Is the Encore CS6 version the final release of this product?
"Yes. The trend in the video and broadcast industry is moving away
from physical media distribution. The future is in cloud and streaming
content. Therefore we are focusing more on products that deliver to
streaming services.
For example, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Premiere Pro CC
include a new feature allowing users to create iPad-ready video with

Oooh... iPad ready video!

    where is adobe encore?

Excellent question. I was gonna tell you "go to https://creative.adobe.com/fr/products/category/audiovideo and download the cs6 version" but it's not there.
Good news is, you might still find it here : http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html but (i think) it's hidden in the Production Suite CS6 download (i let you give it a try to the 5GB dl… please come back here to confirm it's included)

  • Where is Adobe Encore CS 6 at to download in the creative cloud?

I've searched every where I could in the cloud and cannot find adobe encore cs 6 to download. I am a member of the creative cloud and they say members have access to CC and CS6 apps. At least that is my understanding. Does anyone know how or have a link to download it? It obviously isn't in my adobe application manager.
    Thank you for your help.

    Hey Jeff
No, I can download stuff, it just seems that I'm not getting everything. Like being able to open creative cloud app from start menu... I can't figure out why I don't have that.
and my application manager doesn't look like the one on the adobe website, though I think that's the actual creative cloud app... I've attached a screen shot of it. See if it looks right to you.
I hope i'm making sense. Thank you,

If you installed Premiere Pro and Encore CS6 via the Cloud using the instructions at http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html then your PPro/Encore bundle was activated through your Cloud membership
If you are no longer a Cloud member, that activation is GONE and Encore will not work... no Cloud programs continue to work without a Cloud membership
You may buy the standalone Premiere Pro and Encore CS6 bundle at the link below... on the 2nd page

  • No Menu designs showing

My first post having just joined the community and a beginner in the world of Adobe Cs6 although am using it all at a basic level so far..
I have just downloaded and installed the additonal content for Premier Pro Cs6 and Encore but when I look to create a menu from a design template in Encore (I have all my sequences imported from Premier Pro etc) nothing shows when I browse the Libraty list Set, all are listed - Corporate Education Entertainment etc.   Funny thing is when I first installed it and re opened a project in Encore I could see a visual template menu design showing in the bottom right box (Halloween I think) but when I then went to the Set drop down list there are no menu design templates to see.  If I click on any of the set list I get a very quick flash of a box which looks like it says 'Initialising Library' with a yellow bar but its so fast I cant see what it is doing.
I want to create my first menu project in Encore using a basic menu for three clips of video so any guidance on this would be much appreciated.

The fact that you see the sets on that selection indicates that you have the folders for the library. The fact that you see no menus suggests that those folders may be empty. First, make sure you know whether you are looking at all content, or only one of the selections (menus, buttons, backgrounds, etc).
Next, check to see what's where.
In Encore, Edit -> Preferences -> Media. See the location of the library?
Now, in Windows Explorer, go to that location. What do you see? You should see only folders. Now look in one, is there anything in there?
    Post back!

  • Building dvd fails

    Hi All,
I've been experiencing a problem for a while where exporting an encore project to either dvd folder or ISO will cause errors when attempting to burn the resulting folder/ISO.
I've successfully burnt direct to a dvd-r but would like to use the other options more than burning direct.
First of all, there are no errors reported when creating a DVD Folder (VOBs etc) or ISO - just when burning them to a disc.
The errors are different - when attempting to build the dvd in nero with vob files there is a "reallocation error" failed message that appears. I've read up about this type of error quite a bit, using FixVTS and also creating new bup files etc using another tool (can't remember the name off the top of my head). Both of these do not iradicate the error. Even if I ignore this error another appears stating "there was a minor error that has occured. The burn may not be successful". I've burnt one disc before to see if it worked but obviously... no joy.
Creating an ISO completes sucessfully but buring one is a different problem. I've created a 6GB disc to burn on dual layer media. I've used nero and also imgburn to burn the iso, on two seperate machines (using the same burner). The burn completes without error but is not readable in a dvd drive (xbox 360, has dual layer support), it's been seen once where the disc is not recognised in the drive that burnt it!
The burner is pretty reliable other than burning files created within Encore (2.0). For the last month I believed it was either my OS (XP SP3 and XP SP2) or the media/drive. I have a couple of other tests to try yet - like burning the files using another burner but just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I'm very close to buying another drive - which may turn out to be a red herring.
    Cheers,
    MJ

    >I've used nero and also imgburn to burn the iso, on two seperate machines (using the same burner). The burn completes without error but is not readable in a dvd drive (xbox 360, has dual layer support),
2 problems immediately leaop to mind here.
1 - If you are using DVD-R DL, then an X-Box will never see that at all.
Format is not supported - from memory they might read DVD+R DL.
2 - Nero. Never use this if you can help it, especially if burning from a folder.
Other questions that would be good to know the answers to are:
1 - What brand of media are you using? DL is notoriously picky, and I would never use anything other than Verbatim DVD+R DL.
2 - What brand of burner are you using, and what speed are you burning at? Again, DL is often rated at 2.4X maximum, although newer combinations of drive/media can go as fast as 4x.

  • Where is the Wish list for Encore 2?

    Hello
I have a few things that I would like to wish for in the next patch / version.
    1. The ability to import power point slide shows into encore as a slide show. This would make it really handy to import some ones previously created slide show and turn it into a DVD slide show. It doesn't have to do all the fancy animations or transitions, just import the slide shows. Yes I know I can export from power point to jpgs. Have you really looked at the results? Crap is all I have to say. Of course I could recreate them in Photoshop or some other program that lets picture and titling be created. You know how much extra time that step costs?
    2. Could you please put a tab in the project pane for a list of slide shows, play lists and assets? I actually like the tabs better than organizing by folders.
    3. Could you make a project manager for encore that is similar to the one in premier? I would like to be able to trim the project and remove "temporary files". I especially hate the number of temporary menus that accumulate in the menus folder. I want to be able to back up the necessary files only, not all the junk. it would also be nice if it would grab the video(I) that make up the project and compile them in to the folder that I designate as the new project folder, just like premier does.
    4. Can you make a key that would allow me to select multiple files when using the pick whip? Or could we just drag and drop files to a play list or to the box where the end action and such are? The pick whip looks cool, but it is so slow to get things done with it.
    5. its not really to hard to now, but it would be nice if there was some method for telling encore that you are creating an Easter egg. Currently there are a few steps to doing it and it is all manual. It would be nice if you could designate a button as being an Easter egg and then tell encore which choice of ways you want it to handle it. For instance is it just a simple Easter egg where you go on the right direction on a button and viola, you found it. Or is it a button that you go to and it goes to a duplicate menu and then you need to hit the right button a couple of times and then viola, you found it. Any thing to make my DVD creation to have a few less steps.
    6. Another thing that I think encore needs has to do with the flowchart. Give me some zoom on that baby. I like it, but it would be nice if I could zoom out to look at the overall structure.
    7. The ability to normalize the audio across the entire DVD. My wife made a disc and some parts were loud and others were so quiet. It would be nice to not have to do this for each clip before in premier, but leave it till the final stage of DVD production so that it only has to be done once.
As time goes on and I think of more I will add to this list. If you have an idea put it here, maybe it will end up in the next patch / version.

    > My wish is they get the bloody software to work properly in the first place. There are many inadequacies in the software that I would like to see added, but frankly, this is the WORST product I have ever seen Adobe relese. I cannot produce a single DVD project without it crashing, bugging out, and generally being a pain in the butt. If you see the forums on here, and across the net, you will see I am not the only person voicing this, and I have used $20 software that fares way better than this.
    Hmmm.
I think I will probably be wasting my time here, but things are not as bad as you are making out by a long, long way.
I have personally created many hundred successful DVD projects with Encore, and whilst I have indeed experienced difficulties from time to time, I can assure you the first - and only - time I went across to the Dark Side and used DVDSP, things were considerably worse. Never has Encore taken my Audio files, and muxed them almost to the end & then replaced the audio with complete digital silence! So before you seriously go elsewhere, I would take a long hard look at all the complaints in the Apple forums as well.
As I have pointed out far too many times, the grass may look greener.....but in my experience it seldom - if ever - is. There ois no such thing as bug free software, it's impossible to achieve.
    >but from what I can tell, Encore was a "bought in" product that they absorbed when taking over another company. It seems that maybe it wasn't such a good move after all.
It wasn't a move at all - EncoreDVD is
    i licensed
from Sonic Solutions, and Adobe have not bought Sonic Solutions.
    >My concern is that software companies should not release faulty software. With regard to my hardware, I am a professional graphic and video designer with two high end, quad core workstations that I rebuild with operating systems and upgrade new hardware regularly. They are not used for anything else besides professional software. All files are saved across to a server.
I can see one of the possible problems right away.
Quad core? AFAIK, these systems simply did not exist when Encore was coded. It's quite possible you have a hardware setup that is completely untested. I may be off the mark here though.
    >I am well aware that people use hardware and situations that the developers never envisaged, but that is what Beta testing is all about.
    Twaddle.
Beta testers simply have no chance of being able to test on every possible software/hardware combination. It's not reasonable to try & achieve this - the Beta cycles are (usually) all about making sure the software works properly on the largest number of systems that can be assembled. This is not going to stop people constantly attempting to install & run it on untested combinations though - and to be brutally blunt with you, no professional company would even consider being right on the bleeding edge of current technology without having an older system set up that actually conforms to the system requirements as laid out in the product documentation. For EncoreDVD 2, this is as follows:
Intel Pentium 4 1.4GHz for DV
Intel Pentium 4 3.4GHz or Dual Intel Xeon 2.8GHz for HDV
AMD must have SSE2 instruction sets.
There is no mention at all of Dual Core, or Quad Core CPU here - therefore this has to be considered as untested, and whilst it may work, it will not be guaranteed to work.
There is also NO mention of guaranteed functionality to a server. The specs actually say:
i Dedicated 7200 rpm drive for DV and HDV editing. Striped array (RAID 0) for HD
(This is my personal opinion, not official word from Adobe, I have to add. I do not work for Adobe in any way)

  • Where can I download Adobe Encore?

I am using Adobe Creative Cloud and wanted to create a DVD. Once I finished the editing in Premiere Pro CC i wanted to use the Adobe program Encore, wich I heard was perfect for this purpose. After some research I found out that Encore is not part of the Creative Cloud (I can't understand why) but that you could easily use the old version of Encore with the new Premiere Pro CC, there's only is no Dynamic Link between them, so you have to export and import a few times (like it's shown here: Using Premiere Pro CC & Encore CS6 for Bluray, DVD, and Interactive Video for iPad,ATV, and Mobile HD | DAVTechTable | A… ). So I wanted to download the CS6 version of Encore, but I couldn't find the download site. I only found this: Download CS6 products , but Encore is not in the list.
Does anyone know where I can download the CS6 version of Encore?
    Thanks in forward,
    Niko

Stan Jones, Thanks again, Your Comments are good, little nuggets everywhere. They bring new questions
If Encore is at “end of life”, what application is the intended replacement.  No point in using the “end of Life” version when there is probably an intended replacement I want to learn to use for the future work.
I understand your comments regarding the buttons in Encore etc, I experimented with that so I see how it works.
I exported as an image (recalling) choosing the MPEG2 - DVD and I got the two files you refer too, but they don't play together without importing them back into Encore or  Premier pro so what's the point.  I already know how they play in Premier.  They play individually with Windows applications but I really wanted to see everything working together. Hence I would have to burn a DVD to get them to play together.  Tell me if I am wrong about this.
You  said " I like to "build" to a folder for testing. You can play a folder with many programs."  Okay this is what I want, but what programs will play the folder?
Sounds like I will have to tweak my video and take it as far as I can in Premier Pro and burn a sample DVD and begin testing using the DVD version.  If I recall correctly when you burn a DVD with Windows DVD maker it wants to create a menu for you, which is Okay but, trouble is, the program did not recognize my chapter markers I created in Premier Pro.  Not everything is perfect.
    Comments appreciated

  • Why does Encore keep crashing and where are the media files?

I am having big problems with Encore right now.  I have developed a rather complex DVD with something like 20 movies on it.  The video files associated with these movies are all in .wmv format; about 4gb total in size and are stored on an external drive as is the Encore file with which I am authoring this DVD.  This drive has a USB connection to my computer which I know is not the best but I have managed to author an earlier draft of this DVD no problem.
The problem now is that Encore keeps crashing.   Also, in the process, a lot of disc space is eaten up on my "C" drive.  I don't know why this is and where to go to delete these files.  I have defragged my computer and my anti-virus scans are up to date.  I am running a windows XP Home Edition O/S with an Intel pentium 4 CPU, 2.79 ghz with 2.5 gb of RAM.  I went to edit>preferences>media>location in Encore and got that my media files are on my C drive in Adobe>library but, when I looked, they didn't seem to be there.  Super frustrating!   Also my computer is super-slow too.   I deleted all temp files and there is no spyware to speak of, according to my virus scan software (Panda).
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to address this problem?  Many thanks!
    Lewis

I purchased CC subscription last month and we just finished all the mp4 of the wedding movies.
Now its time to burn them to BluRay.

I have old Premiere 8 and 9 on my computer.
Now I installed Premiere Pro CC 2014 which doesn't have Encore or templates  for titles with it. I have downloaded the Encore cs6 which is .exe file but when I double click it states their is no installer. It needs to be put into the folder with the other files that have the installer included with them. I can't find that folder. I am  using a 30 day free trial and I haven't yet been able to complete one movie to DVD. 6 days gone already!
