Where is my captured image/ file saved?

Captured images appear in the Sprout Gallery.
These are saved to the Captured Images folder in the Pictures library: This PC/Pictures/Captured Images.

Labview IMAQ VI for capturing images and saving with incremental file names

Hello,
I am using LabView 7.1(IMAQ) to capture images with NI's PCI 1426 card, and a JAI CV-M2 camera. Now, with the example VI's like LL Grab, or LL Sequence, or Snap and Save to File.vi, I can capture the images. But what I actually want is to capture images continuously and keep saving them with a sequentially incrementing file name.
I have tried to modify the Snap and Save to File.vi by adding a 'for loop', so as to run this for required number of images. This works okay, but I can't really change the file name after every image. However, I'm not confident with this method either. I think it would be better to use the buffer itself, as is given in LL Grab.vi and somehow save images from the buffer. I think this would be faster ?
In any case, any ideas as to how I should go about implementing auto-incrementing of the file name ?
Any help will do.

Thanks a lot for replying.
I tried using this in the VI i was working with, but using the "build path" vi doesnt seem to work. If I use just the base path from user's input, it works, but then again it keeps overwriting the images into one file rather than giving each file a new name. I'm attaching the vi.
Please take a look and tell me where i'm going wrong.

Where is the user image file located?

So, I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find a sollution that works in Mountain Lion.
I'd like to be able to locate the image file which I'm using for my user account icon. It also appears in iMessage and Contacts, but I can't drag it to the the desktop. Because I don't know the file name, I can't search for it.
Does anyone know where it is stored? Or how I can extract it?

Previously in iChat the "Recent Pics" were stored and shown in the Drop down in the Buddy list.
The place was ~/Library/Images
In Mountain Lion it appears that the Drop Down shows "Recent Pics" but is pulling them from several sources.
The Messages Drop down
The Recent Picture Folder has these:-
Some Match and some don't.
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.AddressBook holds the Zebra and copies of my Sig and thre Union Flag.
At present I cannot find the ones the System Preferences > User and Groups > your account has as Pic are stored.
Some of the pics are the Apple Default ones. (Hardrive Name/Library/User Pictures)
You can also take a Snap Shot on Macs with cameras and I guess it is this that you are after ?

Where Are The Captured Video Files Typically Saved?

I guess my title pretty much descibes my question, I feel like a bit of an idiot, but for the life of me I can't find them on my drive!
This iMovie is like a virus! Also, what does one do to delete all related files once the movie has been written to DVD and I don't need them anymore?

They are saved where YOU told iMovie to save them when you created your projects. iMovie suggests your "Movies" folder, but you may (of course) navigate around the hard drive(s) and save them anywhere.
I would at LEAST export the project back to tape before deleting it. To delete, use Finder to drag the "package" (which looks like a file) to the trash and empty the trash.

Where is my save images file???

hi everyone i can't find the images saved file my ipad haven't.
Can i create some file because i can not save images from the web!!!

Have you tried closing the Photos app completely ? From the home screen (you can't close an app completely if it is open on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Photos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar. Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Then try it again - you can either try saving a picture from a webpage by pressing and holding it and then selecting 'Save Image', or you could just do a screenshot by briefly pressing both the home and sleep buttons.

Email image/file saving issue

My iPad has just been up dated to iOS 8.1.1
I cant find anyone else online who seems to be having the same issue so lets see.
I have attachments/files/images in emails that I want to save to the ipad. The old style that still just show the file work fine but the previewed images I am having issues with.
I am having trouble with a PDF image of a seating chart, the new iOS is showing a preview of the image at the bottom of the email (as a pose to where you use to click the file and then it would preview and you could save from there).
Now when I press it the little box should pop up with the options i.e. save, print, open with documents etc but the box is not there. Now I can tell the box is active because I am unable to press anything within the email app such as inbox delete nothing works so I know that the box should be showing. Sometimes the mail app will crash, if I close it and reopen it normally sometimes the little box flashes up then disappears within a second.
Please tell me someone has found a solution to this problem as this is really going to screw up my work!
Also please don't tell me to visit my 'local' apple store as its hours away and you have to book an appointment like a week in advance, so that's not going to happen.
Any helpful info would be great appreciated

I am aware of how to open it in documents or save it. The problem is the Open with box is not showing up since the 8.1.1 update, it's obviously there because I can't press anything on the screen and sometimes if I press the home button and go back onto mail it shows for a millisecond and disappears

Hi,
after looking at the show flash I see that images that came from the factory are stored in drwx. The images I have installed are always preceded by -rwx.
From what I understand the drwx is a directory. Is there any benefit from storing them this way and should I make it best practice to do so? Thanks, Pat.

Hi Pat,
I know with catalyst switches the .bin image is bundled with html files as a .tar file, this enables the use of http server to directly connect to device and make configuration changes.
This is most likely what you are seeing, otherwise it is pretty standard to have the .bin image stored in the top level of flash.

Where is the captured avi file ?

After capturing footage in iMovie , how do I access the raw AVI file ? It seems to be embedded in iMovie in the clips pane , but I want to access it so I can do a backup burn to DVD of the footage as a raw file .
Do i have to save it as an avi file ?

You can drag clips from iMovie to your desktop and they'll be copied there.
Alternatively, you can select your iMovie project and control-click or right-click and choose Show Package Contents. Your clips will be in the Media folder.
Just be careful poking around in there. It's an easy way to wreck your project if you move or delete something you shouldn't.
Also, copying your entire iMovie project file is another effective means of creating a back up of your media.

It isn't a file. It is a collection of files, indexed with a sqlite3 database, which is all stored in your user Library/Application Support/AddressBook folder.
To get to your User Library, in the Finder, hold down the option (alt) key and select Library from the Go menu.

Where is the iPhone backup file saved at?

I wanted to archive it. I tried looking everywhere. I am using Windows Vista by the way (not sure if the location changes on PC and Mac).

Where are the HTML/Source files saved on Macintosh when I click "Preview"?

On the Mac, I typically expect files to save to my WebServer directory as:

However, I cannot find the temporary html, css, scripts when I preview my site/page with the default or my localhost ip address:

When working in Muse the HTML/CSS/JavaScript of the site doesn't exist.
Unlike Edge Reflow (and the other Edge tools) Muse is not an HTML/CSS editor. Working in Muse is like working in InDesign or Word or any number of other applications. Muse has it's own representation of things and that makes it easier for us to provide a user experience that avoids many of the idiosyncrasies and limitations of HTML/CSS. It also lets up improve and evolve the HTML/CSS that's output to keep pace with the evolving web.
With Muse HTML/CSS is only generated when a page is exported (for preview, publish, upload, etc.) and the HTML/CSS that's generated is never read back in. It's like a PDF created from InDesign. HTML/CSS is the output. It's not the original file(s).
For the question of Web Fonts beyond those available via the Font menu, the specifcs depend on the web font hosting service you're using. However the general approach is the same. In most cases it involves applying paragraph or character styles to the text in Muse (which end up being classes in the HTML/CSS), using a web-safe font in Muse (so the code gen is live text) and then setting up the web fonts to be used by those classes.
The snippet of code that generally needs to go in the head of each page to load the webfonts can be inserted in the Page Properties dialog for the master page (or each individual page) in Muse.
With this approach the font will be incorrect in Muse Design view. (It will be whatever web-safe font was selected.) But it should display as the correct font when Previewed and Published/Uploaded.

Name of Drive storing image files has changed

I'm sure there must be a simple answer to this - but it has me stumped.
My OS is Windows XP Pro.
All of the images files that I have imported into Lightroom are located on an external hard drive that was labeled the "G" drive when I first installed it.
Now I have plugged in a Lexar Media thumb drive and that has usurped the "G" dive label and reassigned an "H" label to my external hard drive where all the image files were imported from.
So... now all my folders, key words, catalogs, etc, etc. are no longer showing up when I open Lightroom.
How do I reconnect with all the work I have done. I have tried to figure out how to undo the drive name change, but to no avail so far.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Use disk manager. If you right click on My computer and select manage it will take you there. First step, with the Lexar drive connected, right click on it in disk manager and change it's letter to something else. Then remove it connect, the external drive and change it to the letter you want. Populate image file using HTP.IMG().

I'm using iAS 9i, Oracle HTTP Server(Apache) and web pl/sql. I can not populate an image file on my web page.
I am not sure where to store the image files (GIF or PNG)? I am trying to populate an image file on my page using HTP.IMG()command.
For example: HTP.IMG(curl=> '???');

JTextPane -captured image refreshing problem

Dear All,
In my application it is necessary to capture the
screen and save it as jpeg and display the same in a JTextPane using <img> tag.
I have made use of com.sun.image.codec.jpeg to save the image and it works fine.
After starting the application the
first picture is displayed well but the other pictures though get saved is not displayed in the JTextPane.Only the previous picture remains.
I have made use of new Instance of TextPane each time.All the captured images are saved in the same name say "images/screenshot.jpg" one at a time.
Please tell me what would be the problem.

Try to remove text from the document and set it again.
