Where is location services on the iPhone 4S?
I can't find location services on my iPhone 4S. Does anybody know where it is? I just read about turning off locaion services for photos. It can give access to the location of the person in the photos if you post them online.

How do I turn off location services on the iPhone 6?
How do I turn off location services on the iPhone 6?
Yes I already went to Settings > Privacy > Location Services, is not allowing me to turn it off.
And yes I have disable the restrictions too. When I tapped the screen, there was a symbol on the left that looked like arrows going in a circle and on the right were the arrows crossed. The crossed arrows were orange, when I tapped this orange symbol, it turned to white and the songs STOPPED shuffle.

Where is Location Services in the Settings Menu?
Where is Location Services in the Settings Menu? I ask because I was told to switch off some of the location services in the various apps to help me save battery life, but not too sure where Location Services is?
AlliisonR: Location settings have been moved to the new Privacy section underneath Brightness & Wallpaper in Settings icon. Tricky but it's still there.
Hope this helps!

If I have both my iPhone and my iPad set up on the "Find iPhone" app, and I disable location services on my iPhone, will I still be able to track my iPad from my iPhone by using this app?
iWork is universal, so it will work full-res on the iPad. This is true for any app which has the plus sign symbol (in the App Store in iTunes it will say "This app is designed for iPhone and iPad".

Anyone else having issues with location services since the 7.1 update? Ever since I updated i’ve been seeing the location services icon on my status bar at all times. I noticed that google was the app that was using it a lot, but after I turned the feature off for google my phone started using the “traffic”, “frequent locations” and “cell network search”. When I turn the feature off for all of those things it’s no longer a problem. So just wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone has a solution?
The "solution" is probably to increase your knowledge. You've done good things. Perhaps this article will educate you a bit more about location services.
Basically, they can be very useful, but can cause a lot of iPhone use. A major example is "Remind me to ... when I leave home."

I cannot find the location services in the general settings
After the forced change over to IOS 6 it asked during the setup which apps would be used for location services. I checked only the Maps as I do not like all the different programs watching me. I went to use several that I pick and choose the locator service that is enabled and there is no "location services" under the general settings.
You will find it under new application calls praivecy through setting

Add location services in the control center
To save power I go into Settings and turn on/off the all the Location Services. Is there any plans to add location services in the control center for quicker access? Or is there something already in place?
There is nothing in place. How is turning off location services saving you power? It doesn't use any unless you are using it. However, if you feel strong about it, you can make a suggestion to Apple feedback HERE and click on the appropriate link.

I am unable to turn on location services after the iOS7 update on my iPhone 5
Relatively self explanatory. When I go into Privacy settings I am unable to turn Location Servies on. The option appears, but I cannot slide the switch to 'on'. This has only happened after the ios7 update.
Hi dombew,
Welcome to the Support Communities!
To address this issue, I would suggest restarting and/or resetting the iPhone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If that does not resolve the issue, refer to page 146 in the iPhone User Guide to Reset All Settings:
iPhone User Guide for iOS 7
manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
Also, check to make sure Location Services has not be restricted:
iOS: Understanding Restrictions (parental controls)
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4213?viewlocale=en_US
You can prevent changes to privacy settings, including:
Location Services

HT5467 Does location service affect the speed of my iphone 4?
When Location Service is on does it affects phones speed?
Hi Isko94,
This shouldn't affect the speed of your iPhone. It's really just a great feature to take advantage of like maps and such you can find in that article.
If your phone speed does not seem up to par, some things to check is your usage, multitasking. Sometimes back up and restore can help as well.
Hope this helps

Is it possible to turn on location services on your iphone from a computer?
My iphone has been stolen and the location service is not on. I wonder if it's possible to turn it on somehow (maybe through icloud or something) so i can use find my iphone or track it somehow without using find my iphone. I have a lot of battery left still at least. How do I get it back? Any help please? I miss my baby
No, it's not possible to turn location services on remotely. Sorry.

Does Siri location services waste the battery?
I can see that if I turn on location services for Siri (default was off), the purple "on" GPS icon is in the top bar of the phone all the time.
Previously, with other apps such as Geocaching or Navigon, I was told having the GPS active all the time would severely reduce battery charge.
Is this the case with Siri as well, on the 4S? Or is this GPS chip designed to play nicer with the battery?Apple's faq on Siri suggests that WW locations will roll out during 2012 .
I suspect it will have to exit Beta before anything else happens
