Where is my I- Pad

I signed up for Triple Play when a local Wal-Mart had an Xfinity representative there that said if I did I would get an I-Pad. Well needless to say I have not reiceved my I-Pad yet. She said it would be here in 6 to 8 weeks after I signed up, so where is it? It is not right to promise somebody something and then not give it to them.

I just joined and followed the instructions to dial but I cannot find any dial pad.

Where is the drum pad in Notion?

Just purchased and downloaded Notion. It says in the reference manual that there is a drum pad using which I can select which voice to enter notes. I can only call up a keyboard, a fretboard or a mixer - no drum pad. This is particularly weird; I would expect to have to purchase additional instruments but I would not expect to have to purchase an actual part of the program itself. Perhaps I am missing something. Has anybody the answer to this?

Hi! I just got a new 80GB iPod Classic. The earbuds are NOT comfortable. My friends have foam pads that came with their iPod earbuds, but there are no foam pads in the box. Help?

They Apple earphones no longer come with foam pads, I believe they were discontinued when the earphones were updated to the latest design. Replacement foam pads can be found in many local electronics or audio shops quite cheaply if you have a look around.

I click on Collaboration -> Rooms or Collaboration -> MY Sessions and I can't find the CLP.
Is there a permission that I failed to give myself.
Using the CLP I should be able to send instant msgs and etc.
Need some education. I was also looking for some how-to guides if you know of any.

Here it is:
1. Logon to portal as Administrator
2. Navigate to Content Administrator -> Portal Content
3. Open the tree 'Portal Content'
4. Open the tree 'Content Provided by SAP'
5. Open the tree 'End User Content'
6. Open the tree 'Standard Portal user'
7. Open the Object 'Default Framework Page'
8. Open the Properties of 'Tool Area'
9. Select the 'Property Category' as 'Select all'
10. Set the property 'Enable Collaboration Launch Pad' to "Yes"
11. Set the property 'Enable Real-Time Collaboration' to "Yes"
12 Restart the portal (If you are not getting Collaboration Launch Pad).

Padding in WebDynpro view

Hi,
We are developing an application in WD and where-ever we add padding in the view we see, instead of the padding spaces, an error saying: <i>urBidiEmbed</i>.
We are working on an SP13 system (J2EE, EP, NWDS).
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Sorry no idea. I am myself using SP13 and also using padding in many of the views and I never came across this error. It would be helpful to open an OSS message though.

PS Thank you for the points. If you cant wait until the OSS message is answered, you could use transparent container wherever you are using padding - I know tedious and a dirty work around but that could help!!

Triggering loops in sequence in logic studio 9

I've been wanting to trigger a sequence of different sounds/loops in logic using just a single pad for playing live.
Is there a way of programming with Exs24 or Ultrabeat or otherwise a bunch of sounds so that once one is played the next time the pad is hit the next loop/soundfile loads in and is triggered and so on.
Hope I'm explaining things well enough.

Yes it is a good idea JG - I was thinking the same as you at first but reading the second condition of the OP "the next time the pad is hit the next loop/soundfile loads in and is triggered and so on" so it will not be possible using Touch Tracks only ( probably with some additional environment gear ). The other condition is that he uses one and same note as a triggering pad, while using Touch Tracks you need to map each midi region or event to different triggering note etc. The other inconvenience of the Touch Tracks is that Logic must run...
My tool is a small step sequencer where you use same pad/note as a trigger. Each time you hit the trigger the step sequencer moves to the next step i.e next note sample etc does not matter if Logic is running or not. Probably you must try it and see what the difference between it and the Touch Tracks.

How to get leading zeroes in exponent of e-format

In order to mimic an ancient file specification, am trying to write DBL numbers in e-format where the exponent is padded to two digits with leading zeroes.
For example: -1.15091E-03
Is there a simple format code that does this or do I need to write something from scratch?

Adjusting position of submenus

I have scoured the forum but cannot find an answer for this. I want to move my submenus so they are not jammed into my main menu. Can't understand why this is so difficult. Like many others, every time I adjust I get the snap back into original position.

If we specify our own name, system will showi the following error message.............
ERROR: "Dataset does not contain object "
In this case in the downloaded file we need to rename the form name with our own form name.
Exp:-
exporting form name is : ZTEST ( from QA server into local file )
while importing if we need new form name : ZTEST1
we need to rename every where in the note pad of downloaded file as ZTEST1 .
execute the RSTXSCRP provide the form name 'ZTEST1' and select IMPORT and F8.
will solve the problem.

Here are links to all of the relevant postings that I have found. They show that this is not an isolated or new problem. A lot of Skype users need this issue to be resolved.

Photoshop can not print the maximum amount of data that can be spooled to a PostScript printer is 2G

Hi all,
This is the first time I've worked with the .psb (large format) size and I have gone to print a PDF of the file and I get the message:
"photoshop can not print this document because the document is too large. The maximum amount of data that can been spooled to a PostScript printer is 2GB".
The file itself is a 2700x1570mm 300dpi flatten .psb image that is 500mb in size.
Not sure how I can get around this, where abouts do I see the image size information that is being spooled?

There's no easy way to see the size of the image that's being spooled, but 2G limit is uncompressed, 4 bytes per pixel (either RGBX where X is a padding byte, or CMYK, depending on the image / printer), times about 1.6 because the image data is sent in ASCII85 format rather than binary.
With your image at over 100 inches at 300 dpi, you're also perilously close to the 32k limit on the pixels in any one dimension (31,900 by my calculations) that PostScript can handle.
The limits are 32767 pixels in either dimension, and 2GB of data total. The data that's sent at 4 bytes per pixel, and converted to ASCII85 so that it'll make it across any connection. ASCII85 gives about a 1.6 expansion factor, if I remember correctly.
Do you really need a 10 foot image printed at 300 dpi? If not, changing down to 200 dpi will probably let this image print.

MacBook Unibody Spillage

I spilled around 100ml of juice on my macbook keyboard today. the back has been off and wiped but I was wondering the best way to clean the keyboard. The magsafe brings up a green light when plugged in. I am led therefore to believe that it could be the power button can't contact properly to turn on the machine.

I spilled wine on my mid 2009 unibody macbook pro, now when I power up I see Hard drive light On, I hear fan noise, but don't hear any startup Apple chime and nothing on display, I cleaned the logic board with 91% alcohol, but that didn't change anything. Before cleaning the logicboard, their were no signs of wine on the logicboard, but there was a lot of wine on the keyboard black sheet.
My guess is:
1. The keyboard might be causing this behaiour, I wan't to bypass the keyboard, can you please confirm if these are the right power pads on logicboard?
