Where is my "Popular" folder

My "Popular" folder within my bookmarks bar has disappeared. It was there the last time I went online, then it was gone. Not noticing, I synced my Ipod touch and the file is gone there too.

Step 1. I open a web page.
Step2. I press ctrl+d.
Step3. I do not see the window where I choose the folder I wish the bookmark to be saved in.

Where is the extension folder for Adobe Bridge? (Mac)

I am trying to install the output module on Adobe Bridge. I am totally new to Creative Suite and photoshop. I can't find any information on bridge extensions at all. Here's the page I found on installing the output module- http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
I downloaded it but after that is says to copy it into the extension folder. Where is the extension folder? Is it is Bridge? Is it in Finder? Any information on extensions is much appreciated! What exactly are extensions? What is the difference between the extension folder and extension manager?

At first sight I can' see anything wrong about the correct locations you used.
There was no need to delete all workspaces but that also should do no harm I would think.
You once pointed at the bridge6.plist file but it is not clear to me what you did with it. Personally I would quit Bridge and delete this plist file manually and then restart with again holding down option and use reset preferences.
And you did also use the reset to standard workspaces instead of the reset workspace to only reset the selected workspace. I don't know for sure this will make a difference but it is worth a try.
And while you are in the user library to delete the plist file for Bridge also look in the folder caches in this library.
User / library/caches/adobe/Bridge CC and inhere find and delete both the plug in and cache folder, then restart Bridge.
Finally it might be also worth a try to download CS6, it should not be needed to do so but it was one of the earlier solutions that worked. In your ACC menu click on any app that shows blue and this brings you to the CC website. Choose download center and find PS. Click on the icon and this gives you the detailed download page. Inhere you can change CC to CS6.
Download PS6 it and install it (this also installs the CS6 version of Bridge which was not a separate download in CS6). Then try first start CS6 and start the AOM which is installed by default in this version.
Then when having used this once quit CS6 and try CC (or even combine with restarting your Mac).

Where is the favorites folder in firefox?

just where is the bookmarks folder in Firefox? i need to get my favorites into Firefox and when i use the import under the files tab i do get them put into the bookmarks but they are under a folder and i want them to be in the firs pull down when i click on the bookmarks button. thanks

Firefox bookmarks are stored in one file named '''places.sqlite''' in your Profile folder.

Where is the Sites folder in Mavericks? Only now I am realizing that I don't have a Sites folder where it used to be: Go/Home/Sites
My local website folder used to be in the Sites folder. I am having website-synchronizing problems.

Since starting with FCP X, there has been tons of issues, now that the product actually works with the exception above, makes it impossible to share the production. Has Apple fixed this problem. is there a knowledge base article on this?
On another note, One reason I have not purchased support on FCP X is because you sold a product that never worked for almost an entire year or more.   Now I can finally finish my project, I cannot share it.....Really. This has to be fixed now, I am loosing money as I typed this.

Just curious, why would repairing permissions, rebooting ( rebooted 2 times already today) or creating a new user possibly fix this.
I cannot create a new user, that is way too much work. I will repair permissions again, I repaired permissions just a few days ago. Then I will reboot, login and turn off App Nap and rerun the Share DVD.
There must be something seriously wrong with the OS if your are suggesting creating another user.   WOW!

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and provide /cores/ as the path. If that folder's empty, click here.

Where is the LOGIC folder ???

Hi. I installed Logic 7 on my Dual 2.3 for the first time today . I have 2 hard drives , one just for audio , so the install went to my system drive. Under applications i can see the Logic Icon which opens the program. Where is the physical folder , i mean where r the EXS24 samples etc.
Sorry its my first week with OSX.....
I shall be upgrading to 7.1 soon , so i will need to delete all this before installing that wont i ??

Hey Faisal,
OSX, sorts all applications right down in the application folder. Asscociated folders and documents are sorted in a folder called Application Support.
So your "Logic folder" is located here: system drive/library/Aplication Support
You actually have another one here also: User(probably your name)/Library/Application Support
This one is for your own saved patches etc.
So the Factory Library to your Exs 24 are located in the first and your own will be located in the second, by default. You don't have to follow this though.
You will not have to delete anything to run the updater, actually, you really shouldn't!

I did a release build but in the build there is no Services Folder like in the debug build? Where is the Services folder and where do I put it?

iPhoto just got updated to Photos on my Macbook Air Yosemite 1-.10.3 Where is the trash folder in Photos? iPhoto had a trash folder and I could go back and search for a photo I'd deleted. I cannot find a trash folder on Photos. What happened to all the photos I had in the trash folder in iPhoto?

It's not calle Recently Deleted and is reached via the File ➙ Show Recently Deleted menu option.
There you can the remove them from the library or return them to the library.

i have just bought the msi megastick 128 (version 2.04) and i use windows xp.
after installing the cd ,the windows found the msi and the i tried to format the msi.i searched for the msi folder (format) but i couldn`t find it.,so i format the msi with the windows xp using fat and not fat32(i rode the forum before i decided to buy it )
everything went well and i have now more than 30 songs of mp3 in my msi
i have three questions for all of you:
1-where is the format folder of the msi (i saw it on the anandtech review)?
2-how can i repeat between a to b(saw it on anandtech too)
3- is it possible to create a playlist and hear only the desired playlist??

I don't understand your question. Please specify what you mean by "Format folder".
When playing a song, push Fn (near the microphone) to set point A, push Fn again to set B (repeating will start) and push Fn again to stop the A-B function.

Where is my /dev folder

Guys, trying to install and use Wireshark on my 1st gen unibody MBP (10.6.6 2.4GHz 4GB) and there are some background processes which involve changing permissions on some files in the /dev folder. There's a script included which should change these permission on startup, which is all fine, but it fails when it runs telling me there's an error on line 35 - now I'm no programmer and I haven't pulled apart the script to find what line 35 is trying to do, but what is clearly part of the problem is that I have no /dev folder. I have unhidden the hidden files and folders, and I have a /dev alias, but no /dev folder. Clicking the alias tells me it can't find the destination. Now all documentation I can find tells me that the /dev folder should be in the root of the drive on all versions of Mac OS incl Snow Leopard. Have they changed it with 10.6.6 or one of the other point releases? Seems to be a pretty fundamental thing to have removed, but I sure as **** haven't removed it, and surely (given that it contains device drivers) if it was meant to be there and wasn't, I'd be running into some pretty severe difficulties running the machine at all. So where on earth is it, and more to the point, does anyone know enough about Wireshark for Mac OS to help me out (I know, I can ask on their forums, and I will - this is more about the apparent lack of this apparently fairly critical directory).

Fairly new to MAC but have quite of experience already. I need serious help with where the ACTUAL "dev" folder is as no one seems to mention it. I see it under terminal but alias after showing hidden does not see it.
I need to remove the cu.Banja-COM1 device as I am trying to setup a USB-Serial (prolific and have the OS X drivers) for my Cisco configurations with Zterm. This is from the ls -la /dev command;
