Where is "gallery"

how do i publish a web gallery from iPhoto. i cannot see the "gallery" button, just the "mobileMe" icon, and clicking on that only tells me that i AM signed in , and takes me to the "account", "sync", etc... window. i have no "gallery" anywhere in, or through, iPhoto.
thanks.

i am pretty savvy, but this solution was beyond my experience.
i had followed the thread and deleted the .mac/mobileMe password access in "keychain access", but what Apple Support told me i needed to do was...
delete .mac/mobileme password in keychain access
log into mobile Me through "system preferences"
enter a bogus password
quit system preferences and restart the computer
log in correctly to mobileMe through "system preferences"
and now i can publish a gallery. mobileMe was showing all the correct information through the website and the "system preferences" route, but iPhoto preferences was telling me my account WAS NOT set up.

  • Where did Web Photo Gallery on Bridge CS5 go?

    When I first installed Adobe Design Premium CS5 on my Windows PC, I was able to use Web Photo Gallery from Bridge. Now it is just vanished. I click on Output and the right panel, where Web Gallery options was supposed to appear, it's just blank. How can I get it back? Thank you.

    Hi,
    well previously it worked to get the reset window. However the reset did not help.
    This time I didn't even get to the reset step.
    I also tried to overinstall without previous deinstalling. Still had to update everything including the output module v. 2.1 No change.
    New ideas that could help?
    Thanks.

  • Picasa photo gallery problems...

    I created a web gallery with Picasa to add to the website I'm creating.  The problem is that when I go to the url where the gallery lies it will not appear, the only thing that appears is a icon saying that the latest macromedia flash player must be installed.  That's not too strange, the strange part is that I have the latest flash player loaded and it still won't appear.  Why is it calling for macromedia and not adobe?  Can someone look at the source code and/or let me know why I can't view this but others can on their computers.  Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

    Let's create an example, only with one flash (translated from German DW):
    Create a new file.
    Switch to code mode.
    STRG-A (or CTRL-A) --> mark the text over all.
    Delete all.

  • Gallery showing all images

    I am having a problem where the Gallery application on my new N73 is showing _all_ the images on my phone, regardless of their name or format.
    For example I have 5 images belonging to an application installed on the memory card that are named either *.off or *.dat in the folder, but both Gallery and File Manger can open and view the files.
    Is there any way to tell Gallery to only look for images in certain folders, or hide folders from Gallery's eyes?
    I'm not so concerned about File Manager as its fairly nice to be able to see files if I go looking for them, but having the Gallery cluttered up is a pain.
    Dan

    Nope Sadly not - by default all images are shown in the gallery and there's no way of changing that... unless you install some 3rd party programs...
    I use one called Smart Guard Pro - google for it. There's a trial version, but could be a bit too much for what you need - it requires a password to access the hidden images.
    It also lets you hide Texts & contacts etc.

  • Swf gallery (Actionscript 3) won't play in Safari or IE, only FireFox

    I have a flash gallery I created using Flash CS4 and Actionscript 3. It plays perfectly in FireFox, but in IE and Safari it just shows me a blank space on the page where the gallery should be. As a test I uninstalled Flash Player, and FireFox and Safari showed me the message that a newer version of Flash was needed along with a link to get it, but IE showed nothing. Now that Flash is re-installed, only FireFox actually loads/plays the gallery. With IE it doesn' tmatter if I use the 32-bit or 64-bit, or if compatibility mode is on or off. I tried republishing with Flash 9 set instead of Flash 10, but that made no difference. It fails with the HTML file generated out of Flash, as well as the page I created in Dreamweaver and used the Insert Media command to insert the .swf:
    http://www.arttoharmony.com/sales/Art-To-Harmony-Gallery.html (auto-generated HTML out of Flash)
    http://www.arttoharmony.com/sales/index.php (Dreamweaver page)
    I'm using all the latest browsers, Windows 7 (64-bit), Dreamweaver and Flash CS4. A couple of years ago when I had CS3, I created a similar gallery using Actionscript 2, and it continues to work fine in all 3 browsers:
    http://somerset-silver.com/Gallery.html
    I'd appreciate any ideas to get this working in Safari and IE (not only the gallery to load, but the Flash Player detection to work properly in IE). I'm a very infrequent Flash user, so I was hoping it was something obvious, but I can't find the problem.
    thanks,
    Luann

    I just tried with IE and its working fine
    even i use windows 7.
    use 32bit IE and check if any other flash media (like youtube, etc.. ) is working fine on it?

  • Add pictures to iTunes in Artists and Gallery tab, how?

    dear All,
    I just cant figure out how to add pictures to Artists portion in iTunes, where a Gallery tab showed up with the recent update (at least for me!)...
    any help would be great, so I don't feel I can't do even this!
    Mike

    Select all songs in the album, get info, then paste the artwork into the box at the bottom rhs of the info page. Exactly the same as iTunes 10 except that right click, paste doesn't work - you need to use cmd V.

  • Is there a way to send an email from the web gallery module

    Hi all,
    does anyone know if there is a way to send an email from the webmodule, for example to send the link where the gallery was posted?
    Thanks for any help.
    Bart

    I'm certainly not aware of any way, thus my post here (please cast a vote):
    http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom_sdk_email_support
    I don't know if you could get away with using LrHttp to open a mailto link.
    The only other option I know is to send data to your web server and have it send SMTP.

    I dont want to use a files browser  and hide my files and i dont want  to use an application  to encrypt them because  I just  want to sort my pictures in a folder  and my video in afolder.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    You can also try to remove them from the images folder and the  My videos folder, because this is where the Gallery will look for pictures and videos, and put them in another folder then reorganize them in sub folders within your new folder

  • Problem linking to MobileMe album created in Aperture

    I use multiple computers and I'm trying to sort out synchronising photo albums between them.
    On my main iMac I use Aperture and have created and published a number of photo albums to the gallery. I can view the albums from any machine via the Safari web browser and can download individual photographs.
    On my Macbook or any of the other machines, when I try to subscribe to an album using the "subscribe in iPhoto" option, iPhoto starts up, tries to link and comes back with a message 'There are no photos in the subscription “MobileMe Atom Feed.”'
    I can set up a subscription in iPhoto by accessing MobileMe and copying the URL, but this doesn't allow me to add photographs to the album from within iPhoto.
    Any suggestions of what I might be doing wrong or how to resolve this situation. Incidentally, I'm using iPhoto '09 on both of the machines I am trying to get to set up a subscription to an album on.
    Thanks, Brian

    Glenn: Thanks for the reply. I've gone back through and examined things again and here is what is happening, although I can't explain why it's happening.
    You are correct about the differences in the URL formats for Mobile Me. However, it is not possible while on the http://www.me.com/gallery to send an invite to a friend to subscribe to your gallery. That ability is not there. You must click on the other link in the upper right corner that takes you to the actual gallery with the URL format http://gallery.me.com. Once you are at that location, then and only then is the button available called "Tell A Friend".
    True. I only mention the other link because there is, within iPhoto itself, a "Subscribe to Photo Feed..." option under the File menu. here you manually type or paste the URL pointing to the gallery you wish to subscribe to. If you pasted the incorrect gallery link, you will get the same failure you reported earlier.
    I wonder if using that option on your end would succeed or not, Try it and let us know.
    So, while on the http://gallery.me.com website gallery, I can click on the "Tell A Friend" button and send an invitation to someone to view the gallery. The e-mail that it creates contains the correct link format. I then send this e-mail to myself (using a different e-mail address) and upon receiving the mail click on the link provided and it takes me to the correct URL web page gallery where I can view the photos and now there's an option at the top called "Subscribe". When I click on this button it asks if I want to subscribe via an RSS reader or to iPhoto. I select iPhoto and iPhoto then opens automatically and then asks me if I wish to subscribe to the gallery. I click "yes" and an error message pops up that says there are no photos published (even though I'm looking right at them). All of the links are correct in that they are pointing to the http://gallery.me.com/username/galleryname address. But it still does not work.
    The only way I can get it to work is to go into Aperture - click on the mobile me gallery that I have published and then click on the button at the bottom of the page that says "Tell A Friend". Once again it generates an e-mail with an invitation to view the gallery. I send that e-mail to my other address and when I receive it I click on the link, it takes me to the correct URL web gallery where I can see the photos just as before. When I click on the "subscribe" button at the top, iPhoto launches - asks me if I wish to subscribe - I click "yes" - and the photos begin downloading into iPhoto with no problem.
    So - to sum up. If I send an invite to a friend to view and subscribe to an album from the actuall gallery web page it does not work. If I send the invite from Aperture (which is where the gallery was published from) then the subscription process works. In both instances the URLs that are being referenced are the correct http://gallery.me.com web site.
    Nothing has changed at my end and I'm pretty sure there is a bug here on the Mobile Me website that is generating this problem. I've seen this same problem now on my wife's computer and on my parent's computers - so it's not just an isolated issue on my computer.
    Nice summary of the issue. I have to admit, all methods of subscribing to a Photo Feed are working on my end. If you don't mind, you can send me an invite to one of these troublesome galleries, and I'll see if I can subscribe to it on my end (Check my profile in the upper right of this page for mt email address).
    I guess I should report it to Apple. The only problem with that is you never hear back from them. Thanks for the suggestions anyway and let me know if you have any other ideas.
    True. However, it is possible to signup for a free Apple Developer Account here:
    http://developer.apple.com/products/mac/program/
    You don;t actually need to be a develper, but you will be able to submit Bug Reports that get assigned a case number and the engineers respond and even may ask for further information. I've done it myself.

  • Widgets nested within widgets?

    Is it possible to nest a sliding panel widget within a tabbed panels widget?
    I am trying to ste up an image galleries page where each gallery is a tab and within each tab the gallery images are sliding panels. I have the basic framework built but the sliding panels widget won't move to the next sliding panel. I have attached the html file that I currnetlt have.
    Thanx in advance!

    The server queued the files, a online url is always better, because we can see all the files you use, not just your structure.

  • Randome error

    I have a gallery with a button inside a movie clip on my stage. When the button i puched it should navigate to another keyframe with the label "frontpage" back on the main timeline.
    When I test the movie, the first time i puch the buttom it leads me back to "frontpage" but when I try a 2nd time it jumps back to "frontpage" but comes with this error:
    TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
        at delaneytrager2_fla::gallerytotal_16/clickHandler_back()[delaneytrager2_fla.gallerytotal_1 6::frame1:239]
    The AS for the button is as follows:
    stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, clickHandler_back);
    function clickHandler_back(event:MouseEvent):void{
        if (event.target.name!=null){
            switch(event.target.name) {

                MovieClip(root).gotoAndStop("frontpage2");
                break;

    Not really sure what to do about this error message..?

    this is all the code from frame 1 i imagine it frame 1 inside the movie clip where my gallery is - since it's the only place there is 239 lines.
    The button is basicly the back_btn from the post about "gallery name confussion" you just helped me out with. So it's how i can get out of my gallery movieclip and back on the mainstage to a specific frame.

  • Spry: Drop Down Menu

    Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me with the
    following...
    In the Spry Photo Gallery, I would like the drop down menu to
    swap an image (not the main image from the slide show, but rather a
    separate image elsewhere on the page) for another, so the result
    would be for each View in the drop down, there would be an
    associated image that displays on the page.
    Thanks in advance for any help,
    Sal

    Actually I figured it out.
    I simply added a new tag to the galleries.xml file called
    <where></where>
    <galleries>
    <gallery base="vulcano/" file="photos.xml">
    <sitename></sitename>
    <photographer></photographer>
    <contactinfo></contactinfo>
    <email></email>
    <security><![CDATA[]]> </security>
    <locationinfo></locationinfo>
    <where></where>
    </gallery>
    </galleries>
    And in the photos.xml file I place the path to the file name
    inside the <where> tag
    <gallery
    base = ""
    background = "#FFFFFF"
    banner = "#F0F0F0"
    text = "#000000"
    link = "#0000FF"
    alink = "#FF0000"
    vlink = "#800080"
    date = "2/7/2007">
    <sitename></sitename>
    <photographer></photographer>
    <contactinfo></contactinfo>
    <email></email>
    <security><![CDATA[]]> </security>
    <locationinfo></locationinfo>
    <where>images/filename.jpg</where>
    And then in the HTML file I added the following to hold my
    image
    <div spry:region="dsGallery"><img
    src="{where}"></div>

  • Html web galleries not generating

    I am using LR 2.4.  Mac G4, 10.4.11
    Last night I tried to generate an html gallery with about 350 photos.  After about five hours, it was not done.  So I gave up.
    Today, I cannot even get html galleries TO DISPLAY, much less generate/export.  (Flash galleries will display.)
    No matter which gallery template I use, and not matter how few photos I use as a trial, I am now just getting a black screen.  The first time I tried today, the first dozen or so thumbnails filled in, then in place of following thumbs, I got question marks; but now i only get a black screen where the gallery should be.
    The folders containing all of the photos in question, have recently been synchronized and are all up to date.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Dean

    What does Activity Monitor reveal?
    Sounds like you may have stretched the hardware beyond its capabilities, and a restart may cure.
    How much RAM and how much free disk space out of how much? Do you generally work with most apps quit while in LR?
