Where is my document?

I scanned it using the Lexmark program which has a drop dodwn menu with a list of programs to scan into. Like Word, Notepad, Paint etc. etc. etc. Adobe Reader X is on that list so we choose that. It scanned the document, but never showed us a finished scan. So by theory there is a scanned PDF some where on my computer.
I already tried the help part of Lexmark.

I just watched all of my documents in Pages disappear on my iPad, now I'm left with a blank new Pages start-up.
Here is what might have happened: I got a new MacBook and downloaded Pages yesterday. Since both of these devices share iCloud, did it replace Pages on my iPad with the new one from my MacBook? If so, WHERE ARE MY DOCUMENTS from my "old" Pages on my iPad? HELP!

No pages on your new Mac is NOT linked to the icloud storage system, hwever if you have connected your iPad to the your new Mac via the USB cable then you may have reset your IPad as a new device in iTunes.
Prior to this did you have the iPad sync'ed with another PC/Mac ?
If so did you back up the IPad on that ?
If you did then you should be able to recover some of the files from that back up.

Location where the change document log is stored

Hi all,
In SRM bidding process, I need the initial bid price and the final bid price, quantity before negotiation and after negotiation, PR or project number for that bid invitation number. Can anyone tell me where these are stored. Actually I want to know where the changed document log is stored.

AFAIK there is no Project Number in Bidding Engine.
Until Quote versionning (SRM 6.0 ?), there is no other way than looking at change documents.
All changes are stored in change tables: CDHRD and CDPOS.
You can try to reuse FM BBP_CHANGE_DOC_GET_NEW.

Where do scanned documents go? I scan from the printer to the computer, it says it was scanned and sent but to where? how do you scan into an email?

When you scan to PC they go to your Documents folder. Mine saves in a folder in Documents named Scans, or possibly Scanned documents. I am using a new machine which has not received any scanned files so I can't remember the exact name but it is usually easy to identify once you open up your Documents folder.
To scan to email you will need to use the printer software installed on the PC to set it up.The document here should help:

Where is the Document Number of a Journal after the Journal has been deleted in GL?

can anyone tell me where is the Document Number going after the journal has been deleted in GL? can it be reused by another journal? or it is killed and dead in database?

They possibly still exist on the hard drive if you haven't overwritten that space already.
Your only hope is to try a file recovery program like Data Rescue 3 or some sort like that.

Where are last documents in Mavericks finder?

Firsty post on here but looking for advice on where (in the new finder on Mavericks) I can see my list of last documents. Previously it used to list them by day/week etc and it was a really convenient feature when I opened finder to see the actual docs listed in that way.
I know I can change each of my folders to 'arrange by last opened' which goes some way to what I want, but this still has everything categorised within individual folders so I still have to click several times to get a single document.
I basiclally want to open finder then just click once if hte document I am looking for was recently used. I am 99% sure this is how finder used to work before Mavericks??

Folder that don't start with "LabVIEW" are MSI folders. These are defined by Microsoft. The "Program Files Common" refers to the "Common Files" folder inside of "Program Files". You can also see the list here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/811FACF92E678065862576660077CE21. There is no shortcut for the "Public Documents" folder accessible from the NI installer.

We have a pre-xdb document management system where we supply vendor documents in a table in one schema identified by a number and allow the customer to customize any of these documents by creating a document in a document table in another schema.
Multiple customers can be hosted on the same database in this way where they all share the same vendor documents but can customise their documents as it suits them.
Can you suggest how XDB and its webdav features could be used in this way and recommend what reading would be most useful for us to learn how to port our document application to XDB.

The ACL mechanism with XML DB can do this. A read only acl on the master copy of the document and private ACL on the copy

Update document library item where a docx document uploaded using powershell script

when i update an existing item of a document library using script i faced the issue.
i uploaded two .txt files and two word docx files and a png file.
where i update .txt file item there is no issues , but for other items i have problem.

Please check if file is checkout or locked , and if not then checkout it and then try to update -

1. Allow unsafe update at web

Where are Page documents

When I create Page documents on my iPad where are they on my Mac when iCloud is on?

So in other words documents sync automatically on iOS devices but you still have to manually upload and download from the Mac?

If you use ST05 to implement at trace on your userid, and then save a document through the web dynpro, you should be able to see where in the database the document is being stored.
If you drill down to the underlying source, you should be able to find the area of code performing the save.

It does not tell how Collaxe's samples are related to each other.
For example: LoanFlow Example
In Collaxa's document there are very well mentioned that the whole sample
concists of multiple small samples. Those samples have their own tasks
and they must be executed in certain order. Otherwise the LoanFlow Sample does not work, or should I say StarLoanUI (.NET consle app) does not work.
I don't understand your attitute which is that software developer's should have a group of samples BUT without any information how they are executed (order, relationships etc.) I thing you have this document, and of course you have
read it when Collaxe was not part of Oracle. So, it does not bother you.
But It bothers new users of BPEL.

Until a few months ago (March 2011, I believe), there was a webpage entitled Portable Product Sheet. This page is very simple yet they contain very important details about the performance of Cisco appliances. Then sometime in March or April 2011, someone moved or deleted the webpage. All there is left is the router performance sheet.
Does anyone know where this very valuable page went? Can someone from Cisco please restore this?

There is a creative way that you can access the archived information. Go to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, enter in the Portable Product Sheet URL, and click the Latest button. You can download the legacy documents from there. Keep in mind, of course, that the versions you get may not reflect the latest information.

Where does app.documents.add() get its document profile from?

It has a set of defaults listed in the scripting reference, I understand that much. but a new doc (without specifying anything else) also contains swatches/symbols/brushes etc. that don't seem to match any existing doc profile. Where is it fishing these from?

I tried various scenarios and documents.add() always matched the Print Profile, which happens to be the first in the list.
