Where is my purchased ringtones?

Hi the day I purchased my new iphone 4s I immediately purchased 2 ringtones, before syncing with my computer. I came home and hooked it up to my computer and when it was done syncing I undplugged it and my 2 ringtones were no where to be found. I cant find them in my phone or my itunes. But when I began to 'repurchase' itunes tells me that I already purchased those and asks me if I want purchase again. Can anyone tell me where I can find them? Thanks

The ringtones are no longer showing on my phone either. When I plugged in my 4s I followed the prompts (I had 2 choices 'set up as new iphone' or 'use previous iphones information' (something to that affect)) so I selected the second one so it would transfer all the apps from my 3gs to my 4s. During that process is when it took off the ringtones and did not load them to itunes. Does that make sense?

Purchased a ringtone from phone how do I download it

If you've just bought it then it should have automatically downloaded onto your phone and you can allocate it to a sound in Settings > Store, or if you want to allocate it to a particular contact then select the contact and tap the Edit button at the top right of their details.
If, as the page that you posted from implies, you are trying to re-download it then do you have a copy of it in the Tones section of your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads that you can use to sync it back to your phone ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download of it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • My purchased ringtones are not showing up on my iTunes account?! Where are they??

The screen on my laptop has an internal crack so im using my mom's laptop for now. When I connected my iPhone to the computer, I couldn't do anything without syncing my phone which meant everything got erased! I wasn't too upset because I backed up everything on iCloud. Well for some reason, it didn't back up anything and I lost all my media. No biggie. I added most of the songs and apps back. I tried to add the ringtones I've purchased from iTunes but they're not showing up under the "purchased" section of my iTunes account. I don't know why they're not showing up. It's at least 20 ringtones that I've purchased at $1.29 each! Please help!!

I purchased three ringtones on my iPhone 5. They installed quickly and I was easily able to assign them to contacts. The next time I connected my iPhone to iTunes on my computer the ringtones disappeared from my iPhone. They were still showing in iTunes ringtones section on my computer. They showed up on my iTunes accounts page as being purchased too. I tried everything suggested on the forums to get my purchased ringtones to show on my phone again, with no success.
I started trying different things out of desperation and finally lucked upon a solution. I opened iTunes on my computer. Under the Library section I opened Tones (left side of screen same section as music, movies, etc.). When the tones section opened it showed my three ringtones. I dragged the three ringtones to the desktop. I then deleted the three ringtones from the tones menu. It asked if I wanted to delete them from iTunes completely or just from the tones section. I chose to delete them from the tones section only. Once they were deleted From the tones section i went back to the desktop and dragged the three ringtones from the desktop back to the tones section. The computer automatically synced to my phone and VIOLA! the three ringtones appeared on my iPhone again.
Extra suggestion. I have been using an app from the iTunes Store named Ringtone Maker Pro. It takes songs from my iTunes library and converts them to ringtones. It does a great job. There is a video attached that shows exactly what to do step by step.
    Hope this helps.

  • All of my purchased ringtones and songs dissapeared out of the blue. How do I get them back without having to buy them all over again?

Out of the blue, all of my purchased ringtones and music aren't displayed anymore on my iPhone.
I went to iTunes to see if they were stored there, but the downloads folder also appears to be empty. If I try to select a ringtone I've downloaded before, a popup appears saying that I've already purchased that item and asking if I want to cancel or buy. If I click on buy, then I pay for the item again even if I already have it! The only place I can still see my purchased items is in the iTunes application on my computer, but even though I've already selected sync, the ringtones and songs still won't appear on my iPhone.
What happeneded and how can I get them back without having to pay for them all over again?
    Thank you!

I'm having the same problem on an iphone 4s running iOS8; when i updated to iOS8, all my ringtones went missing, and when i got a £50 gift card for christmas (2014), I purchased some songs from the iTunes store on my iPhone. i downloaded songs from paramore, panic! at the disco, coldplay, and imagine dragons, over wi-fi, and they went into my iphone music library; but when i re-opened the music app a few days later, in a place where i had no wi-fi, except for my 3G phone signal, some cloud icons appeared next to my newly purchased songs, telling me to re-download them from the cloud, when i haven't even deleted them. this has happened twice now, and i had to use up some of my 5GB data allowance to redownload them from the cloud. This is annoying and i need to fix this issue ASAP.

  • Ive purchased ringtones from itunes.  They were assigned to contacts.  I did the latest update and now now of them are in the list of ringtones.  I've synced twice and they are not on my iphone.  Does anyone know how to find them?

Ive purchased ringtones from Itunes.  They were working before I did the recent update.  I cannot find them on the iPhone and they are no longer assigned - I had five. I have synced several times and does anyone know where they are or how to assign them again?

On your iPhone tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched on.
    Now reset your iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  • Syncing Purchased Ringtones To IPhone

I'm having difficulty getting my purchased ringtones to show up in my ringtone file so that I may use. Any suggestions?

Where did you get the ringtones?
The ONLY place to get ready made ringtones is from the ringtones section( not music) of the itunes store on the iphone itself.
If they are not under "Ringtones" under "Library" in itunes, then they are not ringtones.
If you bought them from your computer or the music section of your iphone, then you need to create the ringtones.
    Have you created the ringtones?
There are several ways to do this. Google will find them.
    I prefer Garageband.

  • HT203167 I just purchased an IPhone4S.   My purchased ringtones did not transfer.   How do I find them?

How do I find previously purchased ringtones?   I just bought a new IPhone and the ringtones do not show up in my purchased history.

They will only be where you put them.
You should have transferred them from your old iphone to your computer.  From there you could sync them to your new iphone.

How to recover purchased ringtones after wiping phone and laptop

    From your computer backup.
Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability by country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple recommends,  "... back up your iTunes library. " (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).

  • HT3951 can not find a previous purchased ringtone.

I can't find a previously purchased ringtone.  I went to go and buy it again but it says that I have bought it before.  I am using a different computer than what I normally use.  But should it not have been in purchases and should I not have been able to redownload it?  Where can I find it?  thanks in advance.

Ringtones (and audiobooks) are currently a one-time only download from the store, so they won't appear in the Purchased link for re-downloading. If you don't have it in the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library, nor on a backup, then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • How do I re-download purchase ringtone from iTunes

How do I re-download purchase ringtone from iTunes

This is probably not going to be good news but here are a few things before the final point:
    1. If you have the ringtone in iTunes, you can simply transfer to iPhone (If you have backed up your iPhone 5s, it will be available in iTunes)
    2. Click on iTunes store on the left, then in the right hand side, under "Quick Links", select "Purchased". See if you can locate your ringtone
    3. Most Likely (This is the bad news) -> If you didn't backup your purchase, then it's most likely gone.
    Note:
"Ringtones cannot be re-download for free.
Your need to transfer ringtone purchases to your iTunes Library for safe keeping."
"For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases."
