Where is my content?

Ok - so all the content I purchased is now gone -- this is why I don't purchase much, because I don't trust this system yet.
We have two macbooks connected to our appleTV -- I had to disconnect and reconnect them in order to make 1 the primary and 1 the 2ndary - as it seems you can only sync podcasts, etc with 1 primary machine.
When I did this I lost all content purchased and downloaded directly to the appleTV -- why? and where is it now? And how do I get it back?

arghgh -- dumb -- how about a back-up online? Why should we be eating up tons of resources (both memory & the physical resources used to make the drives) to store extra versions of stuff? One of the main points of going digital is being green. Now I need to buy extra hard-drives to store all my media (as are thousands of other people) that is all sitting there on the apple servers already? Why not offer a data protection for fee and be a good company - or at least a fee based plan for back-up (I'm sure much more apple's style). This way we are not forced to waste terabytes (actually much much more when you think aggregatly) of data storage and resources.
Ok - so now i need to check which shows are missing missing (as some are) and how do I get them back?
thank you

  • Where are the contents of GPnP profile stored?

On my 3 node RAC setup using SCAN with GNS,
I renamed GPnP profile on one node , stoppped clusterware on that node and tried to restart it. The c/w started and GPnP profile file was automatically recreated with name pending.xml. The moment I changed the value of ASM_DISKSTRING parameter using SQL, pending.xml was automatically renamed to profile.xml and ASM_DISKSTRING value was updated in it. I presumed that GPnPd copied the profile from one of the other nodes.
Next I renamed the profile on all the nodes, stopped clusterware on one of the nodes and restarted it. But now again the same thing happened as earlier i.e. it was created as pending.xml and was renamed to profile.xml when updated via SQL. From where were the contents of the file read? Is it OLR?

    I am renaming ghome/gpnp/hostname/profile/peer/profile.xml
Following post explains all I did:
    http://oracleinaction.blogspot.in/2013/01/LOSEGPNPPROFILE.html
Pls also clarify why do we have gpnp profile in two locations?

Well, I've already solved one of the two issues
In order to display the icons on my buttonbar buttons, I just needed to point at {hostComponent.data.data} instead of {hostComponent.data}. I'm not sure why, but {hostComponent.data} in my skin class is a handle on my instance of ButtonBarButton, not its "data" property. Any explanation is welcomed
I still have got the first issue though. Oddly enough my design works if I put an mx Image instead of the spark BitmapImage for the client logo. That will do the trick for the moment but I'd prefer to deliver a 100% pure spark component in my prototype, and I can see no reason why BitmapImage works inside my ButtonBarButtons and doesn't otherwise...

  • Where are tasks/content of UWL stored?

    Hello folks,
I'd like to know: Where is the content (e.g. tasks) of the UWL stored? I nearly found everything in the CM (discussions, feedback, and so on), but no UWL-content.  Where are the items stored, that can be generated with the following iView? =>com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.ui.UWL
    Regards
    Steffen

    Hello Steffen,
I don't know how much this will help you, but the workflow repository in KM seems to contain (at least some of) the UWL information.  However, when attempting to view the UWL content directly from within KM, the content isn't displayable.  To test, I created a subscription on that repository and updated the progress of a task assigned to me.  A new item was created in the workflow repository at that time, but to reiterate, it contained no displayable content.
Other than that, I know of no other avenue within KM through which any kind of UWL tasks can be accessed.  If there is a way, hopefully someone else can shed more light on this topic.
    Cheers,
    Fallon

  • Where is "Tools Content Editing "

where is "Tools > Content Editing >" in Adobe XI

"try67" is correct. The Acrobat team actually uses different terminology (in case you need to look this up in Acrobat Help).
Tools, Sign and Comment are called PANES.
Within a pane, you have PANELS. Content Editing is the top-most panel in the default set of panels.
BTW, Adobe Creative Suite applications like InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop also use the term "panel" for a group of controls under a particular category name.

  • IDVD burning one project on multiple macs? where are project contents?

How do I burn one project on multiple macs? I have a idvd project I created in keynote, added music to it in Garageband, exported to quicktime, and now is in iDVD burning just fine. However I have tons of these dvd's to make, I would like to put all my mac's to work.
last night i tried to share the file, and it is just an alias when i drag it over from the macbook it was created on to my imac. the file says it is in use and locked, since the macbook that created it is burning it. If I wanted to brun on the imac, I had to wait until the macbook was done.
is there a way around this? What if I copied all files I used to make the idvd project to my imac or any computer i wanted to burn on? woudl it hen allow two macs to be burning the same project?
I figured I could do this just like on my PC, drag the file over and voila...no such luck, its like if i had dragged a shortcut over to another pc...if the first one is using the file, its locked. Basically how do i get to the actual contents of the project, so I can also bring them over and hopefully it will allow me to burn on multiple macs at the same time?
my next solution if that didn't work was to start copying dvd's using popcorn on the other macs while the macbook continues burning through idvd.
Any opinions on how i can duplicate a dvd fast...need alot of copies!

Also as to where the files are.

Why to you want to update CR If you have latest anyway? If there is latest available at later date then just go for the delta.

  • Problems with attachments - where is my content?

    Hi all!
I've got a problem with my attachment in the shopping cart. We have implement a function, where the user is able to sent an email with an attachment from the shopping cart.
If the user, who added the attachment to the shopping cart will send the email, the field PHIO_CONTENT in the table ATTACH in the shopping cart structure BBPS_SC_APP_DOCUMENT is filled an i can attach these data to the email.
But when the shopping cart will be transfered to another user during the approval worklflow, the field PHIO_CONTENT is emtpy. All other data is already existing (like PHIO_OBJID). I've got the URL to the document too (field DISP_URL = http://sapdb01.XXX.XXXXXXX.de:8000/sap/ebp/docserver/Zellen%25252Exls?phioget&KpId=DDAB1A80829CEFF1B402001A4B4A73D6&KpClass=BBP_P_DOC&sap-client=010).
Does anybody knows why the data (field PHIO_CONTENT) will not by stored in the shopping cart? Is it neccessay to load the file from doc-server? If so, how can I read the files from the document server?
    Thank you for help!
    Greetings, Florian

    Hello Florian,
I have a similar assignment where I need to send e-mail with attachments from the SC. The attachemnts can be in varius formats, i.e. DOC, XLS, TXT etc.  I wonder how do you handle the attachments?  I read the attachments using  BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL and send e-mail using class cl_document_bcs. The content of the attachemnts are in binary format and receipient can't open them.
    Thanks

  • Where the feedback content is stored

    hi,
if a user is giving feedback for a document. where the content of the feedback will be stored in KM.
can anyone give the path for that.
      all helps will be appriciated
    Regards,
    Shanthakumar.

There is no place in Portal to see the FeedBack content .We provide a folder path for the Discussion/Discussion Group/Km Discussion iVIew in iVIew property "path to root folder " .This is for reference .Suppose we can provide "/documents/discussions/New Discussion" as the folder path where the posts and feedback are supposed to get stored .However the content is actually in stored in the database and not seen in Portal . As correctly provided in the previous reply, study the article to see where it is actually stored .  I hope this suffices your answer .

  • Where's the "Content Aware Fill" tool?

This isn't really a question because I know it's not in the current beta version of LR 4 but I sure was hoping Adobe would add it!  That's about the only tool in Photoshop that a photographer could REALLY REALLY use because of so many little irritating "eye polluting" objects like telephone wires and poles, signs and little flaws in nature that can ruin a perfectly wonderful shot.  I can't afford to buy Photoshop, and this has been one of the best tools Adobe could develop, but it should be where photographers are "living" the most - and that's in Lightroom!  If it's not in this version, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add it to the wish list.  You would make so many of us very happy and expedite our editing processes when we have to shoot something we know we have to edit because of the eye pollution.  THANKS!

There are no great technology issues involved here, just marketing decisions, including the respective feature sets in PS, PSE and LR.  However a significant new function, as is Content Aware Fill, is appropriate for inclusion in a major level release (L3 > L4) rather than in an earlier point release.  Does anyone seriously believe that Content Aware Fill will not be part of LR until v5.0?
There are far more technical difficulties than you may believe ... further research on the differences between the two types of apps and how they work may be enlightening ...
I have some confidence that "if" Content Aware Fill was going to be a part of LR4, it would be in the beta for the simple fact it would need considerable Real World testing ... as I am sure such a feature in a parametric workflow would be a considerable hit on performance and resources ... where the engineers would want as much feedback from users as they could get since having a duplicate of every possible OS and hardware combination on hand in the office to test such an extensive feature isn't possible.
It's possible, however, I think, quite unlikely we will see this feature in the very near future ... though, I would like very much to be wrong.

  • Where's My Content?

Hello all, some weeks ago we changed our domain wide password. The result was that our SharePoint Foundation 2013 install no longer wanted to bring up the central admin. page, HOWEVER, the sites were fine. I did some tweaking with the service accounts, and
got the central admin. page back up, but the sites wouldn't come up.
I posted on these forums for help, but none of the suggestions made a difference. Finally, I gave up and decided to do a fresh install of SP 2013 Foundation on another server. After the setup I added the original SQL database for the original SP 2013 Foundation
install to the new install's content database.
Everything came back up immediately. Great! I was overjoyed! Then one user said they were missing items on their site. A few months ago I had used the "open with explorer" feature on their site to move over about a 1GB's worth of files and folders
into a document library. The SQL server's size rose by about 1 GB so I assumed that was the content I just added.
However, that content isn't there on the new site. I can't even open up the old site in order to move that content over to the new. And anyways, does it matter? Wasn't it all on the same content database anyway within SQL?
The user is also missing a document library that had been made in addition to the one I moved files and folders for. It was just a simple doc library where she uploaded the docs for it individually through the page itself.
At first I thought maybe because the configuration information didn't get pulled through that it didn't know it had to display the missing content. But everyone else's site is fine regarding that. What gives? What did I do wrong? How can I find this missing
content since I'm still using the same database, and I haven't reformatted the server the old install was on?

    Greetings,
There could be many potential things going on in your scenario. To ensure absolute full access to all items in the web application in your scenario, I would create a policy for the web application and grant myself full control within Central Administration.
This way you can visit the site and confirm whether or not the content does exist and what the state of the permissions are for those lists/libraries/items.
    Procedure:
    Go to Central Administration
Application Management > Manage Web Applications
Highlight the target web application, then click on the "User Policy" button in the Ribbon
In the Policy for Web Application window, click on "Add User"
Leave the "Zones" drop down selected to "(All zones)" and click the "Next" button
Add your username to the Users People picker and check the "Full Control - Has full control." checkbox then click the "Finish" button.
You should now see your user listed in the Policy for Web Application window. Click the "Ok" button
Visit your site collection and manually inspect whether or not the content exists. Change/update permissions at the site/web level as necessary
As a good security practice, once you are done remove the policy for web application you created - you shouldn't keep this in place.
Let me know if this helps and how you make out. If you still have issues, please be as specific as possible when describing what is wrong with your web application and it's content.

  • Older version of Thunderbird suddenly updated itself to 13.3.0; where are the contents of my Personal Address Book - HELP!

Last night my old old version of Thunderbird suddenly updated itself to Ver. 13.3.0. I've finally fixed it to show my messages, but under "personal address book" there are no contents (and I had a lot of contacts). I back up my Profile files every night so I know which files are involved, but WHERE in the the Ver. 13.3.0 do I point it to see my collected contacts. I must admit that the "old" version of Thunderbird was very old (perhaps 7.6.0?) but I have had no need for any of the changes since the so have not updated; BTW, I do not like 13.3.0 as everything seems to be hidden. I cannot "export" from the old Thunderbird to the new version because I now don't have the "old" version. I cannot "import" from some other email program as I was using Thunderbird and I can't find any files in my Profile with the extensions mentioned in the "import" wizard. I hope someone can help me who understands where the secrets are hidden in the Profile files. Also, the information in the "Profile Manager" article don't seem to apply to my computer (Windows 7 Pro) so I wasn't able to pursue that. I'm not a programmer but I was really enjoying the older version of Thunderbird and hope someone can help me get my contacts back. Thank you so much.

This would be totally unsupported. . .
I suspect that the format of how PAB is stored would be incompatible with what Mozilla wants.

  • Where is the 'Content Root' described in Installation Document for Knowledge Center

According to the installation document, "The Content Root is where user content is stored ... The Content Root virtual directory is a sub-directory of the Knowledge Center application..."
Is the Content Root the same as my IIS Player directory where users run the UPK content? Is this tracking the usage of the player web site or the developers' usage of the developer Virtual Directory. My confusion lies in the fact that the developer Virtual Directory and the Player Virtual directory already exist, but this says the Content Root is a sub-directory of the Knowledge Center application. I'm not sure how that works.
For example, I have the following Directory structure.
E:\upk-player (Virtual Directory where Player content is moved after being published.)
E:\upk-content (Virtual Directory where Developer content is stored)
Will the Knowledge Center create another directory under E:\Program Files\User Productivity Kit\Knowledge Center to store content? I am trying to understand what is going on before I do the installation so I can give the wizard the correct responses.
    Thanks!!
