WHERE is it on my iPod.

The breakdown of what is where on my 40GB clickwheel iPod has me baffled.
Music, fine, got it all squared away.
Books and podcasts, less so.
I moved my first podcasts onto the iPod and it took me forever to figure out how to find them. I finally found them by scrolling down to Albums on the first screen. As I scrolled down that Album window, however, I found two books on CD I had copied to iTunes and thence to the iPod that I forgot they were there because my usual progression on the iPod is Music > Playlists.
I'd like to get rid of these books but I can't find them when I connect the iPod to my Mac.
When I connect the iPod to the Mac and launch iTunes, under the iPod I see only: first the Podcast icon then playlists for all my music but none of the books I'd like to delete.
Can someone tell me where to find them??
And for next time, how do I load DVD books to my iPod so I can easily retrieve then for listening and eventual deletion?

I just got back from a trip on the interstellar shuttle.
They forgot to playback the Einstein recording when we landed & I hadn't adjusted my dates.

A few things you may want to know/try...............
1.The iPod's capacity is 27.80GB(Mac) & 27.69 (PC). The 2.5 Gigs missing are for the iPod's OS.
2.Album art is included in the iD3 tags attached to each track. However, when you add album art, it does make the track a fraction bigger (but you won't see the increase). Unless you are using RAW photos which are HUGE/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png/___sbsstatic_ __/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png
3.As WinDoze doesn't see the iPod nativley, it opens it like a generic USB device. It knows it's an iPod because you have iTunes installed. because of this you may find that there are hidden files on your iPod (usually drivers for other USB devices). These can just be deleted by showing hidden files.
4.If that is not the case, Restore the iPod using the 'iPod Updater' (latest version free on Apple.com/support/ipod). This will wipe the iPod and re-write the iPod's OSwith the updated software.
Once you've done that put the iPod into manual update and transfer the songs (you can put it back to auto-update afterwards).
5.If you sync your photos to the iPod, you can have the full file coppied over, uncheck this as they take up a lot more space than the thumbnails.

Yes it could be. You should perhaps restore it using the updater from the link I gave you.
Install this to your computer, restart the computer, run the Updater, then connect your iPod when prompted (not before), then choose restore.
This will return the iPod to factory settings, erase the hard drive, reload the software and ensure the iPod is Windows formatted.
Then you should be good to go.

Where can I send a ipod touch, for it to get fixed? Anywhere besides apple store that I could absolutely trust. I don't want to send it in the mail either, because I don't want to get scammed. I guess I can go to an Apple store if I had to. But, my warrenty is up. Could they fix it, but would I have to pay more.
Problem(s):
- screen is cracked at bottom right corner going 1/4 of way up.
- Music won't play out of headphones. I tried cleaning it and wiggling it, but nothing. It plays, but it only has either the words of the song, or the music of the song. (NOT the words) I could press down in front of it for a while to make it work, but it doesn't work that way anymore. (Thats how the screen cracked I think.)
So can any of you look it up, and find what price I'd be looking at without buying another ipod touch. If, it's to much I might as well buy another ipod, NOt a touch, and only have it for music.

Ummmm, yeah I don't want to send it anywhere, I want to be able to give it to somebody. And I do not want to drive a long way away just to do this either. I might end up just getting a new ipod, but not a touch. Because those suck with the headphone jack! Thanks for replying though.

If your iPod is relatively new and good condition, you would probably get more than this by selling it.
