Where is Geo Locaiton site preferences saved?

I work for a library and we have a custom profile for our public when using Firefox. We have a set homepage link which requests the user to share their location. I want to know what file is that information saved to so I can set the homepage geo location preference in advance.

All such Site Preferences are stored in the permissions.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
*Click the "[[Site Identity Button|Site Identity Button]]" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
*Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
*Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to inspect the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

I probably just missed something stupid but I could use some help please.

Every financial institution (bank, credit union,...), every news outlet (print/TV/Radio/blog) reaches out to millions of elderdly folks and other non-geeks and tells them to run away as soon as they dont see a Key or Lock on a secured page (or maybe so-called secured page from what I get you are trying to push through).
This is a major Change Management disaster waiting to happen... Not just for Firefox but for every web site using secure transactions. Countless organisations are going to get calls from users telling them, "Your site is not secured, Oprah and CNN told me so".
Go for color scheme or other visual indicator to warn of security level, but absolutely dont lose the icon !

They are only needed for firefox sync.

Where does WebMail store user preferences

I have enabled WebMail on my server. Each user that logs in is able to change its preference settings at WebMail, e.g. # of msgs. shown per page, etc..
This is okay, but when I delete a user, I guess that there is a config file left somewhere.
Has anybody an idea where WebMail stores the user preferences for each user and how to properly delete them when removing a user from the system ?

Are Preferences saved as a file

Hi -
I will be moving CS3 to a new computer in the next couple of weeks. Having already needed to reset preferences a couple of times, I am not looking forward to having to build all the prefs in PS and Bridge from scratch again. Are the preferences saved as a file somewhere that can be copied/saved to a CD, and then loaded into the same spot in the new machine's file structure, so that when I start up PS or Bridge, the prefs and workplace setup will already be what I'm used to? I'll be going from XP to XP, so the folder structure will be the same.
Is there anything else I should be aware of for a move like this, other than to be sure to deactivate and uninstall from the old machine?

Copy everything in:
C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings
to your CD (or pen drive is better). Then copy it into the right place on the new computer after you've installed PS. If you have your own actions/brushes/etc, copy them over too.

You will need an app (or apps) on your iPad that is capable of reading the documents, as they will be saved with the app - if you don't have such an app then there is nothing to transfer them to or to read/access them.
One method of transferring them is toconnect your iPad to your computer's iTunes, select it's app tab, and then scroll to the bottom of it - you should the apps That you've got that are capable of file-sharing (if you've got any). Selecting/high-lighting one of them should then allow you to add files to it via the box to the right of it.
An alternative way to get the documents onto your iPad is if the app that you want to transfer them to has a wifi setting, which will then allow you to transfer the documents wirelessly. You can also send the documents to yourself as attachments and then use Mail's 'open in' facility to copy them into your chosen app.

File Sharing lets you transfer files between iPad and your computer. You can share files created with a compatible app and saved in a supported format.

Select the compound clip and do Clip->Break Apart Clip Items (or Cmd-Shift-G).

the data is to be transferred and function modules to be invoked are temporarily stored in tables ARFCSSTATE and ARFCSDATA. once the receiving system is ready , the entried in these tables wiil be deleted.

Present scenario : when the Sales Order is created the Order confirmation is sent irrespective of credit block of the sales order.
Requirement : Order confirmation ZA00 sent to the partner only for those Sales orders which does not have credit block and ZCLE sent to the partner if the order has credit block.
Now i want to know where exactly to check the output types "ZA00" and 'ZCLE' based on the credit block to send the confirmation to partener.
Quick help highly appreciated......

Thanks for the info. But here in this case I have to send the confiramation based on credit limit check. If credit limit check exceeds "ZCLE' should go as confirmation else 'ZA00' should go as confirmation.
Where can we check the credit limit whether it exceeded or not. My doubt is whether it is config issue or do we need to write code user exit or routine to send the specific output type for confirmation.

Restarting Lightroom - how to do it *and* have preferences saved (& start up with specified catalog)

I know one way to restart Lightroom (with specified catalog), however preferences are not saved:
Win: lightroom.exe -restart {catalog}
Mac: open {catalog}
However sometimes (usually) it would be better if preferences were saved on the way out.
PS - I can exit Lightroom with preferences saved by stuffing the keyboard (Alt/Cmd-FX), but how to get it to startup again (with specified catalog).
Any ideas?

Before invoking those commands to start LR on a catalog, politely terminate the application:
Windows: taskkill /im lightroom.exe
Mac: osascript -e 'tell application "Adobe Photoshop LIghtroom 5" to quit'
These send a "quit" event to the application. A quickie experiment indicates that LR does indeed save its preferences before terminating, but you should definitely test it more thoroughly.
(I knew the Windows solution immediately, but had to Google the Mac one after discovering the Unix "kill pid" isn't trapped by Mac apps.)
If you're invoking these as shell scripts from a plugin, I think you might have to do some more magic to ensure that the shell script doesn't terminate immediately after it kills its parent (the LR process). On Windows, I think (but not positive) the following would work:
start killandrestart.bat
On Unix, I think the magic is:
nohup killandrestart.sh &
but I haven't tried it on Mac OS.

Module_data where clause using globals.site.dateNow

I'm trying (and failing) to get a list of blog posts that are excluding the not yet released posts, here is what I have:
{module_data resource="blogposts" version="v3" fields="id,siteId,blogId,postTitle,createBy,releaseDate,createDate,lastUpdateDate,enabled ,deleted,disableComments,slug,postUrl,metaBlogPostTitle,metaBlogPostDescription" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'blog.releaseDate':\{'$lt':'{{globals.site.dateNow}}'\}\}" order="-id" collection="myData"}
The "query" works but it ignores the globals.site.dateNow and displays everything (including posts greater than today).
If I do a greater than (in testing), it doesn't display anything, it should have only displayed the unreleased blog posts.
Bug? User error? Formatting incorrect? Any tips would be great.

In your 'where' filter above, you are using, 'blog.releaseDate', if you want to filter the data based on the blog posts' release date then use 'releaseDate' only. Like this -
where="\{'releaseDate':\{'$lt':'{{globals.site.dateNow}}'\}\}"
