Where is iTunes Radio in iOS 8

Where is iTunes Radio in iOS 8 on my iPod touch?  When I open the Music App there is no "Radio" button.  The button at the bottom left is "Music"

Hey John, maybe this will help, Comes strait out the "iPod touch User Guide For iOS 8" pages 128 and 129. The book is free from iTunes. This link goes into greater detail: http:/support.apple.com/kb/HT5848  Hope it helps, Cheers.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes.  At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.

  • Where is iTunes Radio? I have updated to iOS 7.1 and subscribed to iTunes Match! Can't find it! (In Canada)

So I was all excited when I updated to iOS 7.1 and saw we were getting iTunes Radio! Even subscribed to iTunes Match so I could get it ad free. iTunes Radio is not showing up on my iPad Air or iPhone 5s. All of my hardware and software is up to date on the phone iPad and Mac desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :-)

I used to listen to this all the time YEARS ago. Now I can't even get it in Canada? One of the reasons I sort of hate Apple. It's love hate but leaning more towards hate these days. Bash away Apple lovers.

  • Can't find itunes radio on ios 7

    hello,
my wife's phone was just recently updated to ios 7 and everything is working except for the fact that we can not find itunes radio under the "music" app.  both of our phones side by side show that my phone has genius and itunes radio, but my wife does not have either, even when we click more.  any help would be great, thanks!

spyfly, it wasn't there, that is the reason for the question
for those in the same situation, i figured mine out.  go to your itunes setting and log out of your itunes name.  log back in and it should readjust simple as that.
it worked for me but not sure if i just got lucky.  good luck!

  • Disable itunes radio - Data charges out of control

My son discovered the new iTunes radio on iOS 7.  Great new music.  Unfortunately when he is at school or out and about he is on cellular data.  And in just a few weeks he is well over 2GB of data.  I tried disabling this in Settings - Restrictions but can not find a way to turn it off.
I don't want to take away his phone, but I will have to, if I can't control the cost that the carrier is extorting for data usage.
    Sad Dad

Sorry mistercoffee1, I didn't mean to come across as unappreciative.  You are likely right as well that "A disciplined child who is respectful of his parent's wishes won't have to."  But if kids were disciplined and respectful 100% of the time, then we wouldn't need the restrictions in the first place.  We could just tell the 15 year boy to avoid temptation and then be disappointed when he fails, and pay the carrier for his mistakes and take away his communications device.  Or we could remove the temptation (phone altogether or enable restrictions), avoid the inevitable costs and disappointment until such time they mature to the point of full accountability and responsibility.  I do like knowing where he is and having the ability for either of us to contact one another.  Which means I really would like to have data enabled on the phone (FindMyFriends as a condition of having the phone, and locating a lost phones) but not pay rediculous rates for data to a carrier.  4 of my 5 iPhones are unlimited grandfathered devices, his is not and no options to do so.

  • Any problems with iTunes Radio?

The past two days I've been unable to access iTunes' RADIO function.  I get this msg:  "An error occured while contacting the radio tuning service.  Check your Internet connection or try again."
Obviously, I *am* connected to the Internet.  What's wrong?
I'm still on OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) on a 2009 iMac.  I'm good at keeping a "tidy" hard drive; i.e. - organizing in folders, cleaning out junk or old files, emptying trash several times a day, etc.
Thanks for any help -- Cathy

    According to the iTunes page:
*iTunes Radio requires iOS 7 or later; OS X v10.7 or later; Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later; 32-bit edition of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8; or Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation).
That said however, I am running Mac OS 10.7.5 and I get the same message as you! I suspect that Apple has done some of their usual "tweaking" and that iTunes Radio now requires that you have iTunes 11 minimum (or possibly Mac OS 10.8).
Yours is probably the fourth topic I've seen on this and none of them have any replys (that I saw) from the iTunes "heavy hitters" listed in the column on the right of the Discussions page.

  • Can I disable iTunes Radio?

Is there any way to completely restrict access to iTunes Radio on iOS 7? I turned off Account changes in Restrictions but iTunes Radio still allows my child to sign in with an Apple ID. In fact, it even allows him to create a new Apple ID. With iOS 6, there was no way to sign into an Apple ID account if Account changes were restricted.
Is there any way to contact Apple and request this to be fixed in an upcoming update?

TO disable the itunes radio on my kids devices i had to go
    1. Sign out of the Itunes&App store in Settings
    2. Select Dont Allow Changes for Accounts (Settings, General, Restriction, Accounts)
It seems to have solved the problem for now.  Good luck

    Hello Roland Co1,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

  • Where in the world is the iTunes Radio icon on iOS 7. Just upgraded my iPad 4 & iPhone 5 and I can't seem to find this on either.

Where in the world is the iTunes Radio icon on iOS 7. Just upgraded my iPad 4 & iPhone 5 and I can't seem to find this on either.

I'd say that darn stupid. The whole world can access iTunes Radio via Apple TV and the laptop, but apple had to restrict this to the US for IOS 7 for iPad & iPhone.

  • I purchased a song from iTunes radio through Apple TV.  The song does not show up on my iOS devices or my MacBook Pro?

I tried out the new iTunes Radio last night through my Apple TV.  Even purchased a song.  Can't find the song through any of my iOS devices or my MacBook Pro music library.  What am I missing?  It said that the song would be on my devices.  Help?

    Hi Dreanmachine1,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
When you purchase a song on your Apple TV, it is available on all of your devices. There are a few reasons why you may not see the song on your iOS devices or your MacBook Pro. They may not be set up to download purchases automatically, or you may not have been signed into the iTunes Store.
I'd suggest trying to download the purchases on your other devices using the steps in this article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
You may also want to check your automatic download settings, so you can receive future songs automatically. See this article for help:

  • Asking for iCloud account name and password to play iTunes radio when I have done it in the past many times without this question.  Will not accept my apple id and password.  Will not save my changed password.  Where do I start?

I have a MAC with OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.2, 8GB, 2.7 GHz, intel core i5.  Until 2 days ago, I could click on iTunes radio, pick my station and listen.  Then 2 days ago, I do this and system asks for my iCloud account id and password.  Does not recognize apple id or password.  I change the password, does not save it.   Screen that lists 2 step verification asks for added security questions, I do those and still will not allow me access.  What do I do and where do I start?  I thought I should download the update to OS X.  I did that, still no change.  Please help direct me to where I need to go to fix this problem.

Restoring an iPad from an iTunes-generated backup should not require an Apple ID password.
Did you encrypt the iPad backup? If so, then trying to restore will require entering the encryption password.

  • Where is iTunes Match content stored on apple TV? I recently joined itunes match and it is working on my ios devices, but I can't find my music on Apple TV

Where is iTunes Match content stored on apple TV? I recently joined itunes match and it is working on my ios devices, but I can't find my uploaded music on Apple TV

It isn't actually stored anywhere, it needs to be downloaded from the internet before any content can be played.
iTunes Match content is accessed through the 'Music' icon on the main screen though, it needs turning on though in settings first.
