Where is iCloud icon in iTunes?

I am trying to DL the U2 album and it tells me to click on the iCloud iCon in iTunes but I do not see it anywhere in iTunes. The music will play but it is not in my Library.

Hello , my Macbook Air is 2013 , the new model.. first i used to see iCloud icon on system preferences...but today when i entered there to change some settings i haven't found it!
i tried to click customize to see if it's hidden for some reason , but no...!
i look under internet &wireless , but i still can't see it
i tried to search on spolight which searches for everything on my mac , but i haven't found it...
what should i do to get i cloud back ?

Where is Podcast icon in iTunes?

In Panther 10.3.9 my iTunes had the Podcast icon in the left column, but I've upgraded to Tiger 10.4.9 and now there is no Podcast icon in iTunes. I had previously had subscriptions, but now I don't see how to do it. (I do not have an iPod, but just iTunes). How can I download Podcast files now??? Thanks in advance . . .

Yes, it was in the update! I now have iTunes 7 and the podcast check box is there (and already checked)! I was confused because I had it on my G3, so I must have updated it while I still had Panther. Thanks, for the pointer

Dropbox and Drive are very different services to iCloud. There is no menu bar icon for iCloud.
To access your data stored in iCloud, use the apps provided with OS X - Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Notes, Safari etc.
To access iCloud in this way you need to be running OS X 10.7.4 or later as stated in the System Requirements, and have setup iCloud in the System Preferences.

Icloud icon and conetnt (music, tv shows etc) disappeared from itunes

Try opening iTunes and going to Edit>Preferences>Store and making sure "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" is checked.

My iphone/itunes just did the complete new update with Icloud but the icloud icon doesn't show up anywhere on the iphone or my computer even though the install said it is all done and complete.

The Itunes and Iphone just did the complete new update addiing on Icloud and new applications. After all was done and it said all was completed - the Icloud icon is not on my iphone screen anywhere nor is it on my computer after I did go to the control panel and set up. I tried repairing the download and it said all was fine. What needs to be done to get this all to work.

Thanks for the reply. I did think that could be the case but then other books would also show up as apps on phone but not counted as an app. Maybe book apps downloaded from the app store work in this way whereas books bought from the ibooks app show in ibooks and not as apps.
I guess that would make sense, it must be because they are books but downloaded from the app store rather than the book store so they are visible as an app but don't actually get counted as an app.
Would you think that's the case too?

Hello, i purchased the movie Changeling and its shows in Itunes library but will not transfer to my Ipod. It has the Icloud icon showing in the top right hand corner and if i click on play it starts to download from Icloud again and it does this each time

It has the Icloud icon in the top right hand corner of the cover and if i click on play it starts to download from Icloud again and it does this each time i wish to play it, the same now happens to all my purcased movies which of course uses additional ISP download allowance. Before the recent update and lay out of Itunes this didn't happen i just purchased a movie and downloaded it then synced it to my ipod and enjoyed it. But now this latest movie purchase will not download to my ipod. I have sent the problem to Itumes and if there is answer i havent received it. Appreciate any advice

You may need to download a lower resolution version of the movie in order for it to sync to your iPod.

I just updated my ipod touch and when I go into itunes, it shows the icloud icon and I can't see any of my music. I can see that the music is there from my desktop. Is there someway I can shut the icloud "thing" down so that I can just access my music?

ICloud icon animates after putting a movie in iTunes

Whenever I import a movie into iTunes, the iCloud icon animates for a long time. I don't know exactly how long because I've never been patient enough to time it. I'd say perhaps an hour. Anyway, I cannot see the movie listed in iTunes until after the iCloud icon stops its animation. I thought perhaps that it's uploading the movie to iCloud. I checked, and that's not the case. What is happening, and how do I stop it in the future?

You can burn it to a disk as a backup but you can't burn it to play on a DVD player, it just won't work. DRM protection prevents that.

A very strange stripy iCloud icon next to "Music" in iTunes?

I've looked at the other discussion that showed the various icons and none of what was there is what I'm seeing. It's the iCloud icon, however it's animated with grey stripes. It seems to have been like that for a few days. I went in and signed out of the store an re-signed back in and then reupdated all the music that's stored there.

Yup, I've got it too, but only on one machine - the one whose music library is almost exclusively in the cloud. When I quit and relaod iTunes, the problem goes away for a while, but it always comes back.
When the striped animation is running, I can't play any of the cloud files - but I can play the same songs out of my media server, in the living room, which is connected to the same iTunes account (and has all the song files loaded in its library).

Where are icloud movies in the iTunes library?

I am currently running iTunes 11.0.1. Once I updated to iTunes 11.0.1. I was able to see all the movies, from the iTunes library, on my harddrive as well as in icloud, with the iCloud symbol shadowed. Now when I open my iTunes library, the only the movies that I see are the movies on my harddrive. The only way that I see them are in the purchased section of iTunes store. I feel like this is something simple that I am missing, can anyone help?

Hi A Hanwell, thanks for that. That didn't work. When I click on View Options while in the movie , the only thing see is is the sort feature. To help elaborate, the iCloud icon on the top right side of the iTunes doesn't show anymore whether it is in the music, movie etc...
