Where is my account balance?

I'm logged in and I know I have some money in the account; I just downloaded two songs. But my account balance doesn't show up next to my email. Screenshot:

It will be shown in the upper-right of the iTunes Store window in iTunes, next to your account name, whenever iTunes is logged into your account.

  • Where is the account balance window located?

I recently upgraded to iTunes 8.1, and when I access the iTunes store, I can no longer locate the little window that displays the remaining gift card balance.
I've tried to figure it out via the "Help" pull-down menu and have searched the discussions forums to no avail.
Is it possible to manually find the remaining balance, or could someone tell me how to otherwise access this info?
    Thanks in advance.
    Gary

That's not where you see a remaining balance. You'll see it in iTunes next to your account ID when you're logged into your iTunes Store account and are viewing the iTunes Store. On an iOS device you'll see the balance at the very bottom of the window in the iTunes Store or App Store apps, e.g.
Not all of the tabs in those apps show the balance. If you don't see a balance, then the iTunes Store doesn't think you have one for that account.
    Regards.

  • HT5035 Where has the account balance gone?

No it is not next to my user name at the bottom of the featured page of iTunes, App Store or iBooks, yes I am signed in. Frustrating.

    Hi Hunter,
I'm not sure where else you can go to check it. Hate to do this, but you are probably going to want to contact iTunes Support:

I know what you mean, though. About a month ago, I could have sworn I had a balance left in my iTunes account. But - nothing there. I purchased another gift card for myself just to make sure the amount was showing - it did.
Then I went to my Purchase History and my emails, and discovered that I actually had depleted the previous amount.....kind of makes you crazy, though!

  • Where is my account balance displayed?

Apple tells me I have credit in my account, and I can get to my Account Information, but I don't see any way to find out how many dollars credit I have.

It will be shown in the upper-right of the iTunes Store window in iTunes, next to your account name, whenever iTunes is logged into your account.

    Thank you.

Log into the iTunes Store using the account in which you redeemed the card. The balance will be shown at the top of the iTunes Store screen if you're using iTunes on your computer:

  • Where is the option for using my account balance when I make purchases?

I have a balance of $15.29 on my itunes account, and when i make purchases the option to spend this account balance is not available.  The only options are to use a credit card. When I choose "none" for payment type, I am blocked from making the purchase. No other options. I am being cheated out of my own money!

  • HT201209 Where Do I Locate My Account Balance itunes

Where Do I Locate My Account Balance itunes

I contacted Apple Support and was told if there is no balance, nothing will be displayed. No "$0.00" like before.
Only if you have a balance will there be any display of it within iTunes. Since I don't have a balance, I don't know if they moved the display location wiith iTunes or not.
Of course it only applies to the account you are signed into.  My advice to anyone joining iTunes to have one and only one account.  It is such a pain to have two and reconclie them. IMHO.

  • Where do I view my iTunes account balance?

Where do I view my iTunes account balance?

Nope... Nothing there!  Why is it so hidden?  I have been informed by iTunes that my balance is zero - unfortunately I cant confirm that for myself because I cant find my 'balance'.  Interestingly, I have redeemed several gift cards over the months and purchased some songs and there was a credit after those transactions, but coming back later there were no funds...
As people would know, it is very difficult to completely use a $20, $30, etc. gift card when songs cost $2.49 or some other odd amount.  I smell a rat... Why cant Apple just reinstate the old system when you logged into your iTunes account the credit was shown next to your login?!  Even if it was zero it still showed.  Another interesting issue is that you can view your purchases, but NOT your gift card redemptions...
I am still waiting for iTunes to come back to me after their initial 'helpful' response with an explanation on this matter and where my credits have gone to.  I have requested an account statement of all my iTunes transactions for the last 12 months which also show my gift card redemptions.  Let's see if they deliver?!
I will post when I get a response.

  • I can no longer see the account balance on my iTunes gift card.  Why?

Where can I find the account balance from my iTunes gift card, on my macbook pro, in the iTunes store?

Thank you responding.  (you're the only response I received).  I did, and was doing, as you suggested.  Before the latest iTunes update, I was able to see my account balance (a whopping $9.98), but can no longer see the amount.  I've tried logging out and back into iTunes to no avail.  Same goes on my iPhone and iPod, and iPad.  The system keeps asking for credit card info, but I'm hesitant to do that.  (That's why we purchase iTunes gift cards, isn't it ?) !
Anyway, Thank you for your assistance.  Next stop is the local Apple Store and see what the Genus bar can do. !!

  • Query help on totalling 2 account balances

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following query:
    SELECT SUM(T0.[SYSDeb] - T0.[SYSCred]) AS 'Production'
    FROM JDT1 T0  INNER JOIN OJDT T1 ON T0.TransId = T1.TransId WHERE T0.[Account] = '_SYS00000000238' AND T0.[Account] = '_SYS00000000239'
If I add the second WHERE statement the query gives me no results. I want to see the total of the 2 account balances in this query.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Marli

    Hi Marli,
    Try this:
    SELECT SUM(T0.SYSDeb  - T0.SYSCred) AS 'Production'
    FROM JDT1 T0
    WHERE T0.Account in ('_SYS00000000238','_SYS00000000239')
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Currency Valuation G/L Account Balance Sheet Posting F.05

    Hi all,
Is there a way to post the Currency Valuation F.05 for G/L account balance sheet posting to another account than itself.
I cannot find any configuration on that, and a trace look to show that it goes back to SKA1,
    SKAT & SKB1.
Open item have configuration in OBA1 and we can fix the posting where we want.
But the currency valuation for the account balance always happen to the same account.
    Thank you,
    Carole

Bal.sheet adj.1 in OBA1 is for that only. The GL account is for Identifying that this is FC account in case of Valuation Loss/ Gain.
Incase of realized loss or gain, it is the same GL account that has to hit in the local currency.
