Where is my online number?!

Hi,
I ordered my online number about a week ago and only got around to paying it today, and I wanted to send it forward to family and friends, but I can't for the life of me find the actual number as I didn't write it down before. Can anyone tell me where I can find it under account settings? I wanted to email customer care but can't find any email for them, either.

I can confirm that you have 2 active Online Numbers at the moment (UK and Hong Kong).
If you wish to see them, you need to log in to your account (on Skype webpage) and click on "Online Number" tab. There you will be able to check the details of your numbers and extend them if needed.

    Your Skype Number will appear in your account settings where you manage subscriptions and call features.  A Skype Number has only one purpose: to provide a real fixed line telephone number that people who do not use Skype can use to call you - and you receive their calls on Skype.

    I have an account (personal) where I bought Online number.
    I would like to create new account for my company.
    Can I transfer this Online number to the new subscription?
    I succsesfuly run both primiry and secondary at same time:

    Unfortunately Skype doesn't offer a phone support.
    And I'm sorry to inform you that transferring Skype producto from one account to another is not possible.
    What you can do is to try requesting a refund from Customer Service and puchase a new number on other account (you will not be able to buy the same number, as it will be reserved for your first account for 90 days).
    At this point I cannot guarantee that you will receive a refund.
    Customer Service will inform you if you are eligible for that.

    Regarding your subscription, since Unlimited US & Canada is offered only to US and Canada customers(located in these 2 countries) I'm afraid you can't purchase it right now.
    You probably have only Unlimited US listed here:http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
    Alternative is to use Skype Credit until you get back.
    Tip: When you get back to US I'd recommend purchasing subscription with Skype Credit, then it will be extended automatically and no matter where you can add Skype Credit to your account.

    When I go to welcome to skype mattmcginn_hk, I do not see my online number anywhere.  But I received the following message on Sept 20.  After I reinstated my online number.  Why is that?

    If you are using the latest Skype for Windows just click on your name on top left and then on the "Profile" tab to the right. Scroll down to see your online number.

  • ONLINE number is TAKEN - WHERE'S SKYPE support?

    I paid 1 year subscription for a number that someone else is using. I set up my voicemail and it still rings at someone else's number. However, when I place a call that caller ID shows-up, but it does not help because IT DOES NOT WORK AS MY ONLINE NUMBER!
    I'd be happy to change the number, I just need some number to work ASAP! 
    No one has offered a solution or help so far. This forum is more like blind leading the blind and I can't reach anyone at SKYPE support. Seems like going premium is the only way to get support - but if I can't reach anyone at SKYPE now - I can only guess how easy it will be to cancel the recurring monthly premium subscription!  How do I contact support or account so I could at least concel and get my $60 returned if they can't fix this? Thanks!

    you need to go into your account, cancel your existing Online Number and then purchase another
    the fact that the existing number has apparently already been allocated to someone else, perhaps not even a Skype user, is NOT uncommon in the industry, so I wouldn't come down too hard on Skype
    note that canceling a Skype service normally just means NOT RENEWING IT, so to get the necessary refund you will need to contact Customer Support after you cancel, and provide the necessary details

    Me and my dad share the same online number for friends and colleagues to call us, but it seems that the calls that come through to me are ad-hoc whilst my dad gets every call on his system.  I just wondered if this is because 2 systems are trying to access the same online number?

  • Purchased the Photoshop / LightRoom 5 "CC" for $9.99 - where's the serial number(s)?  (cross-post)

    Title pretty much says it all.
    I am new to Creative Cloud - and this forum, etc.
    I purchased the $9.99 / month deal that Adobe is offering to new customers, etc.
    Downloaded everything that I need to download (I think).
    Tried to run Photoshop - but am being asked if I want to start my "trial"
    or I have the option to "License This Software"
    but where is the Serial Number for Photoshop & LightRoom 5?
    I imagine it's right under my nose - but I do not see it anywhere.
    The screen which appears (after I sign in) says:
    Am I supposed to "Start Trial" or "License This Software"
    To make things even more confusing:
    I just ran LightRoom 5 for the first time.
    There was a serial number automatically inserted in the space provided.
    Not sure what's going on - but this is becoming a little overwheling.
    I suppose it's the price I must pay for being an old fart!

    My issue has been resolved, however - it was due to a lengthy chat I had online with an Adobe Associate.
    We were able to get everything running the way 'twas intended,
    but there were some hoops of fire with which I had to jump.
    Wish I could help....but the only thing I can say is to attempt a "Live Chat"
    With the Adobe help team.

    Is there any way to fix this?  My online number works because I recently paid for it and it expires May 20.  
    I know the number works because when I call myself, it rings but displays the "unkown number" problem.
    Let me know if there's a way to solve this please.

    Please escalate this issue. In the UK, BT has 15.8 million landline customers. Sype Online Number in the UK is useless for business until Caller ID works.

    My online number is not displayed on my clients phone based in USA. I have tried calling on my mobile and a +4044, +3444.... numbers are displayed.
    This is really rediculus as you have already charged me for the service

    You didn't mention which country your Online Number was from.  Not all of Skype's Online Numbers can be used for Caller ID.  If it is from a country where its use as Caller ID is permitted (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US), you can set that up here on the Skype web site.  Click on the Account link at the top of this page, then log in with your Skype account name and password.  Once you get in, you should see Caller ID Settings along with a link to change that. 
    Even if you have your Caller ID number properly set in your Skype account, there are instances where that number won't show up on the phones you call.  This is usually related to how the calls are patched into the telephone network, and would be beyond the control of Skype.

  • Online number previously used by dodgy company

    Just purchased a new online number couple of days ago.
    Today I got a call through that number demanding where their product was. Huh!
    Did a search using my new number and a company came up that sells products online. That number is everywhere.
    It is no good for me. How do I cancel/change that number. 
    I need a quick fix for this as my site is about to go live.

    Please do contact Skype Customer Service to request this subscription be cancelled and refunded, so you can start with a different number.
    Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
    If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
