Where is my FaceTime app?

I can not locate the FaceTime app on my phone. Any suggestions ?

As the manual explains, you tap contact, select a contact, scroll down to the facetime button in order to use facetime

Facetime is in your contacts itself. Go into your contacts, tap on one, facetime button is on the bottom right. Icloud is in settings, scroll down to icloud.

There is no app to get.
It is part of the OS.
In some Middle eastern countries, they do not allow this feature. If your phone came from one of these countries, you cannot get facetime at all.

I kept trying to log in my apple ID to use FaceTime app but it always shows me that an error encountered while logging in your ID try it later,but I am using the same ID on my iPad as well as on my iPhone they are working perfectly fine tell me solution ?

None of this has worked.
My Apple ID and password work with everything else. I have a good Internet connection. No Firewall active from my IMac.
LIke I said, I haven't installed anything recently and FaceTime ver. 1.0.5 on OS X 10.6.8 was working fine prior to yesterday.
I restarted my IMac to run Mavericks and FaceTime 3.0 under OS X 10.9.4 is working and I was able to login and use FaceTime on Mavericks with no problem.
For some unknown reason FaceTime on IOS and on my Mac were asking me to login into FaceTime when I haven't had to do this for quite sometime.
Older FaceTime 1.0.5 all of a sudden has decided to be a problem with login on my IMac under Snow Leopard.
The only thing left I am going to try is the two-step Apple ID verification process where I can use a app specific password, but Apple makes you wait three days before completing the two-step verification.
If this doesn't work, then I do not know what will solve this issue and now I made my Apple ID login process more complicated than I really wanted it to be.
I purposely stayed away from using the two-step ID verification login.

The FaceTime app for Mac can't be "gifted" but you can purchase an iTunes Gift Card that can be redeemed at the Mac App Store and used to purchase the FaceTime app.

Hi There, I'm living in Saudi Arabia & I noticed that FaceTime is missing in the settings as well as the FaceTime App Icon in the the springboard after updating the iOS. I tried to fix it by restoring my ipad air but it's fruitless. Is there any solution? Is it missing because of my residency site/Country?

Why is not possible to restore facetime from the devices been sold in middle east, if those devices are used in other countries where there is not such limitations?

in iPhone or iPad (3/4G versions) it iseasy to check where the system is since all those have sim cards installed, which make possible to handle the operator and the country where the sim or operator is located.

initially i didnt pay attention on facetime, but when started searching it is not there. Support didnt help a lot initially, just searching back again understood there are some devices in which the facetime is disabled.
again cannot understand how this disable has been made and cannot be undo, since it is possible doing it using jailbreak, instead there is not a normal way to do it differently from apple?
this is very strange. I leave in albania, and have a vodafone albania sim card in it, and all those should be more than enough to give me possiblity to use it, instead if someone is going to middleeast at the time he conects to the middle east operators this service should be disabled.

The ME434AE/A phone while you may have bought it in Qatar where FaceTime is no longer banned, is a phone that came originally from the UAE or KSA where FaceTime is not allowed. Taking the phone to another country does not change things. There is no way to get FaceTime on iphones that originate from the UAE?KSA Read for face time in ME434AE/A

So the new Messages beta is out, and I have it downloaded. From what I understand, it's an all in one, for texts, IMs, and FaceTime together. Does this incorporate FaceTime by itself? Or do I still need to keep the FaceTime app around? Or can I delete it?

When you install it, it will remove iChat, but not FaceTime. I suspect it uses components of FaceTime that you'll need, whereas it completely replaces what iChat does, so you no longer need iChat itself.

Help please. FaceTime app missing on my iphone (ios6). Checked that Restrictions are NOT enabled. Facetime does not appear in settings. Went into AppStore and it is not available.

If it is not banned in your country, some middle eastern countries ban facetime. Then it is in your contacts itself. But sounds like its banned where you are. Or at least where you bought the phone from.

Only have Facetime App in Qatar

I've recently brought a iPhone 5S from Qatar, Facetime app is there and works perfectly. I've just returned from UK on holiday where i noticed the Facetime app had disappeared. So it only seems to be appear in Qatar.
My phone therefore does have Facetime capability but I really want Facetime for anywhere I go in the world. Is there anything I can do to make this happen?

FaceTime is not available on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This is by government decree. The FaceTime app can't be downloaded or installed on these iPads.

i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do.
