Open System Preferences using the menu item " > System Preferences" then select the "Security & Privacy" pane. selec the "Location Services" on the left and enable using the checkbox:
Just noticed you details show you are running OS X 10.7.5 so I am not sure this is exactly correct.

i got my first macbook air about a year ago. awhile ago i started getting these notifications saying "your startup disk is almost full" or "your startup disk is full". i was wondering how to get more space on my startup disk, if that is possible?
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive

2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits. -
How can I turn my ipod on remotely so that I can use the Find my Iphone app (sound mode) to find it
I have a ipod 5 gen and I lost it somewhere around the house. I've used the Find My Iphone app, but it indicates that its offline. So I'm guessing it ran out of battey or its turned off. That's why I am asking if theres anyway that I could turn my ipod back on in order for the sound to be played from FMI app. Thanks alot for any future help.
You can't, When off it is dead
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

How do I get iphoto to recognize that a computer really is connected to the internet? I cannot use places to locate my photos, because the software keeps telling me my computer is not connected. I know the computer is connected.
Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. It the problem persists make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
If the new library does'nt have that problem then your original library is damaged. Post back if that's the case and we'll go from there.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro Retina. Checked my OSX and it is version 10.8.1... trying to find a way to upgrade to a higher version. In the app store it doesnt show the update nor downloading the new Mountain Lion OXS doesnt work. Please help

Not yet. There was an upgrade page to 10.8.2 for the late 2012 models but it's down now. I have to assume that Apple pulled it because of some bugs. I would look for something next week, more likely than not. In the meantime, the OP should be good with 10.8.1 until the update shows up again.

When I use the find my friend app to notify me when my wife has left her class it tells me that I have left (John Doe has left) instead of telling me that friend ABC has left. So if I am checking to see that everyone is on their way and I have Notify activated regardless who its reporting on it say I (John Doe) has left. In short It just tells me that I have left no matter who I’m checking on.

You state you configured your iCloud account on your iPhone 5 but the Find My iPhone app says it's not registered.
Did you actually enable Find My iPhone on the phone?

My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s'. Last night she switched to ios7 and I am still using ios6. I use the find my iPhone app to keep track of her and since the update it no longer works. Her phone says its on but when I try and locate it from either my phone or laptop it shows it offline. Any suggestions. It's my only peace of mind! Thanks!
Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case? -
I have lost my iphone 4s and want to use find my iphone app on my boyfriends iphone 3s to delete the info on my now lost phone. Do i need to log out of his icloud inorder to log into mine to do this on his phone?
You need to use the Find My iPhone app (in the itunes store - free). When invoking it on a device, you enter the ID password of the account the lost device is connected to. You can also use a computer's browser and log into icloud.com.

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

I have a song I have purchased and downloaded. When looking at the "Songs" view the song is listed twice. One with a cload download button next to it even though I already have it downloaded. I deleted the existing file and it was still listed twice, this time with a cload button next to both listings. How do I get iTunes to recognize that I have purchased it only once?
I've tried all of that and iTunes still won't sync my phone. I've deauthroized my computer than reauthorized it. I've deauthorized all computers then reauthorized my computer and every time I go to sync, iTunes keeps telling me my computer isn't authorized.
