Sharing to DVD I get the following alert " There was an error burning your disc.  Not enough Disk Space in Target Folder"  I have 700GB   free.  Where is this target folder located?  How can I fix this problem? This is definitely not a space problem.
Since starting with FCP X, there has been tons of issues, now that the product actually works with the exception above, makes it impossible to share the production.  Has Apple fixed this problem.  is there a knowledge base article on this?
On another note, One reason I have not purchased support on FCP X is because you sold a product that never worked for almost an entire year or more.   Now I can finally finish my project,  I cannot share it.....Really.  This has to be fixed now, I am loosing money as I typed this.

Just curious, why would repairing permissions, rebooting ( rebooted 2 times already today) or creating a new user possibly fix this.
I cannot create a new user, that is way too much work.  I will repair permissions again,  I repaired permissions just a few days ago. Then I will reboot, login and turn off App Nap and rerun the Share DVD.
There must be something seriously wrong with the OS if your are suggesting creating another user.   WOW!

  • Where is the pictures folder in finder?

I have a macbook air OS X 10.9.5.  When I tried to scan a document the destination folder was Pictures but it was greyed out.  I then had to send the scan to iPhotos in order to send it on by email.
There isn't a Pictures folder when I look in Finder. Should there be?
Its a pain to send the scan by iPhotos because it inserted it into the document and only gave me a small text box to write all of the text of the email.

    Hello,
Maybe you've accidentally removed the folder from the sidebar.
If you press "Command + ," you'll get into the preferences of Finder.
Click the tab "Sidebar" and select "Pictures".

  • In Windows 8, where does sources \ etwproviders folder locate ?

In my windows 8 notebook,  I accidentally move a folder  sources\etwproviders (which is actually an empty folder) to my deaktop. I don't know where to move it back. Could someone advise me what to do ?   Thank you much.

While I can't provide definitive answer, recommend searching around
Windows Deployment with the Windows ADK
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824947.aspx
The proposed answer of C:\sources\etwproviders may be incorrect.  For one, using Administrative Command Prompt, and running (type and enter)
echo %SYSTEMROOT% is believed to give the location of the "root of the Windows system folder".  On my machine with Windows 8.1, this gave
    C:\windows.
(Running the command echo %WINDIR% gave the same result.)
C:\Windows\WinSxS\FileMaps contains two files whose names begin with
sources_etwproviders ... and sources_etwproviders_en-us ..., but I don't know how to use these files.  My reply should be more of a question since I am looking for the correct answer also.

  • Where is the Downloads folder located on iMac 10.4.11?

    .....

    Welcome to ASC!
By default, Mac browsers save all downloads to the Desktop. See if the folder is here:
Macintosh Hard Drive > Users > [yourusername]
    or
Macintosh Hard Drive > Users > [yourusername] > Documents
If it's not there, simply create one where ever you like.
Once you've found it or created it, go to your browser and set it to route downloads there. In Safari Preferences:
It's similarly located in other browsers like FireFox.

  • Where is the coverart folder located so I can restore it in TIME MACHINE

I am adding songs day by day from the 30 days of the grateful dead for 2013.
Somehow, the cover art from 2013 replaced the cover art for 2012....and 2012 coverart is GONE...
How do I restore this state in time machine? I don't know where the folders are because everything is cryptic to me...

If you ever have reset Firefox then you may still have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop.

I assume by this you mean using the iDisk as a web host, using the web.me.com or homepage.mac.com URLs? There is no provision to do this in iCloud, so you will need to find another hosting service: MobileMe will be closed down next June and everything on your iDisk will be deleted, so anything you have hosted there for the web will become unavailable.

  • Does anyone know where the dashboard stickies folder location on Yosemite?

I've been looking all over the place to no avail. I'm currently trying to look for it in one of my backups but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Has it changed from Mavericks/Lion to Yosemite at any point?

IIf you export the DVD and then go into the library bundle while the app is still open they should be there. Do with extreme care. Copy from bundle. Don't move them.

  • Fix "Folder Location" in Display

I have a 2011 iMac that I transfered all my files to from a PC.  I had to buy Photoshop Elements 8.0 in order to transfer my catalogue of 10,000 images with all the tags and albums etc into the Organizer for the mac.  I understand that once images are imported into Organizer, all file management (moving images or folders that contain images) has to occur through Organizer (unlike Picasa) otherwise the catalogue can't locate the images.
If you move images in the Finder you must then search in Organizer to Relocate the image and Reconnect them with the catalogue.  I found this out the hard way. I think that Photoshop ought to correct this to be able to move and have the catalogue find the images regardless how they are moved as file management should be able to occur either way.  However, I know that you can do file management of images within Organizer and the Catalogue by chosing Folder Location view in the Display pull down on the upper right corner.  However, there is a glitch.  After I move images from one file or Folder Location to another in the Display, the Display does not accurately show where the new images are located.  I find that some images are shown where I moved them and some in the adjacent folder.  Yet, if I check the actual location in Finder they ARE moved to the designated folder.  IE the Folder Location view does not reflect where the images actually are after you move them.  This is a big problem if you have to do file management through Organizer because Folder location doesn't accurately show where images are.
Finally, I've played with Picasa and while I like the option for viewing ALL images chronologically like Photoshop, I also like the idea of being able to view images by the folder location.  Folder Location in Photoshop could do this, but it only displays the lowest folder of image, rather than being able to click on a folder in Folder Location and show all the images in that folder by sub folders.
Any body else have this problem with images not correctly shown where they are in Folder Location under Display or want the option how to view images?

    Vlad,
You'll get much faster and better responses in the Photoshop Elements forum.  I had trouble even grasping what you're talking about.

  • Okmarks folder located in the C drive?

i want to copy all my favorites sites from the favorites folder in IE to firefox...where is the booksmark folder located in my computer? e.g. (program files, my documents, mozilla folder)

You can't just "copy" your Favorites into a Firefox file, Firefox stores that data in a different format than IE uses.
    In IE:
File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file
    ''then in Firefox:''
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Kevin is suggesting that you store the projects you create while working through his book in a folder called RoboHelpProjects. It is not where you have to store every project you ever create. That is for the purposes of his book.
RoboHelp initially defaults to My RoboHelp Projects but it's up to you whether you do. Generally on the forums we advise against that as  it is part of your profile and can result in excessively long path names in a few cases. Generally where authors create file names that are so long they almost serve as the content.
Projects always have a root folder, call them Project 1 and Project 2 for this purpose. You can have those folders directly off your C drive (or other local partition) or within in a parent folder as above.
Now to what you can and cannot do. You can delete a whole project by selecting Project 1 or Project 2 in Windows Explorer. Obviously if you delete the parent folder you will delete all your projects within.
What you must not do is delete individual files within a project using Windows Explorer, for that you use RoboHelp's Project Manager. The exception is if you go to Tools > Reports there is a report Unused Files. Files listed there will have to be deleted using Windows Explorer for the very good reason they do not appear in Project Manager and, therefore, cannot be deleted that way.
If you think about it, it is similar to Word. There is no option to delete a document there other than using File > Open and right clicking. Not very intuitive.

  • Changing Default Location of MY PICTURES folder in Windows 7

    Hi Guys
I have noticed that in Windows 7 the 'MY Pictures' folder is no longer a sub-section of the 'My Documents' Folder.  I have moved my 'My documents' and 'Desktop' folders within my user profile to a NEW location (another partition) but would like to know how this is now done for the 'My Pictures' Folder also ?
Normally it would move with the 'My Documents' folder but, as I have said above, the 'My Pictures' now seems to be a separate entity to 'My Documents' as a whole.
    Thansk

The answer you are looking for can be found at: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/move-my-pictures-to-different-location/ and is where I acquired the information below.
One way Windows helps you organize your files is to direct different kinds of content to different locations. There’s a Music folder, a Videos folder, a Saved Games folder, and a Pictures folder. Put all your digital pictures in your Pictures folder,
for example, and that’s where most photo applications will prompt you to open and save your files.
And as explained in the previous section, Windows Explorer will be more likely to display your pictures as thumbnails if they’re in the Pictures folder (or a subfolder thereof). But what if you don’t want to put your pictures there? Previously,
I wrote about how you can
change the location of the My Documents folder , but what if you only want to move the My Pictures folder?
Since years of digital photos can take up gobs of hard disk space, many people have started storing their pictures (as well as their music) on second hard disks, and it can be a pain to have to manually switch to the new location each time you need to open
or save a file. The solution is to tell Windows where your Pictures folder ought to be, a
task that requires a quick Registry modification (make sure to
    backup the registry first):
    1. Open the Registry Editor by running “regedit”
    2. Expand the branches to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders then choose
    My Pictures :
    3.  To edit the value, double click the “My Pictures” registry entry and enter a new path of the My Pictures directory:
For example, to change to “D:\Pictures”, enter that path to the value data field then click OK:
The change should take effect immediately, but you may have to restart any open applications before they’ll recognize the new location. To test the change, open Microsoft Paint (mspaint.exe), and select File > Open.  The default folder should
be the path you entered above.
