually the drivers have to be specifically designed for 64-bit OS, and the installer must definitely not contain any 16-bit code (which is not compatible with 64-bit OS, but which is still a common thing nowadays - for the 32-bit drivers only, obviously). Some 32-bit drivers are somehow compatible with 64-bit OS, but there's a performance limitation (and possible conflicts with other drivers and memory resource allocation; 100% compatibility with the OS, as well as the OS' manufacturer certification, are some of the key features that will make Windows 7 better than Vista, since most of the problems are related to poorly written drivers).
Searching Toshiba's site for 64-bit drivers is definitely not a solution, since the technical specs on the website are not so detailed and cannot be used in order to narrow the search area (and there's no field to search by chipset driver, regardless the product series; even with such a field, not having the files indexed properly will bring no result).
The RealTek (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Sound) and Intel (Video, Memory Controller, USB...) drivers are easy to find, but the Toshiba-specific drivers, as well as the Toshiba applications, are a little trickyer to get. Those are the ones I'm interested in.

  • Can someone help me find a workaround to get flash to work in XP Pro 64 bit, like there is a workaround for vista 64 bit?

Can someone help me find a workaround to get flash to work in XP Pro 64 bit, like there is a workaround for vista 64 bit?
I am trying to get rid of all my 32 bit apps because the more of them you run in 64 bit the less resources are available.
Firefox has a 64 bit browser they call the Shiretoko build. I love it, it's twice as fast as a heavily tweaked 32 bit firefox. Java has a 64 bit plugin that works with it.
    The last holdout is Adobe.
Microsoft is making Vista and Win 7 64 bit as easy and smooth as the 32 bit versions as a means to get people to start using them.
Linux has a way to make flash work with 64 bit.
Remember when we all had a 16 bit operating system and how much better things got with 32 bit?
Adobe, it's time!.. don't you see that?
Can someone help me solve my problem? Please?

no the audigy 2 zs is pci based. they have another called audigy 2 zs notebook and that's the one for laptop. if you can't find it from your vendor, you can always try getting it from someone else.

  • Satellite A60-156: Where to find graphic driver for Vista

I've recently upgraded my A60 with new dvd, memory and hard drive.
Upgraded to Vista and all works perfect except i cannot find an upgrade for my display driver.
Just shows as standard graphics adaptor and i cannot get any 3d functionality on it even for Vista Windows games or screensavers.
Can anyone advise as to where I can get updated drivers for this function? Graphics card is ati radeon 7000igp.
    Thanks.

What to say It seems Toshiba page doesnt provide any Vista drivers for this unit.
So you could try to use an graphic driver from the 3rd party website like www.omegadrivers.net
But note; these are not Toshiba drivers and therefore the drivers are not tested on the Toshiba notebooks. You can install it but only at your own risk.
    Best regards & good luck

  • Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT Driver for Vista

    Hi mac-world!
I'm using BootCamp to start Windows Vista on my Mac Book Pro. I recently bought a seperate TFT-Display from Belinea, which I connect to my Mac Book via DVI. This isn't a Problem while using MacOS, but in Vista I can't adjust the resolution of the seperate Display to more than 1024x768 px. I already installed the Belinea Driver, but that doesn't solve the problem.
I am wondering, if I maybe need a driver update for the grafic-card. Unfortunately, Nvidia doesn't provide a driver download, but says, I need to contact my Laptop-Vendor for this issue. I didn't find a driver-download section on this page. Does someone know a solution? Where do I get the new driver?
    Thanks in advance
    regards

In my case after going through normal Shut Down procedures, I
noted that after I go through normal shut-down-from-Windows, the machine does not power off. I can only turn off the machine by pressing the power switch for a few seconds.
    When I do not press this switch, Windows restarts after about ten minutes;
after, however, I receive a brief report (which I never manage to read in full)
informing me that a software may not have been properly installed or that I
    need a windows update.
This problem appeared long after I installed all the software that I use,
and I have checked whether I'm fully updated (I am).
Lately when I start-up after experiencing this problem, Windows indicates
that the problem is caused by an NVIDIA graphics driver and suggests that I
check for a driver update. I have tried the NVIDIA Website but there was no
reference to the graphics card installed in my machine, namely GeForce 8600M
GT - I only found a driver for GeForce 8700M GT.
I have since solved the problem as rerported in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1492731&tstart=0
However, I stll wonder why there is no reference to 8600 in the NVIDIA site.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT driver for Vista x64

    Hello,
I have an issue with my new MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz 17" that was released on the 5th of June, 2007.
It has NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT installed on it and I simply cannot find Vista 64 bit drivers for it.
I have tried the latest beta Vista x64 drivers (163.11) downloaded from nVidia's official website. I have tried several previous versions including 100.97 one, which contains drivers for 8600M GT model. But they don't work with me. All the driver installation programs allert the following error and quit:
'The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit'.
I also tried Vista 32-bit drivers for 8600M GT. The driver installation program claims the operation system is wrong and quits.
    Anybody has the same issue?
Does a working driver of nVidia GeForce 8600M GT for Vista x64 exist at all?
MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz   Windows Vista   nVidia GeForce 8600M GT

There was one Apple's presentstion where they boot into Windows Vista. So if you claim you can do it why do you forget about Vista x64 customers? I reckon it is because of Leopard that is coming. But it's not an excuse.
I'm currently working in Vista x64 and everything is fine except one thing, I cannot find a working graphics card driver and it is manufacturer's responsibility to provide it. Apple knew there going to be customers who will install Vista x64 on their computers and they at Apple didn't care about it because I guess it's a lame war between you know who.
So why you don't make everything perfect to attract even more Windows customers but instead you hint that you don't care about Vista x64 as you are getting your own 64-bit OS soon. So now they are forcing me to wait having been announced that I can use Vista. But isn't that kind of lame that it's slightly tardy? Why I should wait for Leopard launch if I was insured that Windows will work on my Macbook Pro? Because Apple claim you can run Windows. And don't say it's not official. Who else if not Apple made it possible to run Windows on Mac.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to insult you. I'm just angry that I cannot find a working driver.
