Where is itunes windows xp 64bit edition ?

please ..i want itunes .my windows xp 64bit edition ....

The only one of those apps I have tried personnally is HL2.  It works great.  The other apps are not listed in the Release Notes that detail some apps that have problems (you can get this document from the Preview Page).  I do see Photoshop Album 2 on the list.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Windows XP 64bit Edition + Beta Drivers?

I’m possibly hours away from my new 64bit system build and I’m currently pulling down every beta version of software I can.
Is anybody using the free trial Windows XP 64bit edition with success? I’m contemplating installing it just to see what its like, is it worth it? or should I stick to service pack 2?

  • Satellite L600-01B - Where to get Windows 7 64bit drivers?

    Hello Toshiba
I bought a Satellite L600-01B while on a trip to China. It came with a horrible Chinese only edition of Windows7. So I installed a clean new copy of Windows 7 64bit ultimate. However I am having trouble in finding the device drivers for it. The nearest model on the Toshiba UK site appears to be the L630. I have installed all drivers I could find there, but still, in the Device Manager one device shows without a driver "PCI Simple Communications Controller".
What is this? Where can i get the driver from?
    Thanks

I installed the 'intel management engine interface' from here and that seemed to do the trick.

  • ITunes + Windows 7 64bit + iPop Nano

I recently updated from Windows Vista 32bit to Windows 7 64bit. Now I have
troubles with the latest iTunes 64bit version (9.0.2.25). When I connect my
iPod to the computer iTunes detects the iPod but I get an error saying
"An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly.".
I think that this problem arises when using iTunes with Windows 7 64bit, since
I never had any problems when I used WinXP or Windows Vista 32 bit.
To test whether there is a problem with my iPod I used the Windows XP SP3 32bit
virtual machine provided by Windows 7 and installed the latest 32 bit iTunes
version in there. Inside the VM I'm able to access and sync my iPod without
    any problems using iTunes.
I also started a diagnosis from within iTunes, but despite the fact that iTunes
is not able to identify my iPod, everything seems to be ok (drivers,
    services, USB ports, ...).
Since I already read many topics on this problem within different discussions
across the internet and found no working solution, I thought it might be
best to ask directly in an Apple discussion.

Accck ... the last time I saw that, the person with it had to do a full-scale Windows 7 reinstall:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2307211&tstart=0
I'd rather not have to do that if we have the choice.
Do you have any webcams, scanners or media readers installed on that PC? If so, even though you've got a nano, I'd try the measures outlined in the following document:
[What to do when Windows displays a blue screen error message or restarts when syncing the iPhone or iPod touch|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1502]
First of all - thanks for the really quick reply.
Although a complete reinstall of Windows seemed to resolve the issue in
the thread you mentioned above, this is definitely not the way I'd like to go
(as you probably might understand If I can't resolve the problem I'll simply
use the Windows XP VM (although this is a rather dirty work around - especially
when considering that I recently ordered an iPhone 3GS which might
    run into the same problem).
Besides that, maybe I wrote my posting somewhat misleading: I did not upgrade
the Vista system to Windows 7, but I did a clean install of Win7 - without
installing any of the formerly pre-installed programs.
But I guess the second link you posted might help me. I'll try to update
all USB related drivers and then let's see what happens. I'll also try to
disable as many USB devices as possible
    Btw: I've a webcam (built-in), a USB-mouse,
    a fingerprint scanner (built-in) and an SD-card
reader (also built-in) - so maybe looking for the latest drivers for these
    devices may solve the problem.
    I'll keep you informed.

No problems about the further questions.
The term EHCI roughly means "USB 2.0 host controller". So pretty much any modern nVidia chipset will have one of those. So the issue ends up boiling down to whether or not you've got an nVidia chipset, I think.
I went searching through the HP Support forums, and I found a user-supplied FAQ that suggests that you do have an nVidia chipset. See Daniel's second post in this thread (the one on chipset drivers):
    [Windows7 Upgrade Guide for dv6000/dv9000 models|http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Operating-systems-and-software/Windows7-Upg rade-Guide-for-dv6000-dv9000-models/td-p/179816]
... but "suggests" isn't quite the same thing as "confirms".
I'm thinking it might be worth posting over at the HP Support forums and asking if you have one of the HP models that requires the update for Windows 7 described in the following post. (The update in question is actually the same as the Microsoft hotfix I linked you to earlier.)
[Driver update for Win7 USB issue on nVidia chipset systems now available|http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Lockups-Freezes-Hangs/Driver-update-for- Win7-USB-issue-on-nVidia-chipset-systems-now/m-p/188193]
(Not trying to get rid of you here ... I just want to get you on the radar screens of people with a bit more specific knowledge about the chipset on your particular HP model. I figure the HP forums would be a useful place to go for that.)

  • Windows XPP 64bit Edition

I suppose the 64bit edition is perfect for use on the c2d via boot camp?
    cheers

    Hi,
    I disagree with that statement
The main problem with using XP64 with BootCamp is, that Apple doesn't provide any kind of drivers for it.
If you want to use XP64, you have to search the internet for yourself to get at least the basic drivers for chipset; NIC; graphics; etc.
Even then you won't find any Drivers for Mac specific hardware like iSight, keyboard etc.
Right now Apple only provides drivers for XP32 and Vista32 with the exception of the new Mac Pros which also come with drivers for Vista64.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Satellite A200-10W - Where to find Windows 7 64bit drivers?

I have a Satellite A200-10W notebook. In present I have vista x86 installed but I want to upgrade to windows 7 64 bit but I don't know where I find the drivers because on the website I can't find these.
Can anyone help me? How can I use sound card, network card, webcam and others if i haven't these drivers?

    Hi!
I have checked the Toshiba page and the Satellite A200-10W belongs to the PSAECE series and therefore I could find only Vista 64bit drivers:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers
Normally these drivers are also work on Windows 7 so you should try it. Maybe all of them will work and so you have Windows 7 with all drivers. :)

Okay. See if you can get the videos to play better in iTunes if you launch iTunes in safe mode.

  • Itunes Windows 7 64bit Pauses and Studders while playing movies.

NOTE : I have been having this problem since the last update,  No previous issues before this.
While playing purchased Itunes TV episodes or Movies using itunes, the movie will freeze then "Catch up" in fast foward several times during the playing of the show.  Tried a lot of troubleshooting ideas I have read here with no avail.  Put Itunes into safe mode, re installed intunes and quicktime from scratch .. nothing seems to work..
    HELP !!

it actually causes the drive to go into a closed read cycle, and then the drive disappears from my computer and I have to reboot.
Odd. That sounds a bit like a device filter issue. But your filters look fine in your diagnostics.
iTunes 9.1.1.11 was just released today ... I don't see any changes in the package for that that have obvious relevance to a CD burning issue, but it might be worth trying an update, just in case. (There's a library file update with this one, so it may take a while for your iTunes to launch the first time you launch it after the update.)

  • New Windows XP 64bit, but no drivers for K8N Neo Platinum

    Hello,
I have a MSI K8N Neo Platinum with an AMD 2800+. Just received the new Windows XP 64bit edition after attending a trade show in Houston. Used Partition Magic to make a separate partition on my SATA 400GB HD, knowing there was possibly going to be a problem. This is the final release, retail packaged, not the Beta.
The only drivers found was for my MSI Nvidia 5600 AGp video card. No other audio, Nvidia chipset or board drivers are plug & play. Onboard LAN isn't even found.
Any drivers out yet? I figure i'll have to wait. Can't get updates either bacause it won't detect onboard LAN or a Linksys or 3Com PCI card I tried also.
    Woodrow

There most certainly are nVidia drivers.  The only thing that there aren't drivers for currently is the onboard sound.  This, combined with lack of driver support for my peripherals (webcam and printer) are why I haven't made the switch.

  • Cinema Display on Windows XP 64bits

    Hello,
Im trying definitely to use the controls to turn of and on the cinema display under Windows XP x64, the excelent drivers WinACD for windows 32bits doesnt work on windows xp 64bits edition.
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/winacd
I read some people did the work to make it happend, but they never make it public for the rest of us to use this modified dirvers.
I heard about one way to do it, we need te .INF file of the WinACD drivers unzipping the .MSI instalator of the drivers, them some one says, that we have to modify the way he says
If you unzip the WinACD msi file, one of the files is actually the display INF file. Edit that and change:
    [Manufacturer]
    %APPLE%=APPLE_MON
    [APPLE_MON]
    to:
    [Manufacturer]
    %APPLE%=APPLE_MON,NTamd64
    [APPLE_MON.NTamd64]
Save it, and tell WinXP 64 to use that file for the driver of your “pluag-and-play” monitor.
But i dont get the .INF file, can some one, help me, can some one give me a solution, any thing, if you can extract the .INF file and upload it to me for me to modify it, i be glad, or some one can share a complete solution for this, because we are a lot of people that needs Windows Xp 64 Bits to render and make CAD that is no compatible with windows Vista and have Cinema Display.
Im gettin mad, please help me if you can, them i will share the solution uploading it to SourceForge.net
    Thanks

I actually just reinstalled the drivers, but this time from a new export onto usb.  The display works fine now.  I think it just didn't put all of the drivers on the first time I installed the apple stuff.
Try taking all of your drivers off and then reinstalling.
Not sure if this really helps.

  • Will Apple release ITunes for Windows XP 64bit?

Will Apple release ITunes for Windows XP 64bit?

WARNING: This procedure involves moving, deleting, modifying, and copying system files and possibly sytem registry entries. If you make a mistake you can kill your system [I killed two of mine until I
figured out the problem with the outdated GEAR drivers]therefore:
1)Back up your entire system or better yet, get a cheapie new HD like Western digital 2 TB for $69-129 depending whether on sale or not and reinstall your system from scratch on the new drive. If
computer kraps out you just put the old drive back in.
    2) Some of the procedures here may not be exactly what YOU see on YOUR specific model of computer. I've tried it on a COMPAQ sr1610nx with xp64, I've tried it on a Dell Alien with xp64, and on a
Gateway GM5442, and will now try from scratch to format harddrive, load xp64, device drivers, OS service packs and patches, AVG free, flash, java, and itunes.
    3) I wrote these instructions down from memory. Read and understand entire procedure before you start. There is some troubleshooting you may need to do to make it work on your particular system. This
procedure works on 3 different models of 64 bit cpus. One CPU is an INTEL(Gateway), one CPU is an AMD X2 64-bit 4800+ Toledo(Compaq sr1610ns), and the other is an AMD x2 64-bit 3500+(DELL Alien). This
shows the capability exists on both Intel and AMD x64 architectures.
    4) The current version 10.6.3 will work with modifications(including syncing ipod with ios5 and syncing cd and dvdrom ).
PROCEDURE: 1)Using you IE 64-bit browser download iTunes64Setup.exe from URL http://www.apple.com/iTunes/download/ to a new directory (For Example: ITUNES-1063-XPX64-TEST).
    2) Using you IE 64-Bit browser download GEAR Drivers at URL http://www.gearsoftware.com/downloads.php?dir=updates/windows/drivers/&file=Driv er_Installer_x86_x64.exe.
3)Using your IE 64 browser download ORCA Editor at URL http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=Orca&tag=404&searchtype=download s .
    4) Using your IE 64 browser download 7-Zip at URL http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=7-Zip&platformSelect=&tag=srch&s

5)Use 7-Zip to extract Itunes64Setup.exe into sub components.
6)Use Orca to open and edit iTunes64.msi.
    7)Change Launch Condition from VersionNT64>=600 to VersionNT64>=501. Change ((VersionNT=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>501) to ((VersionNT=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>=501)

    10) Change Launch Condition from (VersionNT=501 And ServicePackLevel>=2) Or VersionNT>=600 to (VersionNT=501 And ServicePackLevel>=2) Or VersionNT>=501
    11) Save and exit AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi.
    12) Use Orca to open and edit AppleApplicationSupport64.msi.
    13) Change Launch Condition from (VersionNT>=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>501 to (VersionNT>=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>=501
    14) Save and exit AppleApplicationSupport64.msi.
    15) Use Orca to open and edit Bonjour64.msi.
    16) Change Launch Condition from (VersionNT>=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>501 to (VersionNT>=501 AND ServicePackLevel>=2) OR VersionNT>=501
    18) Install itunes64.
    19) Shutdown and Reboot.
    20) Search your PC for GEAR*.*
    21) Delete all the files found that are deleteable. This will get rid of the bogus Gear drivers (Version 2.2.0.1 from 2008 and 2009) that iTunes installs.
    22) Run Gear drivers installer you downloaded earlier. This will load the correct Gear drivers (Version 2.2.2.0 [or 2.02.02.00- depending where you look in windows for the version number] from 2011 and
2012 drivers versus defective 2008 and 2009 drivers). The Gear driver connects the cdrom to itunes for sync. The usbappl driver connects the iPod to itunes for sync (Via the USB).
    23) Ensure the file GEARAspiWDM.sys, usbaapl64.sys, also ksthunk.sys is in C:\Windows\system32\Drivers. If not search and locate these files. Then copy them to the correct directories Remember to set
your More advanced options to Search system folders, Search hidden files and folders, and search subfolders.
    24) Now you must verify registry entry for UpperFilters exists and has GEARAspiWDM for value.
    25) Go to Start, then Run, then enter regedit, then OK. Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SYSTEM, then CurrentControlSet, then Control, then Class, then {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}, then
UpperFilters, right mouse click and select modify, then verify the Value data has the entry GEARAspiWDM. If not go back to {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and right mouse click select new, then
Multi-String Value, then name it UpperFilters, right mouse click and select modify and enter GEARAspiWDM for Value data, select OK and close registry.
    26) Shutdown and reboot.
    27) Now you need to update the cdrom/dvd driver and the USB driver.
    28) Go to Start, then Control Panel, then System, then Hardware, then Device Manager, select DVD/CD-ROM drives, select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install, then select Next, ensure Show
compatible hardware is checked. Select CD-ROM as the driver, then Next, then Finish.
    29) Shutdown and reboot.
    30) Start computer, plug in iPod to USB, wait for windows to detect the device, probably detected as a camera. Go to Control Panel, then System, then Hardware, then Device Manager, and find the iPod.
    31) Right mouse click and select Properties, then Driver.
    32) Select Update Driver, then select Install from a specific location (Advanced), then Next, then select Don't search, I will choose the driver to install, then select Next, ensure Show compatible
hardware box is checked, select USB driver for iPod, then Next, then Finish.
    33) Shutdown and Reboot.
    34) Start iTunes. Ignore the message iTunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTUnes (This message comes from the device driver install failure for the
cdroms because the current Itunes installer still contains the bogus outdated Gear drivers). Select OK.
    35) Now Itunes should work.
